Hello all!
I am trying to root my XA2 Ultra, I got TWRP installed and trying to install Magisk Root, when I install the root I am stuck on the Sony Logo Screen (When you boot up the phone) It just sits there no progress. I am not able to turn the phone off, restart, nor does my computer see it when trying to fast boot it. I am running Lineage 17.1, any help would be appreciated!

the title says it all. i first rooted my xperia s and unlocked the bootloader. it was all well and my phone was working although all contacts, music and pictures were wiped. luckily, i had done a backup of those. i went on and installed twrp 2.4 to make a backup of the rom. my plan was to install cynogen 11 after this . but now after installing twrp i am stuck at bootloop, but i can enter twrp by holding down volume button. please tell me how to fix the bootloop error.
Hi,
Asking for help in the twrp thread you downloaded the recovery from would be your best option.
Good luck!
So i got this phoen the other day and noticed the pre installed rom is taking up to many resources, so i decided to try and root the phone and install a custom rom, after the phone rebooted from using Kingo Root It got stuck in an infinite boot loop.
Phone just restarts over and over again, i help Power and Volume Up, this takes me to the boot loader screen and i selected recovery, now i jhad twrp installed and naturally assumed that it would go into recovery mode, Well it didnt and now i am stuck with a phone that just either restarts or sits in fastboot mode when i put it into it.
Any suggestions, to be honest i cant find any stock rom for it, this is the only phone i have and i need it.
Go to the official website and download upgrade tool .. it will identify the phone then downloads the firmware and u get ur stock ROM
im using a samsung j7 2016 (SM-J710F) ive been using this phone since the day it came out and there is completey nothing wrong with my phone and then i suddenly felt like rooting it
but before rooting i had to install twrp first but all was succesfully installed but after installing it, my phone will boot but will only show the samsung boot logo and will last for about 3secs and after that its complete black and its like it just shuts off and i cant boot into recovery mode nor download mode
does anyone know how to fix this pls
thank you so much in advance
I managed to install twrp but the cell phone in the samsung logo was restarted every time, I had to re-flick the stock rom since I was left in an infinite loop, if you could help me I will be very grateful

Pre root the stock rom before installing twrp. Because there is no cusom kernel currently to fix that issue for our a12.
Hi, for 3 days I have been trying to upload custom twrp to my phone and without successfully, TWRP from ashyx allowed me to go the farthest, because TWRP was booting, all options are visible, but the black bars in the center of the screen didn't allow me to do anything. The rest of the recovered odine loaded, green PASS, but it didn't boot at all, immediately the phone entered the system. What advice do you have?
use PBRP and than flash magisk.zip but one thing. I tried this and for me I got stuck in bootloop when doing so the other option is downloading magisk app patchin ap file and flashing it using odin but in my experience this leads to buggy root where you cant use the magisk modules and stuff. If you find a working way to root your phone properly pls tell me.
