Just picked up a maxx today and the capacitative keys are lit unevenly. Recents is quite bright, back is dim, home is in between. I was thinking maybe there should be a light at each side, and the left one isn't working. Anyone else have this?

Take it back. That's defective.

I have a similar issue except back and home have a blue hue, while multitask looks normal.
Honestly its such a small issue that its not worth bringing back, especially if it means possibly getting a refurb.
Is there a way to control how long the buttons stay lit? I want the lights to turn off while the phone is day dreaming and charging on a wireless charger.
I don't think so. Having the keys lit up like the 4th of July while the phone is daydreaming on ultra dim mode drives me nuts...

Whenever i touch or take anything near to the proximity sensor, the screen turns off same like during call... Is there any app for setting of the sensor? Or any other suggestion?
I'm using slimkat 4.4.2 v2.3... I don't have any air gesture app.

I want to activate speaker mode automatically based on proximity sensor.
Just wanted to activate speaker when I move my phone away from my ears...
Is there anyway?

Has magnetic no gyro. Orientation sensor is for what position your holding the phone such as when you hold it up to your ear and the screen goes dark in a call
