There is a m2 2302 phone, or rather, in fact, it really seems to be a dual version, a check on imei / checkboxes near sim cards / sd card on the other hand, everything indicates this. But the phone itself is running on android 5.1.1 with build number 18.6.A.0.182 WHAT IS NOT A FIRMWARE FROM 2302, so a reasonable question arises, what should I do in order not to spoil my phone. I would like to know in more detail who thinks / knows about this. thanks in advance

Well I recently purchased a G2x and I wanted to use the phone on the Simple Mobile Network, but when I put the sim card in and power on the phone it states "No Sim Card" now when I contacted LG about this their tech support stated that I need a new sim card, but that makes no sense because the sim card works on other phones so as you can see I'm at a loss as what to do or what could be wrong. I've included what it shows as far as the system information that I see. Also I should mention that the phone starts up fine and is unlocked.... The crazy part is the sim I used was a fully functioning one and when I returned it to my other phone it said "No Sim card" in the phone I use everyday.... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You already asked about this in another thread. Thread spamming is against forum policy and other members don't like it. They will find you too annoying very fast if you keep up this type of behavior.
Just because the SIM works in another phone doesn't mean it will work in yours. Have you tried it in another G2X? If you haven't done that then it is possible LG was right. Many people on TMobile had an old version SIM card which wouldn't work on the G2X and they had to get a new one. May not be your problem, but it's possible.
I was wondering if someone could help me or point me in the right direction to avoid bricking my phone somehow.
First off, a bit of confirmation for anyone else out there... I have successfully moved my Verizon Galaxy S3 to Walmart Family mobile. Currently trying to (safely) rid myself of annoyances.
Bought a new device via ebay with clean ESN for Verizon (I'm unsure if it's still locked to Verizon network, see below for details)
None of the suggestions like *#1973 ... worked as my phone was on a 4.0.1 release (or so I think) I don't see any websites that would offer and unlock code and I read somewhere that the manual unlock needed something like 4.1.x or higher.
I used Odin to upgrade my device to 4.1.1 (Still couldn't find any unlocking info but..
Inserting my Family Mobile SIM card actually works (for calls and SMS) but the device still complains that it has a non-valid sim for Verizon. Going in to the Apps menu and killing the Setup Wizard 1.0 removes that message until the next reboot.
Optimally, I'd like to upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.3 but have a few concerns.
Will an update rid me of the Verizon sim check? or is the sim checking piece not in the ROM but actually inside the bootloader itself?
I'm not highly technical (but dangerous enough I suppose).
When all is said and done I'm looking to have a 4.3 device with a Family Mobile APN that works (so far I don't believe that's occurred. Device is nice under wifi and says that cellular data is 'active' but I don't think it's working since I can't hit websites in cellular only mode.
Any suggestions for getting my device to a happy place without rooting it would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Being that I posted this for others as much as myself I'll go ahead and answer my own question.
After using Odin to bring my S3 (i535) phone up to rev 4.1.1 of Android using the Verizon image (only updating the AP, not the bootloader or other elements) I found online, I was able to cable the device in to a PC running Kies. After performing a quick backup I looked for potential firmware updates and was able to have Kies do the upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.3. This removed most of my fear of applying something wrong (BL, AP, CP, CSC).
Once the update completed I was in fact asked to update to the new Kies 3 before restoring my backup. I can verify that running that update was smooth and the new Kies restored the backup created with the earlier version without issue.
The non Verizon SIM issue still exists on 4.3 but I continue to kill the Setup Wizard app after booting the phone and all seems OK.
I should also note that in 4.1.1 Verizon removed the ability to add APNs but that is now back in 4.3, so I was able to successfully update to the T-Mobile APN settings Walmart Family suggested.
Next month I will be attempting to move an unlocked global S3 mini GT-i8190 to Walmart Family as well. At present, the 4.1.2 OS is the latest release there. I do not intend to move that device to 4.3 at this time. I have read that it may be possible to rest the device and list is as Romanian (or some other eastern European country where Samsung did decide to offer the newest version to the public).

