Anyone know of an app, magisk or Xposed module that will allow gestures on the lock screen? If you ever had a Oneplus device you already understand what I am looking for. Flashlight by drawing a V. Change music tracks by drawing a sideways V in either direction. Thanks.

I can't seem to post into the development forums because I'm new, so I guess I'll try here...
Last night I installed xposed + gravitybox module and enabled the Maximize widgets on the lockscreen setting. I've got Dashclock on there at the moment and just slide unlock (no pin/password).
The expanding widget parts works just as it should, and I get the lower lock icon. But when I touch it, I can either slide it up (then it collapses into a lockring and I can unlock in the normal fashion), or I can hold the lock icon and it unlocks. This second case weird to me, it seems like it unlocks way too easily. I know before installing gravitybox, holding down the lock into would only collapse the widget, which is what I would've expected it to do.
I have basically stock n5, 4.4.2, rooted, no other xposed modules installed. Playing around with gravitybox settings doesn't seem to change this weirdness.
Any ideas?? Thanks.
On my other devices (which run AOSP kitkat roms), I can access my camera with my pattern lock still enabled. All I do is swipe the pattern to the left, and the camera UI opens. It allows me to take new photos, and review them, but doesn't allow me to access any photos that were taken before the screen locked (i.e. it's not a backdoor to get past the lock and look at all my pictures). I always loved this functionality.
On my vzw M8, I cannot replicate this functionality. If I swipe in the same way, I just get a blank page where a widget can be added. Looking through the available widget options, I don't see anything for the camera. I even installed Google Camera just to see if that would make any difference, but no.
I know that the M8's gesture functionality allows something very similar (long-press vol-down while screen is off to launch directly into camera). I'd love to use this, but the gestures are all-or-none. Since I find the other gestures problematic (double-tap to wake, for example), I have all my gestures disabled.
So is there currently a way to replicate the AOSP locked-camera functionality on this device? Or do I simply have to wait for an AOSP rom?
For what it's worth, I'm running Skyfall 1.3
EDIT - story of my life... I figure something out just a few seconds after asking a question, even though I've been trying to figure it out for days.
Turns out I can swipe down (i.e. to hide the pattern lock), which causes the camera icon to appear at the lower-right corner. Then I just need to swipe up on that icon.
Nice work, Byron
Never mind. Didn't read your post close enough I guess. I see you know about the gestures.
I just flashed HTC Speak for the Viper rom. Now what? I don't see an app anywhere? How do you use this?
Sent from HTC One M8 with an app
I believe it's used with the car app. If you invoke the car app, then tap on the screen with 3 fingers it will bring up this utility. It's the same thing as the google's search widget if you tap on the microphone. I don't know if one is better than the other.
I also thought there was a way to activate it from the lock screen by swiping from the top, but I cannot seem to get this gesture to work under ViperOne.

Its a downward swipe while the screen is off, and its for Voice Dialing (no search/other functions)
I wanted to write a quick guide on how to hide the navigation bar permanently, in the easiest way possible and then use gestures to replace the nav bar soft keys.
This solution has been tested on the Exynos S9+ and you need to be rooted in order for it to work.
Steps:
1. Have root
2. Install the gesture control app of your liking, before proceeding with the next step. Set it up and make sure it works after rebooting. I would recommend either all in one gestures (free) or edge gestures (paid). I actually prefer edge gestures. Play around with the settings to get the most intuitive gesture navigation for you, I have added screenshots of my settings for inspiration.
3. Navigate to the system folder with a root explorer and open build.prop with a text editor. Add the following line to the bottom of the text qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 and save. This tells your device that it has physical navigation keys, so it should disable permanently the soft keys. To revert this simply switch the '1' with a '0', or delete the line, save and reboot.
4. Reboot your device.
I'm not a developer, I just had to piece together this simple solution for a much more natural navigation experience.
I don't notice any slowdowns or battery drain with this solution.

I just tried the app "edge gestures" and it is well done, very customizable and works very well... apparently.
I installed the companion app "more gestures" to get a few more things to do. I wanted to swipe and hold from the right to turn off and lock the screen.
The shortcut works and it locks the screen as it should, but, for some reasons, I can't unlock my phone using fingerprint or face unlock, even though those settings are enabled. As soon as I touch the sensor I get prompted to use my pin, and if I hit the back key under the numpad, I go straight to the lock-screen, and as soon as I swipe up, I'm back with the pin and no use of the unlock sensors.
I had the same option (to swipe and hold to lock the phone) from Samsung's "one handed operation +", but I wanted to use one single app to have the 3 edges of the phone covered and this one seemed optimal for that, instead of using xda "navigation gestures" together with the Samsung's one.
As soon as I disabled this "edge gestures" app, and reinstated Samsung's and xda's one back, everything turned back to normal, face and finger unlock working again.
I wonder if I should have enabled other settings or permissions I'm unaware of, for these apps to work without conflicting with the unlock part.
Has that happened to anyone of you too??
Is it possible to have AOD lockscreen be the only lockscreen? Seems like I have to unlock the AOD and then unlock the regular lockscreen. I LIKE the AOD screen - can I configure it to be the only lockscreen?
Sorry if this is a stupid question - I'm a new Samsung user.

Firstly, i assume you prefer the AOD and the added security of a lockscreen.?
Otherwise,
easiest option, would be to disable lockscreen and set option to " None ".
In this case you would only have AOD if enabled ?
However, in this case, certain banking apps,
and maybe some other apps ? , that
require a lockscreen eg Fingerprint, Pin etc
won't work (non rooted device )
Security.
I would suggest, to enable AOD and fingerprints etc and in AOD you could enable fingerprint icon
to "show always" on AOD screen.?
Only concern is maybe "burn in" issues, on screen ?
Otherwise, you can set fingerprint icon to show if you lightly tap /press screen.
See screenshots.
So al you need is on AOD screen use fingerprint to go straight to your Device main screen..?
There might be some other options some other members use..?
However, your straightforward question was... can you use AOD as " only lockscreen."
My experience.... says no...!
but who knows... if you rooted..!
Good luck.
