As u know OnePlus does the sound tuning and stereo seperation in the phone speakers themselves and they don't allow users to manually customize the sound of their phone. We had the power to customize the sound in Dolby Atmos by simply installing a ported apk in OOS 10 which required no root but that ported Dolby Atmos stopped working in OOS 11 it would be a great help if someone helps porting Dolby Atmos in OOS 11. (I am not a Dev I am just a OP8 user).

Looking at this image it seems that u r running OOS 10 not OOS 11
Yes Dolby Atmos is present in sound settings but I am talking about full Dolby Atmos app just like in Razer 2 from which u can also tune sound by equalizer for phone speakers (which can be downloaded for OOS 10 but in OOS 11 it doesn't work).
I think you need to wait for a version of the app to be released for android 11. There were a number of behind the scenes changes in 11 and I wouldn't doubt that the app needs to be made to work with them.

It is really sad that this is not working with OOS11, not sure why oneplus won't include a fully fledged version if they are already paying for dolby license.

The reason why OnePlus does that is bcoz they tune the audio presets themselves and they don't want users to tune the sound themselves bcoz it can cause distortion in speakers and can have a bad effect on speaker health.

It's very old mod with update. Someone hacked there payments account that's why thread is closed. Mod is working fine.

You need a root explorer I use MK File explorer go to root directory then System/apps then find the folder where viper and other one is installed and delete it...
*Before deleting Viper uninstall it's driver from the app...

Search for "dolby atmos 1.6 apk" on google and install.
You can configure this in Spotify or Play music settings but not for youtube or others app. It's the only one for now :\

No audio mods work with EMUI (or custom roms) because of Huawei/Honor sh***y implementation of something related to audio. On some model they partially works, on others (incl H8 wich i'm in possess too) simply doesn't. Also they might break something, it's suggested not to try

Viper4Android and Dolby Atmos is working for me. But just if rooted, Magisk installed, and Viper and/or Dolby Atmos installed with MagisManager module.

Viper CANNOT work on emui 8. It only loads 64bit drivers. So you may have it installed but there is NO possible way it works for you bud since viper is a 32bit driver.

Goto music then equalizer setting or in quick menu at status bar. Or setting then sound then sound and quality. You will see dolby if you install dolby mod.

Hi there, i am trying to flash it through TWRP on my stock android 8.0, but the second i press flash button in aroma my phone immediately reboots into twrp, and accordingly there is no dolby atmos in sound settings. what can i do?

AudioFX is your best bet. I had a bunch of bootloops with all V4a and atmos installations. If you do get any of them working, let me know what you used.
None work on Pie. Only JamesDSP work but on EMUI 8 and Oreo treble ROMs.

Today I was trying to get at least any equalizer working across the whole phone and I found one. Its pretty bizzare but it works.
When I tried EqualizerFX from Play store, it worked only for some system apps. I did some research and I find a way to make it work with all apps including youtube and spotify and bass boost effect is also working. It just doesnt always work and I dont know why.
