I just bought a Huawei P40 pro but the firmware is 10.1.0.154 is there a method for downgrading without risk of brick it ? i didn't find any method that working with hisuite.

I can confirm that 154 seems to be resistant to the proxy intercept.

3º - I know that to indicate another problem but, it gives a solution for the downgrade and for me this method worked,
4º - He have all the links for the programs you need to downgrad from 10.1.0.154 to 10.1.0.131,
5º - You have to do exactly the steps is doing,
6º - You have to use HISUITE PROXY to.

Hi, can anyone explain to me why the Proxy app won't run at all. I tryed installing newest and some older Hisuite. Tryed run as admin. Or not to run HiSuite when it installs. But whenever I try to run HiSuite Proxy it just shows on mouse cursor for few sec that it is loading,but no window shows up.
Anyone knows a solution ?

Yes sir. I downgraded, installed GMS, then updated to the latest version and GMS still works.
the method doesn't work for me, tried the German and the Spanish video, when I press Update HiSuite give the error that there is no Internet connection?
I'm trying this version to downgrade from Emui 11 beta but when I do it tells me I'm on the latest version. I've used it before to rollback to .131 to install GMS with no problems. Has anyone used this method to rollback from Beta 11?

Hi, have you made sure you used the HiSuite 10.1.0.550 version? It won't work if you are using a higher version

To install GSM I downgraded my P40 lite from Emui 10.0.1.236 all way down to Emui 10.0.1.108 using Firmware Finder, Hisuite proxy and Hisuite Itself.
Now after installing google, I want to update the phone to 10.0.1.236 again, but it says that the older version is the newest in the updates menu. I tried to reinstall Hisuite, tried to update with the Hisuite proxy and Firmware Finder and with builtin updater in the phone. But still... I can't update my system.
If someone knows some way to reactivate the updates on the phone please reply to this thread

Was in the same situation. Tried multiple old firmwares with hisuite proxy, and they downloaded and worked just fine, but couldn't upgrade from them.
Finally found a suggestion on a German forum that worked.
Using the OTG software install method, download a firmware from easy-firmware(dot)com and install that. Be very careful what software you donwnload as you could brick your device.
This worked for me, installed version 144 for my P40 Pro Plus, got immediately a software update notification to 156. Delayed that, done the GMS install, restarted, updated to 156, and then, because I was in thebeta, updated to EMUI 11. All good.
Please be aware that the site is requiring money for the downloads, and that I am in no way affliated with them. It's your own decision what to do

Did you ever figure it out? My p40 lite is doing the same thing on 10.0.1.108 as well
OTG install a complete firmware. There is no other way.
Working perfectly ever since I wrote the previous post, upgraded from the Emui11 beta to the final without issues.

Will this remove the Googlefier install ?
Yeah, you have to completely reset and erase the phone, flash the oldest firmware you can find through OTG, then after booting stop the automatic updates from settings.
Then apply Googlefier and after everything is working fine, only then update.
I had a hard time finding the firmware files for OTG, maybe you're luckier.
So basically, I have 10.0.1.108 installed currently with Googlefier installed.. I'm not able to update the emui via hisuite/proxy, fails the install. So then I need to do OTG install of a fullota emui and then reinstall Googlefier? I guess anything newer than .108 should be ok?
Yes, but be careful, try picking an older software, or you won't be able to use Googlefier. It fails with the latest updates, so your best bet is install it on an older one and then update.
A reinstall of your version 108 or something a bit newer should work.

Hey man. I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately, I don't think we are able to downgrade to a lower version. So, we are stuck without Google. The only negative of not having GMS is the delay or no notifications coming in at all. Hopefully apps will be updated to work well with HUAWEI notification eco system.

Well, after multiple attempts using different firmware versions, the update fails after it has reached the 100% download. Have no clue what else to do. Firewalls are off, antivirus off. Anybody?

I followed this guide: Make sure those selections matches your phones need (region, etc..). If they don't match,..you know what might happen.

I did the downgrade from 11.0.0.0 to 10.1.0.135, region c605, i already updated in OTA to 11.0.0.194 and still no usb

Try restore to the factory settings on 194

just literally done latest ota update to 194 was 4.8gb in size and after reboot mtp working and all apps are fine ie google apps

Never. Huawei made changes on the firmware to dont downgrade anymore to 10.1 and so. If the downgrade will be available again in HiSuite, I think it would be till this version (19x), not bellow.

