Sim no longer recognized after update and re-root - OnePlus 7 Pro Questions & Answers

Hey Guys,
finally updated the software to 10.3.4.GM21AA, and after i updaded (before rebot) i used Magisk to "Install to Inactive Slot (After OTA)" and rebooted.
the machine rebooted successfully and i am still rooted - but no sims, on any of the slots are recognized.
i tried rebooting with/out the sim, tried both slots, and different sims - non are identified.
I did notice that "Sim Toolkit"(app) and the "Sim Cards" and "Prefered sim for" menu option crash, and cannot be started
please assist
EDIT - SOLVED:
the Magisk OOS Call Recorder module was the cause, i removed it and rebooted and everything was solved.
jOnePlus Tools was a good alternative, after setting it up and rebooting, everything works exactly as it did before.

skvalex module is a good call recorder too.

I have the same issue after I rooted and installed Havoc OS.
I've tried to install the Google Framework but no luck still any ideas what else I can try?

Phone password spontaneously stopped working

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini on stock rom, rooted. I was looking through Xposed for new possibly interesting modules. I installed one which said you can set volumes to have more than 15 points. So I installed it but I did not reboot yet figuring that I would do that later. I made all new backups of my apps and data using Titanium backup and then tried to reboot my phone but the reboot menu button would not work and the screenshot button at the top was blank yet functional. So I loaded up, or attempted to load up Wanam Xposed to check what was going on since that is what configures my rom and it said the app was not installed when I pressed on the shortcut.
So I rebooted the phone, entered the encryption password, it came up to the lock screen and from that point it would say my password did not match. I tried every password I have ever used, varying case and everything. No password worked. I had not manually changed it either. I had no choice but to factory reset the phone and format the SD card. Also I should mention that when I found out that wanam xposed was not seemingly installed any more, I attempted to install it and it would just say "App was not installed" or something. Then I installed Wanam Toolbox or something, I forget exactly now, but that installed and I rebooted and that's when I noticed my lock screen password was not working.
Any ideas on what the cause may have been and what things I could attempt to do if it ever happens again? I thought there was a thing where you can use your google account to unlock the phone but I could not get that thing to come up.

Flashed stock ROM -> SIM card not detected

EDIT: Disregard the rest of the post. Restoring the stock ROM and then installing the OTA apparently fixed the issue for me.
G7 Power user here, with Magisk.
Recently I tried to install the new OTA update, so I followed the Magisk tutorial with the Uninstall -> Restore Images, then Install -> Install to Inactive Slot and all that. Magisk had some issues unpacking the zip at first, but it eventually worked, so I rebooted as per instructions.
Then I got bootlooped. I was warned that might happen once or twice after updating, but no, this was a genuine bootloop, lasted forever. Disheartened, I figured my only option was to reflash the stock ROM completely (as flashing just the unpatched boot.img didn't help) and work my way up from there again.
But when I did that, suddenly my phone stopped detecting my SIM card. No matter which slot I put it in, no matter how many times I turned the phone on and off, the airplane mode on and off, it remained unresponsive. My IMEI is blank, even when I use the *#06#. Dialing the *#*#64663#*#* code, which I've seen as a suggestion to solve the issue, doesn't work either, it just returns me to the dial-up screen.
I've tried every solution I could find online. Some of them led me to more bootlopping, some of them simply added a "system integrity compromised" message that prevented updates and most had no effect. I'm not sure where the problem lies in the first place... Any ideas on what I could do? Any help would be much appreciated.

No SIM card detected, WiFi will not connect and swith off

Hello help needed!!!
I had installed Android 10.0 with TWRP and Magisk.
Then I received tho OTA for 10.1 and installed it. Magisk and TWRP had been gone and I installed them again.
First installed TWRP (twrp-3.3.1-70-guacamole-unified-Q-mauronofrio.img) with fastboot, afte rbooting to TWRP and selected "Install Recovery Ramdisk"
with (twrp-3.3.1-70-guacamole-unified-Q-mauronofrio.img).
after that I installed Magisk-v20.0.zip
finally deleted Dalvik and cache.
when rebooted, I have no WiFi and no SIM anymore.
WiFi is switching off again and going to SIM menu, the application is crashing.
Any idea what needs to be done, what has been done wrong?
Thanks !!!
I had a similar problem and disabled call recording magisk module and worked fine!
Great, that solved SIM issue.
But still my WiFi is always switching off a few seconds after activation.
Any idea for that?

You are god, I have been trying to fix this for 4 hours straight

After attempting Magisk Canary patch, device has several issues (December 2019)

I was trying to root my main driver, a Google Pixel 3 running the most recent version of Android. Initially I was going to flash TWRP and then install Magisk, but TWRP for some reason wouldn't flash, so instead I went about trying to go about the Magisk Canary route. I patched the boot image of the most recent Pixel 3 update and proceeded to flash that in the bootloader. That is when everything went wrong. When the phone rebooted, I found that my touchscreen was no longer working. I tried flashing the boot image using platform tools in the bootloader, but I deleted the -w line in flash_all.bat to prevent a full reset; however this did not solve the issue as I had hoped. I then went into device recovery mode and tried the factory reset option there, but that did not work either. The phone booted and I was in the setup screen with no way to press the buttons using the screen, so I connected an OTG USB device to set the device up only to find that the WiFi is not turning on. I believe there are issues with the mobile network as well as I put in a SIM card but it wan't able to connect to the network; however it did read the SIM card successfully as I was able to "turn on" mobile data. I cannot enable USB debugging to flash anything because I cannot allow the computer's USB debugging request; I either have the computer or my OTG device plugged in. Any ideas on what to do? Thank you in advance!
i have almost the exact problem.
could someone please help
Sounds like the option is, factory image flash-all with the wipe. I believe the OP did not disable/remove modules from magisk before updating. That is something that we all should be aware of at this point. Cost me two bootloops and complete resets, but I learned my lesson. Also backup your stuff. I lost a few pictures, but most of my data and such were restored through Tibu.

Pixel 4a esim I can't add , can't delete

I added around 10 e-sims in total and it was working fine. last time i added an e-sim i don't know if it is fully compatible and it worked no problem i restarted the phone and at the top network bar i saw that it says invalid card - only emergency calls and tried to choose another sim it wouldn't let me choose it wouldn't let me delete sims, it wouldn't let me add a new sim did not allow. There was a problem restart your phone I was seeing the error. I restarted the phone and the problem was not solved. I reset the network settings, hard reset the phone and installed a new stock rom, but the problem is not solved. After installing new rom, when I try to add new esim it says EID not found. How can i solve this problem. The device is an unlocked device
