Hi all!
After rebooting the headunit all radiostations are gone, even if rebooting through menu and ACC powered. All other settings stay and date and time are always correct too.
Using custom Android 8 ROM from HAL9k (Version 3.1) and modded MCU (MTCE_GS_V3.00bd_3)
Hope there is a hint someone could give me.
Thank you!
geordy
There is no solution for this bug, it's discussed many times in the Hal9k topic.
Hi,I recently installed the hal9K 7.1.2 from android 5.1.1. However I would really really like to upgrade my HU to android 9. After hours of searching forum and Google I haven't found any material on this specifically mentioning upgrade of 9 over 7.1.2. I had two queries.
1. Has anyone done a update from the above mentioned "hal9K 7.1.2 for all head units" upgrade successfully to the android 9.
2. If yes have can you please please provide instructions on how I can go about doing this. With DL links for software.
p.s. could you also mention any known issues I.e. hal9K 7.1.2 has issue with stock video player.
props to hal9K for a brilliant android 7 upgrade love the work thank you.
if this question has been answered please provide link.*

You dont mention what you have considered, tried already or if you even have an MTC(D/E) unit. If the unit is an MTCx and nothing considered or tried, suggest Android 8 Upgrade method (read thread) or consider flashing Android 8 partition by partition by OTG (also see thread in my sig).
These helpful guys might have some suggestions: @Lince @Kelevra1902 @kupa @segu45

Wrong forum... You need to post the question in the related MTCD/MTCE forum. I asked mods to move it.
Oh sorry
Yes. Have a read thru mtcd forums and also my post Android 10 upgrade with free tools
Where is your post android 10 upgrade with free tools ?
If you would have used the search function in XDA you would have found that thread within a few seconds yourself...

Hi guys,
I recently purchased a Mini Cooper S from 2011 and I have an Android 10 PX5 RK3368 radio.
I'm new in this world and I have a few questions/problems.
Problems:
I have a problem with the Wifi. I can't connect it. If I try to connect to the house's internet it connects, but I can't navigate.
If I try to connect it to my iPhone 11 Pro hotspot, it doesn't connect. It continues to try to connect but nothing happens.
When I try to configurate my google account it continues to load but it fails.
Questions:
Is there new updates that I can do?
In order to solve the wifi problem can I buy a simple USB Wifi Adapter?
The guy who sold me the car said that I have to buy an adapter in order to connect it to my iPhone's hotspot but he didn't specificate. Now he doesn't reply to my messages.
If someone can help me I would be veeery happy guys, please help me
Wrong forum. You probably want https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/android-head-units.4267/
This one is for Android Auto, not for head units running the Android OS.
Reported to mods so they can move it.

Hi,
I found this guide later and it worked, finally!
Thank you.
Is Hal9k compatible with this unit because it appears the head unit controls indicator sounds and warnings. Seller wont give original software so if it's bricked I'm screwed
Exact the same problem here.
But this workaround in #642 dont work with my Avin Avant PX5 Android 9, even after hard reset an setup the wifi connection manually.
The connection worked the first time without any problems, then not anymore.
The problem does not exist with Android hotspots or other WiFi networks. If I get within range of the head unit, it connects immediately.
Maybe there is a newer MCU or Android version.
i asked here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-9-0-2-4gb-ram.3929597/page-27#post-88177991 (#521) a few weeks ago.
It seems no one has the ultimate tip to solve my problem.