Sorry, the only solution for me was the update via OTA, after some updates the USB comes back normal

i´ve downgrade my P40 Pro C432 from 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.176 via the last HisuiteProxy and Hisuite 10.1.0.550 with the right Preload and Cust. The USB connection works without problems.
After that you could downgrade to 121 or 131 via Dload Method

I have a question you use Hisuite 10.1.0.550 to downgrade EMUI 11 specifically 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.176 as far as I know, Hisuite 10.1.0. i have done many times report cant support installing on phone, how did you downgrade from EMUI 11 to EMUI 10 with Hisuite 10.1.0.550 please let me know thanks,

I have install the Hisuite 10.1.0.550 on my PC. Then i connect the P40 and Hisuite. Usualy he installed an version of the Hisuite App on the Phone. If the connention is ok, then you couldt close the Hisuite on the PC and on the P40. After that you start the Hisuite Proxy and look on the firmfinder.ml site for the correct base, cust and preload Firmware and press on add Rom. After that, press setup on the Hisuite Proxy and an log console is opening. After he is finishing, in the Console writes, that you could proceed with the installation. Then open the Hisuite on you pc, connect it with you P40 an press on the update button. In this time in the debug console of the Hisuite Proxy must you seen some links for the Firmware.
Sometimes you need activate the USB Debugging on the phone. Usually i reset the phone before the downgrade and set up it only with my wifi settings.

Why don't you downgrade to 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.121 or 131 but have to downgrade to 10.1.0.176 and then use dload to downgrade, instead of directly downgrade on Hisuite

Because you lost the USB connectionand fastcharge when you directly downgrade to .131 from EMUI 11.
When you downgade from 11.0.0.193 to 10.1.0.176 with Hisuite and Hisuite Proxy the USB Connection will remains.

How do you know if you downgrade from 11.0.0.193 to 10.1.0.176, the USB will still work or is it a coincidence when you choose the downgrade version?

Because i have done this kind of downgrade a couple of times and the USB Connection works after it.
The downgrade was official avalible till 11.0.0.176 Firmware via Hisuite. At this time Hisuite makes an downgrade to the 10.1.0.176 and then you could downgrade to .121 or .131 via Dload or Hisuite Proxy. That is the reason, why i tested it and the result was an working USB Connection.

Hi, I have been trying to find a way to downgrade my phone from EMUI12 12.0.0.218 to EMUI11 11.0.0.260, but I am unable to find the EMUI11 11.0.0.260 version. I have searched for most of the other post too but cannot seem to find a way to downgrade this to 11.0.0.260. Downgrading to other versions just shows “Software install failed” and I can only press restart. From what I have seen here(https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...cussion-support.4346741/page-19#post-86174321), only downgrading to 11.0.0.260 can be done.

After reading many Threads i have now the Build number 11.0.0.180 which could be downgrade.
Now i try to flash 10.1.0.178 and 10.1.0.131 but nothing works.
Every Tutorial to use Proxy failed because i can not install the HiSuite Version they want.

I wanna flash a lower Version to install google services.

OTA i update to 11.0.0.230 and get my usb connection and fastboot back. Then downgrade with proxy to 10.1.0.154 = works
But how i come from this Version to 10.1.0.131 to install Google.
With 10.....154 and 10.....176 odb isnt working.

Hello, I need help. I have a Huawei Mate Xs and I'm currently on EMUI 12.0.0.290. A month ago, I downgraded to EMUI 11 and then to EMUI 10. Now, after a month, when I try the same downgrade (absolutely the same version of the system, using the same method), the lowest I can go is EMUI 11.0.0.168. When I try to roll back to EMUI 10, any version, the device goes into bootloop and nothing helps (delete cache memory, factory reset). The only way is System Recovery via HiSuite Proxy on EMUI 11 and that's it. Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there a chance that Huawei will put some sort of ban on it with the 12.0.0.290 update

the problem was when i downgrad to emui 11...186 i lost usb connection and i try many versions ( 11 or 10) to downgrad but no results so i update it to emui 11...260 then i try with Hisuite it worked to downgrad to emui 10....131
and after installing GMS i upgrade it to emui 12 step by step by wifi
