Hello. So I rebranded my device from BLN-L21 to BLN-L22 to update to the oreo firmware, using the guides available here.
However, since then, I haven't received any update.
Build no: BLN-L22 8.0.0.510 (C675)
Emui: 8.0.0
Android Security Patch: 1 Aug 2018
Baseband: 21c60b269s003c000
How do I receive future updates on oreo, maybe also EMUI 9 update?
Preferably on stock EMUI rom, because most custom roms don't even leave alpha/beta/experimental stages before getting discontinued.

Support for Honor 6x has ended after the emui 8 update.
you could try using gsi as this device supports project treble. They work fine except for volte and camera issues.
And yeah the project treble gsi's will not be discontinued. Thanks to the devs.
*Camera issues only arise if you mess up your installation(and mostly doesn't occur and can be fixed with fresh installation).

I'm currently on B150, should I upgrade?

I see, that makes sense. Can I upgrade directly from emui 4.1?
Flashed successfully. Not sure if it is the official Nougat but so far it's working fine.
I think this is still BETA.
From EMUI page on FB, they said that Official version of EMUI 5.0 will be released from June 2017. Keep waiting.
I also installed this update and working fine. But in reboot I get a "device not authenticated" alert. Is this not a certified signed firmware? Or have I installed a hacked one?

You're on latest. An EMUI 6 update isn't confirmed yet for our device, but if it should arrive, it'll be on Q1 2018 most probably.

you are already on latest EMUI. EMUI 5 is running for most of them with couple of them running 5.1.

Just received an update to EMUI (version 17.7.84.1) which apparently improves the detection of supplied future updates.
Does that mean I may be getting Oreo and EMUI 8 finally here in the UK (sim provider BT)? Has anyone in the UK got Oreo OTA without the need to use FF?

How do you mean 17.7.84.1? EMUI version on my Mate 9 in the UK is 5.0.1 still only with the November 2017 security patch level.

Hi there. Same here, have the US region Mate 9 C567 and still on Emui 8 376 with November 2018 security patch. Seems like for our phone there's only the 377 update (April security patch) approved and some got it. I didn't yet. No news about Emui 9 for us...

Ive been waiting for OREO update for asia region official update but to no vail & last update was still in EMUI 5.0.3 Android 7. Build no is FRD-L19C636B392 last security patch of 1st August 2018. Ive also search for update on Team MT's online firmware database but got nothing either on OREO.
So do I have to rebrand to other region in order to get the OREO update? if yes then which would be best to rebrand to, since FRD-L19 for europe got the OREO update.

Same here, ı have middleeast version and stuck on 5.0.4 emui version. Did u even tried to rebrand?
