Fonts? - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Themes, Apps, and Mods

I have a whole bunch of fonts in ttf format.
Is there an app that can convert them so I can use them on the Fold2?

https://www.google.com/search?q=ttf...msung-gs-rev1&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
Right on top, my friend!!! Good luck

You can't install custom fonts unless you have root. You only can install fonts from galaxy store.
There is also monotype pack of fonts - you can install them. But you can't install a random ttf font, even if you convert it to apk.

[FONTS] 394 fonts that can be applied with Font Changer. (ROOT REQUIRED!)

Hey everyone just wanted to post this and let everyone decide if they would like to use them. I recently did a google search and found a large file in filetube that had hundredes of flashable .ttf fonts. So I went through them all and made this file that is to be used with Font Changer from the market. There is a free and a donate version. Please consider buying the Devs donate version because it is a very handy tool and he has done a very good job with this app. Below are the steps to apply these. Very easy and Enjoy.
Steps
1-Download the fontchanger file that I have here. Fonts folder
2-Install Font Changer from Market.
3-Un-zip the downloaded file, in it is a folder named .fontchanger.
4-Move the .fontchanger file to root of sdcard.
5- Now start Font Changer again and all of your new fonts will be there and able to install.
6- Reboot phone as the popup will ask and enjoy.
Huge thanks to mayfield103 for providing me with the folder that I lost...sorry about that guys.
i was looking for some good fonts, thanks. got it installed on my inspire

I found a Theme Font Pack wich include a type of font that when you apply it change ALL the fonts on you phone.
I found it here https://huaweiemuithemes.blogspot.com/2016/06/pack-of-12-awesome-fontsmarshmallow.html
steps.
1.download them (if they are named as .bin rename it to .hwt)
2. move to HWThemes
3.go to themes app
4. choose the one of the previous "Theme Font Pack" and apply it.
Ps. for better results just rebot, sometimes it doesn't aply completly
good luck

This is impossible as numerous apps have their own font embedded in the apk. You will have to change that as well if you want a "true" system-wide font.
I do this with the Dropbox app for example as this app contains a stock Roboto font, whatever other font you install for the system it will by default use Roboto, unless changed to something else :good:
You saved my a*ss, than you!!

"Font Style" on U11?

I can't find it anyplace, and I don't see anyplace in the HTC theme app to use already existing fonts, it seems to only allow you to use cloud fonts.
Anyone know how to change the fonts other than via "font style", without physically overwriting the existing system font with a different one?
I'm rooted, and fairly good with a terminal if needed, though would prefer a chooser with a GUI.
Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried Googling "flashable fonts?" I haven't used any on this phone (yet...you have sparked my interest in that again...), but you can download fonts that are flashed through recovery.
The ifont app allows you to upload your own fonts if you don't already see it in their choices.
If you use the stock theme app you can download fonts from there
Sent from my HTC U11 using XDA Free mobile app
If you can find font APK, install it then choose it in Theme app.

I've got the fonts on my phone, in the /system/fonts/ folder with the stock ones, same permissions,. etc. but I see no place to change from the stock font to one of them instead. in older versions of android there was a 'Font Style' section to change the system font, I don't see it on the U11 at all.
The HTC theme app, and all the APK's I've seen, either force you to download fonts or rename fonts to the stock font (like 'roboto.ttf') and overwrite it, to trick the system; or both.
I don't have a problem getting fonts on there, I'm asking how do I take the fonts I have, and change the system font to one of them, like the (apparently deprecated) 'font style' section in settings allowed you to?

Not sure if stock Android always had a theming engine. From what I've seen only Samsung stock ROMs and Xiaomi phones have that support. But a rootless theming engine is coming in Oreo for sure:
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-oreo-rootless-system-theme/
Anyway the way I change font without overwriting existing font is, copy whatever fonts I want to /system/fonts, change those fonts to permission 644, and then edit /system/etc/fonts.xml to override the existing sans-serif fonts, which is usually the Roboto family. This works for other languages as well if you scroll down.
Every time you change this will require a system reboot to utilize the new changes, so I usually do this in twrp

Creating you own font pack with OTGSub

Hello everyone.
I'm trying to create my own font pack for substratum.
I used to have these fonts applied though Magisk by replacing them in system/fonts but thought this would be easier. However I can not get it working. The fonts are all still the same name as they were working using Magisk but now they do not work.
I have placed all the fonts I want inside a zip and am loading this up in OTGSubs as a font. Included in this zip are:
- 18 variants of the SanFranaisco font, all renamed to their corresponding roboto font.
- the Droidsansfallback.ttf so unsupported characters still get shown.
- the Twemoji 2.3 font.
However, none of them get applied. What am I doing wrong? I apply in substratum and nothing changes even though substratum says it's applied.
Attached is an image of the zip, the zip itself, and the apk that gets made by OTGSubs.
Apk: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0yqVMZVYwLLd19PR2ZYQ2Y0UjQ (too large for xda)
Thanks in advance,
Bump, anyone that can help?
