Unlocked G930T wanting to use wifi calling on new carrier AT&T - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

My phone was originally bought for use on tmobile, its been unlocked for a while and ive recently switched to at&t, which doesn't support wifi calling on unlocked samsung phones. I thought maybe flashing the at&t version could fix this but the only post i found on here from tmobile to at&t suggested wifi calling wouldn't work. Is there a solution to this or am I stuck with no wifi calling?

Probably stuck

Should I flash T-mobile firmware on Sprint phone since T-mobile is my provider?

I just got a Sprint phone and I am in the process of unlocking it. Once I unlock it, should I flash the Sprint S7 with the T-mobile S7 firmware since T-mobile is my provider? I know I won't get wifi calling and VOLTE, but I figured the preconfigured settings on T-mobile APN etc will make it easier for me to use the Sprint phone with less issues? The other option was flashing the International unlocked firmware.
What are your guys' thoughts?

International SM-G930F with T-Mobile

Hi all,
I've read up on a couple of threads here relating to using an international version of the S7 on T-Mobile (Reason being because I want a white version of the phone). People say that the phone works fine other than VoLTE and Wifi Calling. Unfortunetly, Wifi calling is huge for me because T-Mobile service is spotty in my home town and at work and the only way I can get a solid signal is through Wifi.
I was wondering if it would be possible to somehow flash some T-Mobile software onto this international device that would make it think that it is a 930T device and get Wifi calling to work.

Samsung S10e AT&T version on TMobile network

Hello everyone,
I bought a samsung s10e that I suspect is the AT&T version G970UZKAATT. This phone is supposed to come sim unlocked.
- Does that mean that when I insert a TMob sim card, will it reboot like the S9 and the TMobile logo will show up, then
the phone will work just like a regular TMob version G970UZKATMB?
- Will it have wifi-calling for TMob?
- Will it support all TMob LTE and HSPA frequencies e.g. band 71?
- Do all versions of the G970U support the same frequencies once unlocked just as these websites suggest?

Hardwares all the same. No, it wont boot with a Tmob logo. If you want it to act like a Tmob G970 flash the Tmob firmware.
I was just testing a S10e that has G970U1 as model (probably flashed) on the back says G970U.... I inserted an Ultra Mobile SIM card (TMob mvno) and it seems that the wifi calling works on the unlocked ROM .... So no need to flash TMob version, I believe.
Can anyone confirm wifi calling works on the factory unlocked version?
I have the g970u1 factory unlocked with u1 firmware. It has tmobile wifi calling. The only things missing are tmobile video calling and that rcs messaging I think. But, I flashed the tmobile u firmware a couple months back and the phone booted up like a tmobile branded one with the jingle and stuff. I didn't need those so I reflashed the u1

Thank you so much for confirming. I've just got my g970u1 factory unlocked and wifi calling with Ultra (TMob mvno) seems to work too. I tested using airplane mode enabling just wifi and I can still make calls

Have unlocked AT&T S10e with T-Mobile firmware..how do I get back to AT&T for wi-fi calling.

My phone is an unlocked AT&T phone. It has AT&T bloatware. The serial number indicates it is an AT&T phone. The service provider software version is ATT. I bought the phone so I could use the wi-fi calling feature which is nowhere to be found. Put the AT&T SIM in my son's phone and he has wi-fi calling. AT&T's website gives the latest firmware as G970USQS5GUF1. My phone was just updated OTA to G970USQS6GUI1 which happens to be the T-mobile firmware. I put a T-mobile SIM card in the phone and I now have wi-fi calling. T-Mobile coverage is basically non-existent in rural Appalachia so I don't want to switch carriers. I have read numerous posts that say the basic firmware is the same for all carriers. So, my question is which files do I need to flash to get wi-fi calling working on my phone? Also, I can't really go back to BL 5 can I? I am totally new to this although I have flashed a Moto before.

Wi Fi Calling Compataility Question

I have a Samsung S10e (SM-G970U1) that is not compatible with Wi-Fi calling. I called my carrier (US Cellular) and they said that they support this service but my phone is not compatible for it. I bought the phone unlocked on eBay. Is there a way to get my phone where I can get Wi-Fi calling enabled? If not, is there an unlocked phone I can purchase that will be compatible with my carrier.
Thanks in advance