Hello my friends.
I'm gonna do a full clean installation but I don't know my model, version, rom to installed. Where do I see it?
I alrealdy did a full clean installation but it so laggy that I think that I used a wrong stock rom. I don't want to go by the Settings- about, because I really believe that I installed the wrong rom... idk...
I buy on amazon, in this link amazon.com/gp/product/B00LULVD40/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I choose the option without a contract.
You see in this link that if you choose the option "without a contract", it says it will only work with At&t but its always worked with my brazilian operator. 4g and etc...
In the tablet side theres some numbers but it so hard to see it. I could see the model number ( p1761) , IC:7361A-P1761W CONTAINS IC: 7361 A - E 1729 CANICES - .... .... ... S/N (041)1314901258
ps: (041) very dificult to see it. Idk, maybe...
Sorry for my english. Thank you very much for your help.
So I can say that you can install any Shield Tablet ROM onto the device. In your case, it sounds like you have a 32Gb LTE US tablet (if the listing says it is compatible with AT&T).
On my LTE tablet, I originally had a US LTE version. I downloaded factory images and changed it to a Rest of World (RoW) variant thinking it would allow me to use Australian bands. In short, it doesn't.
I'm not sure whether you could install a Wi-Fi Only build on a LTE device, but my thinking suggests that all it would do is permanently disable the LTE GSM stack (which in my case would be desirable).
Has anybody had any luck getting dual SIM cards to work on the SM-N970F.
I bought a dual Sim tray. And have tested the SIM card works in both slots (moved the SIM card first to bottom then to the top slot)... So it looks like the hardware is all there.
I'm thinking there is a firmware toggle / variant that might enable this? The settings panel only shows one IMEI.
If anybody has the SM-970F/DS could you advise what firmware package (CSC and PDA) that is active?
Thanks!
Does the phone show 2 IMEI numbers in "About Phone" via the phones seeing menu?

He did say Quote "The settings panel only shows one IMEI." Most likely he will need to flash via odin non 5G model firmware SM-N975FZKDBTU https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-note-10-plus/firmware/SM-N975F/BTU/
Damn, I missed that, sorry.
Flashing firmware won't give you the missing IMEI number., therefore, even though the hardware seems to be there, it won't work.
It's not possible, I looked into it with the Note 8.
Well there's a way but it is not legal to do as it includes assigning an imei number to the second slot.
If you want dual sim just sell your single sim and buy a dual one instead.
Ahh, that's a shame.. I'm kinda interested in the assigning an IMEI to the second SIM slot idea though.
Do you have any information on how this might be achieved?
I'm fairly certain my version isn't 5G capable.
Sorry for long explanatory post. Need help.
I finally decided to update my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Indian unlocked purchase) from Nougat to Oreo because the battery backup dropped down to negligible. It was an OTA update.
As far as I remember, my phone's model number was G930F previously, but now it shows G930FD.
I keep shuffling between India and Germany, and my phone has always worked fine in both regions without any setting modifications.
I updated my phone with German SIM in Slot 1 and Indian in Slot 2 (if it matters) and ever since I am unable to locate Wifi Calling Option, either in Quick Menu, or inside Settings. Even tried the dialer settings method but couldn't locate it. My Sim cards do support VoWifi and VoLte, and are working perfectly fine in other phone.
My house barely has indoor network reception, and losing this functionality has made it a serious problem for me. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. I have read man y threads, and support forums all over the web, and coming to think it has something to do with CSC (or CNC) codes about which I dont have any idea how to proceed.
I am an avid Samsung Pay user, and I don't want to lose this functionality any how by accidently tripping Knox or downgrading to Stock Nougat (if it does affect SPay).
Please Help!
PS: On a side note, Oreo updates (2 back to back) has greatly increased the performance and battery backup of my phone about which I was so skeptical that I did not install the downloaded update since 2 years.
