I can only chime in to say that about two months ago after i finally allowed the update it also broke my google pay. Previously it worked fine.

Used to be able to use google pay until the latest update.
Now i'm unable to use google pay even thorugh my phone is stock and passes the safetyNet checks.
Oppo hasn't gotten back with their replies not optimistic i must say.

Snapmod blocked today

Hello,
Altough SnapMod is officially down for months, I still used it until today to save snaps/stories. But today SnapChat blocked the use of older version of Snapchat, since there is no update for Snapmod I can't use Snapchat anymore...
Is there any workaround you know about? Like faking your snap version (by modifying some files/headers) or any other alternative?
Thanks a lot
Sad day indeed, I saw someone advertising A workaround but seemed like a scam because you had to pay to even get to the mod.

Google Pay suddently stopped working

Pixel 2 with Android 9 (PPR1.180610.009) and Magisk v18.1 and Magisk Manager v7.
I used Google Pay with my VISA card for over a year, last used it last Friday and it worked nicely. Today I tried in two different places and I get the "You can no longer use Google Pay in shops" error message.
As far as I know I did not do any update to anything major since months, maybe just the YouTube Advanced Magisk module.
SafetyNet check pass successfully (both ctsProfile and basicIntegrity).
Google Pay is checked under "Magisk Hide" (don't remember doing this, but maybe, anyway I didn't change it between when it was working or not).
My credit card works fine when not using the phone.
Anyone have suggestions on what else I should check? Others around me using the same bank works fine on their phones. (Canada)
Google somehow managed to block Magisk. Same happened to me this week. Keep an eye out on Magisk forum, there's a specific post for Google Pay issues.

Android 10 Open Beta 1 and Google Pay not working

Hello everyone!
Since I installed the new Android 10 Open Beta 1, I can no longer associate credit cards with Google Pay.
I state that I only have the bootloader unlocked, for future use, when interesting kernels or mod Magisk will come out useful.
I have the following error message:
"Couldn't finish setup to pay in stores - This phone can't be used to pay in stores. This may be because it is rooted or altered in some other way."
I find the absurd thing, since with Android 9 stable I had the bootloader unlocked, root access and custom kernels.
Everything worked properly.
Some idea?
Do you have the same problem?
Thanks in advance!
I have experienced a similar problem with Pokémon Go, which I suppose uses SafetyNet to detect root etc. Hasn't that been the case with Google Pay too? So if both Pokémon Go and Google Pay refuse to work and both uses SafetyNet as "protection"-service, maybe that means that there's an error regarding SafetyNet on the Open Beta 1?

Certify Mate 30 Pro by Google Play Store.

I found this link on YouTube where a user explains how to certify the Mate 30 Pro by Google in the Play Store app. I tried this method 1 month ago and although at the beginning the phrase "uncertified device" disappeared from the Play Store, days later the Play Store app showed me that "my device is not certified", so I think it does not work .
Does anyone used this method that explains this YouTube user?

its works for some not for all

This works!
After testing every method i found here or on youtube im very skeptical. Its very exhausting to try these methods, praying to get only Google Services and all you get are that SPAM-like Pop ups from Google about not having an cerified device.
I bought my Mate 30 pro on the 2nd of March.
Build 10.0.0.193 and LIO L29. Kernel is 4.14.116.
Maybe its because im german
Well, does anyone tested this method?

How do you install GMS without data? What method you use? I can't install GMS with data off, whatever I do, it asks for data.
If you save files in usb type c flashdrive or download to pc and set usb transfer files. No need data, wireless.
This link https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/ where they do the certification is very misleading. When you register in theory it should be fine, but what happens is that Google reviews those registrations and decides which ones to allow. So it doesn't matter if you added your play store ID and clicked Register. I got this information from Google support, because I was asking them quite some times to explain why this service for certification does not work and what is its purpose. They told me that they review those requests in order to allow the certification. They could at least give some feedback on their system showing the registrations status - pending, rejected, successful.
I guess they don't care how many paying customers they will lose when they reject the phones and remove the possibility of even adding them manually.

Hello guys... Since September 11, I'm trying to install the Google services in my Mate 30 Pro. I had already the apps installed (since 2019) and I was intented to give this phone to my mom, and, as I bought another phone for me, I reseted my LIO-L29. There's where the nightmare starts. I think I have tried almost (if not all) tutorials, packs of files, procedures, downgrades, and everything that I know, and what I didn't know (what I learned this 3 days).
Resuming, I don't know anymore what to do. The phone was in version 10.0.1.240, downgraded to 10.0.0.157, but no success anyway.
Anyone had tried some procedure in last days, and worked?
All procedures fail in some part, almost all, at add de Google account, when you "froze" in the sign in page and install the Google service framework, the phone should back after that with the Google account logged in, but no success.
Please, if someone can help me, I will VERY GRATEFUL.
Thanks

Even without GMS its a great device, just have to accept that there is life besides google.
I am lucky that I have GMS on my device since November last year, I have no problems but than again I use very few google dependent apps on the 30pro.
I tried every method posted here and on the internet.. but even though I installed google play store, I was never able to connect to my google account. Right now google has severed the sign-in process.. The only method that worked for me was installing a Virtual Machine in my phone.
here the link if you want to try it. Good luck!
So (as of today and 20/09/20) you can not install google services on mate 30 pro ??
That's bad, I just bought this phone today .....
With Last micro g version, I could again sign in YouTube vanced
