I have a Galaxy A71 5G and on the keypad display it shows I have 4 unplayed messages when there are not any new messages.
How do I delete this notification?

I'm trying to use 8SMS instead of the stock text messaging app on my Note 3 but I noticed with 8SMS the notifications on my Gear don't show the message text. Are there any 3rd party Text messaging apps that allow full text notifications?
I happen to use Textra with my Gear 2. Of course I can't reply to the notifications, however I can see a snippet of the text on the Gear 2, and if I tap on the notification, I can actually read the full text off of my watch. You could give Textra a try - it's free.
I used to be able to reply to text messages directly from the notification panel on the gear s2. Now I have to go to the apps shortcut widget, access messages and then reply. What happened to the quick reply option in the notification panel?

I have some questions, even after searching on the internet, they still remained unanswered
1. Pop up notifications
I do not use the always on display. I want the screen to light up when the notifications arrive. I read it is not possible only with third party app. I set edge lighting. I went to whatsapp and message app, at notifications to have only "Sound". In whatsapp it is set to "No pop-up". The smart pop-up from settings is disabled... But I am still getting the pop-up... yes the edge is lighting, but I still have the pop-up
2. In the "Messages" app from Samsung, I cannot see long messages. I have to click "View all" . Can't I have the full text visible?

I have been using the Samsung Messages (SMS) app on my Gear S3 with my Note 9 for years.
Suddenly, notifications sent to the watch from the app stopped.
I tried restarting both, cycling the notification button in the Wearable app and combinations of both actions.
No joy.
The Google SMS and Verizon SMS apps each send notifications to the watch.
The same thing happened at the same time on the Gear Sport that is also connected to my Note 9.
I'd rather not reset the watch, but understand that I may have to, but why only one app notification fail?
