Google Translate works just fine with instant translations however, importing a picture generates this error.
All the permission are correctly set.

Hello
I have found a Chinese Windows Live Messenger on Applanet Market.
I translated it into English (there was a source English code inside, but in the menu there was no function to change the language)
I examined and edited the permissions too. I left the Camera and VoiceRecorder rights because without them the program also worked, but when you want to use for example "Take photo" function the program force closed.
Then I examinded this program and repaired with Privacy Blocker.
Now it works fine in my Samsung Galaxy S I9000.
There are some Chinese texts, because they are from the server communication.
Some instruction:
-Sort Contacts By Status -> Menu->Others->Sort your Contacts
(the Chinese text will disappear in case)
-Don't be afraid if you don't see your offline contacts
Menu->System Settings ->Show online contact only
This program not my creation. I just translated and edited the permission in order to be more safer.
If somebody wants to edit the APK
Download an APK tool
Run->cmd
Change directroy ex. to C:\ (if the apktool files are there)
to cmd write this line:
apktool d Messenger.apk (rename it without spaces)
The Messenger folder will appear.
Finally when you finished your programming:
apktool b Messenger
The new APK will be in the Messenger folder in dist folder.
Then you have to Sign the APK with Auto-Sign tool.
Im getting "can not allow login" message when I try to login.
Seems to work good it says there is a new version then links me here can you traslate it? http://3g.msn.cn/pc/
edit: NVM I found this but I have to figure out how to get it since I'm on verizon https://market.android.com/details?id=miyowa.android.microsoft.wlm
So I like it so far, but when I have no clue how to access the google docs with this app that was preinstalled in my tablet. The only option its giving me is box.net sync.
How do I get it to do Google Docs?
You're not alone.
It seems many people have had problems with only being able to add a box.net account instead of Google Docs and box.net. The problem seems to exist only with certain builds of Polaris Office, because both options are available to some users. I'm not sure if the most recent versions have dropped support for Google Docs or if this is just a bug that exists in some builds that many of us ended up with.
I haven't found a real solution for the missing Polaris feature, but you could:
- Download the Google Docs app.
- Access your docs using the Google Docs app.
- Long press on one of your documents and use the "Open With" option to open the file with Polaris Office.
- Edit/save your files using Polaris.
- Then use the Send menu option in Polaris and select "Docs" (Google Docs).
- You'll be given the option to upload the file to your Google Docs account with or without conversion to Google Docs formats.
- You should see a notification of whether the upload completed successfully or not.
- Go back to the Google Docs app and you should see your updated file listed.
I hope that helps.

Much appreciated! I guess I'll have to go the alternate route. What a shame. I feel that this is either a bug or a development choice by Samsung. I really like this tablet, but they are making it hard for me to choose their products again.
When I click documents or spreadsheets in Google Drive it launches Quickoffice (I have the regular version not the full version), which is fine. But when I make a change and try to save the document it keeps saying "unable to save file".
So how are we suppose to edit document/spreadsheets now?
Also Drive doesn't give you the option to convert files to Google Files anymore, what's with that?
Minimal Light Twitter Editor: you can search tweets by tags using recent, popular, mixed options or by a username.
Usage suggestion: try a search and you'll be able to immediately translate a Japanese tweet to "ru" (Russian) or to "en" (English) , "it" (Italian), etc...
Finally save the tweets (from searches, home, mentions or lists) to your Google Drive as a .txt file
It is an open source project!
Visit Developer's Website from Google Play (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.new_year) to look at the source.
TLDR : Do you know a calendar app that allows me to manualy / programaticaly set the time between 2 refreshes of URL's .ics calendars, unlike google agenda that fetch them only once a day and you-dont-even-know-when as it's stated there ?
Hi
Firstly, i'm not shure i'm posting where i should. I'm looking for an app that i'm pretty shure it exist but i cant found it with the keywords i have, so maybe i'm not expressing what i need as i should.
This issue is the following :
Google calendar is very nice, it allows me to aggregate a personal calendar and the calendar from work that come in a .ics URL format. BUT google calendar only fetch the URL and get's update once a day, and not even on the same hour every-day, and it's not tolerable : i need to get update quicker than that.
Do you know some kind of app that could do that : Fetch the .ics from the web with a MANUAL REQUEST or with a CONFIGURABLE TIME INTERVAL (like 15mins), and then agregate it with my personal calendar ( that i can move out of google's server, i dont care.)
Hope someone has the solution.
Regards
