I have recently downgraded my watch active firmware in order to change it's CSC so I would be able to use samsung pay. But now I can not update the watch back to the latest Tizen version ( 4.0.0.7). I am wondering if I use Odin to flash the new firmware will my CSC be reset so I won't be able to use Samsung Pay anymore? And also, where can I find firmware for the watch? I was looking for firmware for some time and I can not find anything( Model: SM-R500).
P.S: I can not update the watch using the wearable app. It says that the software is up to date. The firmware that I used is R500XXU1ASAD which is 4.0.0.3 version of Tizen

Hi, did you find a way to solve this problem. I also have tried everything to "stimulate" the watch or the wearable app to update the Watch, even flashing different versions of the firmware (4.0.0.x, 5.5.0.x), changing the associated Smartphone, resetting, but nothing, it remains stuck to the version it is at, always saying that the software is "up to date"!! What does it look at to determine it??
Thank you to anyone who'll find a solution for this.
P.S. Mine is an LTE model, but without eSIM, for the moment, and I also have just changed the CSC.
P.P.S: Before changing the CSC, the watch did REGULARLY update from Tizen 4.0.0.6 to Tizen 5.5.0.2, through 4 passages. There should be something in the changing process which invalid that...

Hi,
I have a S7 (Canadian) with the following firmware: G930W8VLS4CRH1_G930W8OYA4CRH1_XAC (Oreo 8.0.0)
I need to remove the FRP lock on it, but I am not managing to get the correct combination file for it. All the ones I am getting are FA60 instead of FA70 OR FA80 and the wrong binary.
Can someone help with the right combination file or what can be done to remove the FRP on this.
Thanks
GC
Hello Im waiting on my samsung S7 in the mail. Im very familiar with rooting and android. I own 2 samsung tablets the Tab A and the S2. Ive never heard of a combination file. Could you explain to me do I need this file to flash roms or anything? I dont really understand what its for could you tell me what its for and if I need it. Thank you
I have the G930F international unlocked coming I don't know what region or firmware it's on. It's supposed to be new returned condition. I have had them lie before on eBay and say it was new and when I get it there's already been a firmware update like my S2 tablet was on nougat so I'm thinking it'll probably be the same thing this time. Im hoping it's still on marshmallow firmware when I get it. Can I update with different region firmware? I'm American so I was going to flash Oreo BTU United kingdom. But thanks for the help. Yes help me out I
What's the u1 and he mean also?
On 8.0 you cannot use combination to reset frp anymore must use service box
Hello everyone,
I have bought a used Samsung Galaxy S8+ from China. I have been using it for a few days and i havent noticed anything odd. I don't know the phones origin or for how long has it been used before I got it.
It is running on Android 7.0 (Nougat). Since this is an older version of android I've been thinking to update it to Android 8.0 (Oreo). But I know that the phone doesn't have the originl ROM installed on it since I am not able to update it from the settings app and I also noticed that Knox was tripped in Odin mode.
This is the part which confuses me: if i enter Odin download mode there is a section which tells you your model number, and for me it says SM-G955N but if I look at the back of the phone or in the settings app it says SM-G955FD.
I was planning to download custom ROM and just simply install it via Odin app on my pc.
I'm just worried that I don't mess up something on my phone since the model numbers don't match up. How do I install any software update from this point and does the missmatching model number influence it?
I would very much appreciate anyones help, thanks.
A while back i had tried installing the android pie update for my samsung s8+ in canada and of course it did not work. As always samsung takes 100000 years to put out an update and its still not here. Anyways i havent received any updates since and my software version is probably not right. I was wondering if it will automatically update when android pie comes out or if it wont update at all. Also the device security isnt working so thats a bad thing thats why i want to try and revert it. Thanks, sorry for the unclarity if any.

And the software for which version did you flash exactly? I assume you have a G955W variant? If so then it should be as easy as downloading the latest firmware from fw.updato.com or search Google for Samfirm and use it to download the latest firmware for your phone. Flash via Odin and it should be back to normal.

Hi guys,
My GW4 classic 46mm is still on GVI3 firmware with Sept 1 patch and luckily I didn't update to GVK3.
I read all the misery that came with this firmware update and also the GVK4 version.
However, the GVK7 version is out now and seems to have solved the bricking issue, so I want to try that version to install.
But my phone and watch keep saying I need to install the GVK3 version.
Is there a way I can get rid of the GVK3 version, so I can check for the GVK7 version and install that one ?
A
Can you maybe write correct Model Name?
Example...
SM-R880 or something like this...
My adventure with SM-R860 and GVH2 to prevent GVI3.. ended with Brick...
So I was forced to be wimpy... and Samsung repaired my SM-R860...
B
Are you able to detect your valid active set CSC?
Example...
I set my SM-R860 to Germany and then active CSC is:
DBT
Best Regards
I took the change and updated to GKV4.
Luckily the watch still started and I could update immediately to GKV7 as well.
Watch not bricked = me happy
