Has anyone tried updating to EMUI 11 from EMUI 10.1 with a working GMS sideloaded on it ? Will it somehow impact GMS ? If i recall correctly EMUI 11 is still based on Android 10
All will be ok.

So far no issues after upgrading to EMUI 11 with GMS installed previously.
Google account, google assistant and playstore doesn't shows any error.
My phone mode ELS-NX9 with EMUI 11.0.0.118 installed (beta).

I also have mine mate 30 Porsche and mate Xs upgraded to emui 11 beta without any problems with GMS
Does this go for the newest EMUI 10 also? I now have 10.0.1.136 and want to update to the newest with GMS installed, will it be fine? @ JNY-LX1

Use HiSuite to downgrade to 8.1
I tried to download it, but I've tried different versions of HISUITE, and it doesn't give me the option to downgrade firmware or look for older ones
I'm looking for the same answer...
Does anyone know if Honor 8 will get Android Pie?
I'm also wondering about Android 8.1, will it be available for Honor 8 (frd-l09 especially)
I recently had my phone replaced but this time it refused to download the android 8.0 update both in OTA and hisuite, even after i downloaded and flashed B521 it refused to update to B562.
By refused i mean telling me it's already up to date, both OTA and hisuite.
Is it possible to force it or should I give up on OTA's and hisuite updates
Hello, first of all, I wanna say that we already have fully working and stable Pie.
There is no need getting 8.1 because there is already pie from Open Kirin. I am pretty sure we will get working Android Q this year too and because of treble, we will probably get Android 11 too.
Which stable pie rom u r using on honor 8?

Hi,has anyone installed EMUI 9.1 on the Honor 8 Max Chinese version and managed to get Google services and Play Store working?
I have tried loads of guides but none of them has worked yet.
I'm currently running build 8.2.
Hi i have searched alot but i cant find the answer i need.
Currently im using redmi 10x pro and latest miui version is 12.5.2 (cn rom) and its under android 11. When i was in android 10, i can change the google service framework battery saver option to prevent receiving late msg for whatsapp. This is the only solution for whatsapp notification problem. Now for android 11, the option is gone.
So my question is, can i use back the same stock miui 12.5.2 and just downgrade the google service framework to android 10? I know i can use an older miui version like 12.06 by unlocking bootloader but i wanna continue using 12.5.2. Is it possible?

Yes i wanna downgrade the version. Previously i was using version 10 and the battery saver option is there so i suspect maybe is the version problem? Currently is version 11.
From what i see at apkmirror, version 10 is for android 10, version 11 is for android 11.
FYI: Latest Google Services Framework ( Package Name: com.google.android.gsf ) version is 9.0, it was released May 29, 2019.
My guess is you mean something completely different.

The missing option could be due to android 11 also. So if i were to use back same stock miui 12.5.2 and downgrade to android 10, is it possible to do that?
