Flashed a rooted CustomROM but phone remains unrooted?

Hello,
I flashed several rooted Custom-Roms, but my Nexus 5 remains unrooted.
Is there any beginner's mistake from my side?
Thanks
Sometimes you need to enable root in developer options.

Flash this zip http://download.chainfire.eu/351/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.65.zip with a custom recovery and install the superSU app from the Play Store bro. Do you have usb debugging enabled in developer options?

Sorry I only use Facebook for personal use. Did you download SuperSU from the play store?

yes
check my msg
I haven't used that ROM but sometimes you have to enable it in system settings too. I think it's under "Security" or "Developer Options". It's the one where the options are "Disabled", "Apps", "ADB", or "Apps and ADB".
Go to Settings > About > build number > tap it 7 times
Go back to settings > Developer Options > Root Access > Aps and ADB

Change display size in nougat?

Hey all, I've tried looking online and through my own phones settings but can't seem to find anything. Nearly all nougat phones I've used allow the option to change the Display Size yet I don't see that option on the honor 8. Has it been left out? I'm not talking about changing the resolution or the font size, just changing the dpi essentially under display settings.
Thanks

You can do this with adb.
"Adb shell wm density 400 && adb reboot"
Change 400 to what suits you.

Thank you for the reply. I know it can be done via ADB however, every other nougat phone I've used has a "Display Size" setting under the display menu. Just wondering why Honor 8 does not have that option.

Where do you see that? I don't think the "smallest dpi width" is the same thing.

That sure did it, thank you so much! I wonder why they would tuck it away into the developer settings. Thanks so much for the help.

You're welcome
FYI you can enable Developer options, which is hidden by default, to appear under Settings by going to Settings > About Phone and tapping the Build Version 7 times. Then Developer option should appear under the Settings menu.
Thanks @Kikito94
This helped me with my phone
developer setting / scroll to down ,you will see smallest width & 400~420 is good point .don't exceed 430 it will crash your apps.

No more app quickmenu on TouchWiz

Hi everyone,
I am using the latest version of TouchWiz updated through Google Play Store and I am on the latest firmware update but I don't know how to make the quick menu to show up after a long click on top of the app icon. HomeScreen easy mode is Off... i dont even have the option to delete apps from home screen while dragging the app.
What I should do? It was working before...

@TiGuy82,
In Settings/Developer options, enable "Animator duration scale". Set to 0.5X or higher.

Could you be a little more specific? What new update? I've not seen one here, in the US.
