I hardbricked my moto g8 plus . Please someone help me - Moto G8 Plus Questions & Answers

So , I installed the android 10 some days ago . I didnt like that much so I decide to install the android 9 again . When I flashed as I used to do the Smartphone does not turn on anymore . it has not sign of life . help me

If you have the possibility, start the device manager in windows and check if in the Ports (COM & LPT) section you can see your phone as a device in EDL 9008 mode. If you don't see, try to connect the phone with holding the Volumeup + power keys. Keep even several seconds. Maybe it will help. I also have the same situation, but I can't try this method now because I gave my friend's phone to the service and he is up to something. But I found this method in the doha service manual.

Did you have it charging when it didn't turn on anymore? maybe it's shorted because it's weird that it doesn't turn on anymore when you installed Android 9 before and it worked

Maybe it has no charge I think. When the phone is hardbricked or you can enter the bootloader it appears on the PC as COM

i have same problem, i triend several roms, It is always in bootlogo loop... =(
If you can enter bootloader ,
1) first unlock bootloader, flash twrp recovery then root your phone, then flash custom rom
2) try to flash firmware by any standard method

Help me I am in the same problem
Same problem here. I can't even enter recovery, it just bootloops every time i select recovery mode on fastboot mode. I tried RSD, linux, everything. I might think i have corrupted some partitions trying to unbrick it. Losing my hope here hehe.

[XT1039] CID 0xDEAD: CANNOT FLASH A BACKUP

First I apologize for my english. I bought this phone bricked (perhaps because of a fastboot erase all command) for a very little price... and I'm trying to repair it for personal use. A my friend has a XT1039 so I dumped all his partitions in .img files, to help me restore. The first problem I saw was that the CID was set to 0xDEAD (I think that that means that I can't flash the system sparechunks)... So I tried to restore it via fastboot flash cid cid.img but it returned a "Permission denied!" error. The device boots directly in the bootloader, printing "Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0", but I know that the bootloader was unlocked by the first owner. I've flashed all the partitions of the motorola firmware (but none of the backup that I made whit the other phone) yet, whithout the system sparechunks that return me a "Invalid signature - preflash validation failed error". Another sorry for my poor english, I'm ready for questions, and I post the fastboot getvar all below.

Question Bought a soft bricked edge 2021 and all it does it bootloop after flashing firmware multiple ways

Hi,
I don't understand what the issue is with this this phone. It continually just bootloops. It gives the error plese see pick:
I tired:
1. Lenovo's rescue tool-it successfully flashed; still bootloops.
2. Verizon's firmware tool-it successfully flashed; still bootloops.
3. Downloaded the firmware manually and manually flashed every file; still bootloops.
The phone turns on every time, I can boot to fastboot and recovery. Bootloader says oem_locked. I don't know what else to do. I thought this would be an easy fix.

Bootloader seems out of date compared to the factory firmware available for vzw.
I don't think the firmware is flashing correctly.
Please try using Moto Flash pro:

- = MotoFlashPro = - Utility to flash for Motorola devices on Qualcomm processors. Instruction Pre-extract the firmware archive to either an adb&fastboot driver folder or another location on your PC if you are catching firmware from any drive...
