USB-C to HDMI Adapter for Mix 2

hi all,
i'm planing to buy an USB-C to HDMI Adapter to connect TV, but still don't know about supporting of Xiaomi mi mix2 with MHL.
Is it possible to show the smartphone's screen on TV and play videos with this adapter, anybody knows?
If no, are there alternative ways to get it (chrome cast and dlna are not a option)? May be with software?
thanks!
I went to a local best buy and tested out a USB C to HDMI dongle, unfortunately it did not work.
However using Chrome Cast to mirror the screen works great.

[GUIDE] How to use capture card with any android phone

How to use capture card like Elgato or AverMedia with any android phoneWITHOUT ROOT
Hi All,
I would like to share the fruit of my journey on finding a way to use my android phone (in this case i use Poco F1) with capture card.
Looking at big shot mobile game streamers, mostly they use IOS and cast the Screen & Audio via HDMI to a capture card such as Elgato and Avermedia.
It is always more challenging to successfully get HDMI feed from android compared to iPhone / iPad.
i noticed that not all Android phone have MHL to cast via HDMI from USB..
I found a solution called: DISPLAYLINK
I tested this on 3 android phones I have with me:
- Pocophone F1
- Samsung Galaxy A8
- Xiaomi Mi 5
What you need to do is to do:
- USB to HDMI / DVI adapter with Displaylink Chipset
- Download Displaylink app
i do have short video to share a bit more info about it.
Sorry for the shameless promotion of my channel
