hello guys, i just want to ask this question here.
has anyone tried flashing the poco x2 firmware on redmi k30? if you did, how was it, i mean are there no problems or issues in doing so, many thanks.
Yeah, it's possible but poco x2 rom doesnt have NFC support. I would recommend xiaomi.eu stable rom
I tried. Theme is not working. Everything else is fine.
thank you for your feedback, just follow up questions though, are you still in poco x2 firmware? i'm thinking of flashing it on my k30 but i wonder if i will receive the ota updates like what a poco x2 will do.
Hello. I'm trying to do same thing on my phone. do you have refresh rate options (60,120) on display settings on global version?
Yes Poco X2 has refresh rate option to switch between 60 or 120

If the bootloader starts, then you can fastboot flash back the original ROM (from Xiaomi Firmware Updater) and you are back again.

The bootloader doesn't start and can't turn on the power to the phone. The phone doesn't charge when plug charger in.
Thanks

What do you mean? Both phones have NFC chip and come with NFC enabled from the factory as far as I know.

Hello! I am looking to buy a K30 5G.
Does anyone here have one/ did you guys try to flash any Poco X2 ROMs?
I wont buy it if I wont be able to use Poco ROMs, so, can someone confirm everything works?
No..!!
They are NOT the same device. Their difference is more than just 5G or non-5G.

The SoC is different. K30 is S730 and K30 5G is S765. There is another device forum for that but this support is much less since it is a China only device for now.

Hi all,
I am trying to install Revolut app on k30 pro zoom with the chinese rom. Google play shows as not compatible with my device. I can side load probably but I prefer not to. I am trying to find some information but I cannot find what is the reason for the incompatibility, I checked tons of articles online but nothing seems to work or at least to make it clear what is the problem(including Revolut support and Google communities). Has any one tried to install Revolut on Poco f2 or on K30 pro? Other financial apps are installable. Any hints are welcome.
Thank you
Can anyone that has either Poco f2 or K30 Pro in EU try if he/she sees the Revolut app in the Playstore?

Thank you too. So you have k30 pro zoom with xiaomi.eu rom?
If yes, does the camera support the +30 zoom? If yes I will just use the global ROM.

i have been using my Poco X3 Pro for the past two years, and I recently received a Huawei computer as a special gift for my university studies, I didn't mean that I hate Xiaomi devices, but rather I would like to use that feature I found on a huawei laptop, if possible.
