Change lock screen image?? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

How in the world can I change this image? Every app is only allowing me to change the home screen.

While I use Nova as my launcher...I believe it's the same for the default launcher...long press on the home screen, choose wallpaper, select the one you want and make sure it is used for both lock screen and home screen.

With the Home Launcher when you press on the home screen and select wallpaper, the image of your home screen appears above the selections but if you swipe slightly to the right the lock screen will appear and you will be able to change that one separately

Thanks!! I never realized the swipe was there.

Customize home button action?

Is it possible to make the home button always go to home screen preview and not just when you're on the primary home screen? I forget what it's called but by home screen preview I mean the mode you get when you pinch at the home screen and it show's you all of your home screen spacially... same thing happens when you hit the home button after you're already on you primary home screen. I'd like it to do the home screen preview no matter which home screen I'm on.
Adw launcher allows this

Separate Wallpapers

Is there anyway to set a different image for the lock screen and the home screen? I have tried Widgetlocker, however with that app, I can't get the words "Widgetlocker" and the grayish part on the top to disappear.

Change lockscreen wallpaper

Is it possible? It's always the same, no matter what wallpaper I select in the launcher.
Click the little arrow in the top left and then select home and lock screen on the drop down menu
Nevermind, I just found it.

How can I designate a default homescreen on Nova Launcher Prime?

This has been driving me batty for months. I note [email protected] is a senior XDA member so I'm hopeful I'll find a solution here.
I'm running Android 5.0.1 on an HTC One (M8). I've had Nova Prime launcher as default for a couple years and love it, but I cannot find the magic formula for designating my primary homescreen (the one with my clock app and primary app icons--there are two screens to the left; three to the right of this screen) as default. when I tap home twice and get all homescreens in view, there are white house icons above every screen EXCEPT the one I want as default, which shows a black house icon. When I want to go to the homescreen, any of the six may come up when home is tapped.
What I'm trying to do is set my chosen homescreen as default so it pops up whenever I tap home. Not sure if it could be a factor, but I'm also using the Next lockscreen widget as well.
It used to be pretty simple to designate the default homescreen, but either it's become more complicated (or I've gotten stupider)
Any help out there?
Thanks
Go into the home screen overview, then tap and hold the home icon of the screen you want to be your default. That icon should turn white and become the default screen.
Thanks, Scottjb
This is what I find bizarre--what you've suggested only seems to work in reverse: 5 of my homescreen icons are white houses--if I tap and hold on one of those it turns black, however if I tap and hold the black house on the screen I want to designate, absolutely nothing happens. Confused here!

Adjust GS7 Edge DPI without Root

Here is a quick guide to adjusting your screen's dpi without root using a hidden menu. Original post found on phandroid http://phandroid.com/2016/03/17/samsung-galaxy-s7-edge-native-dpi-setting-hidden/. Works great it helps condense the words on the screen so when viewing websites and other things the words are no longer on the edges.
Download/install Nova Launcher
On the Nova Launcher home screen, long press empty space and select “Widgets” at the bottom of the screen
Scroll to the top of the Widget select screen and swipe to the left to reveal the shortcut for “Activities“
Long press Activities and drop it on the home screen
A new screen will pop up and after it loads up (this can take awhile), scroll down and select the Settings drop down menu
Choose .DisplayScalingActivity (should be the 4th option down)
Now select the new Settings icon on your home screen (it wont be labeled) to open up the hidden DPI menu
Select either Standard or Condensed views
Phone will reboot with new settings applied
