[MIUI11] Best Battery Life for Mi 10 xiaomi.eu V11.0.25.0.QJBCNXM - Xiaomi Mi 10 Guides, News, & Discussion

I use my global version of Mi 10 for 2 months. I updated MIUI 12 as soon as I received. My Screen on Time (SoT) is about 5-6 hours on MIUI 12 in one day, using Whatsapp, Instagram, Opera, Clash of Clans, Spotify and bank apps. I decided to downgrage MIUI 11, so I flash the most stable version of MIUI 11 (xiaomi.eu V11.0.25.0.QJBCNXM). My Screen on Time (SoT) is about 10-11 hours on MIUI 11 now in two days. Here is my consumption values:

Anyone tested ( Except Mackay53) !!!! It's so wired i don't think that the difference between MIUI 11 and MIUI 12 in battery consumption is so high! sceryavuz must done something wrong in MIUI 12 or not doing some in MIUI 11!

are we still having a ****ty battery life?

Question about AOD on SGS 6

Hi everyone,
I hope I didn´t post this in wrong part of forum
Today I found out about AOD service when browsing on Sammobile.com apk directory ( http://www.sammobile.com/apk/aodservice/ )
In description it says that one version it is for SGS 7 and 6 but whenever I installed it it keep crashing
Where ever I searched, I couldn´t find any information about this service or thoes it work somehow on SGS 6
I hope someone here could know something more?
Thanks
It works with Noble rom and the tn2009 Kernel. But trust me, it sucks way too much battery!
So, it´s not possible to run it on stock ROM? I don´t mind if it uses more battery
I looked everywhere to find any information about this AOD service but nothing
I hoped it would work because Samsung released and it says SGS 7 and 6
Anybody knows will Samsung give it in Nougat update maybe?
Use tn2009 ROM and TN kernel to use AOD
Doesn't use that much battery, since s6 already has a pretty bad battery life lol
AOD drain ~1.5% per/hour

you are kidding?
9 hours with AOD on at work time, 40% battery left with always 4G/WIFI, BT on, phone calls, ~1:3hour SOT. 9*5=45%, so how could it be?
I'm with AOD from first release day

You loose 5% per hour on ports. Trust me
I can confirm 5% drain/h on Note 7 port. But it's a nice feature, for now I think it's worth the drain. As long as there's a charger near by.

First photo without AOD, 4G, WIFI, BT on, phone call, till 17 h.
Second photo with AOD (8hours), 4G, WIFI, BT on, phone call, till 16 h. Ok, at 17h could be 50%. 60%-50% = 10%, so, where is 5% drain per hours for AOD?
Well, turn on AOD. Leave screen of 1h. Takes 5%.
Turn of AOD. Leave screen of 1h. Takes 1-2%.
Easy.
Noble Note 7 port, tn_2009 kernel - 2% on 30 mins so 4% per hour...

Battery drain

Hi guys. So that's various posts. I have implemented all the settings to save battery.
But is it normal in your opinion that with 1 hour of Facebook I have consumed about 15% of the battery? from 100 to 85%.
Thanks
I was experiencing the same i always had to enable battery Saving mode and it does drain the Battery too much i think what worked for me somehow was permission ruler and a pixel experience rom
Please specify ROM as well as battery usage graph.
I get 13.6 hours SoT on my Poco X3 (India).
Fully stock ROM.
I am using Pixel Experience Plus Rom + Greenify + Permision ruler Somehow permision ruler is very good at saving battery and how do i get that graph but MIUI was very bad at the same conditions

100-85% is not normal. You should lose only about 3-7% in an hour. Unless you are watching a lot of videos inside Facebook.
8-10 hours is normal Screen On Time for Poco X3 NFC so if you are getting that much you shouldn't worry.
Thanks!
Maybe I need to force some updates? I don't want to put a new rom and lose the guarantee. It's new ..

What ?! I am using brand new Poco for like 20 days after years of using Samsungs, last one was Galaxy A6+ and now on poco my SoT barely can hit 5 hours and half with normal use, no gaming, above below brightness.. I need some advices then...
If yours is the NFC version your battery is significantly smaller than the Indian version, so don't expect the same SoT.
NFC = 7-9 Hours SoT
X3 India = 10-13 Hours SoT
Things you can do to get better battery.
1: Disable recommendations in all MIUI bloat. (Open each MIUI system app, press settings, disable recommendations. Some of these are cleverly hidden.)
2: Revoke authoriation of all MIUI apps. (Setrings, Authorization and Revocation)
3: Use 60Hz Display.
4: Use Lite versions of apps especially junk apps like Facebook and Messenger.
5: Keep all apps up to date. One in Play store, and second in System Apps Updater.
6: Use Samsung Browser + Ad Block instead of Chrome.
7: Keep your phone up to date in terms of OS.
Screen on time

Read the comments here and see how the different versions stack up. Also you can see average usage of other people who are getting anywhere between 5-13 SoT.
With the right settings they can make it go to 10 Hours. All the settings are given by each person and what they used to improve battery.

Question Does my device has battery drain?

Hello, I have about 6 weeks with the Poco X3 Pro. And my battery last less than 2 days with a moderate uso.

Which version of MIUI are you using. Also I cant really help without seeing which apps are consuming what percentage of battery . So include a ss of that if you can. Also 2 days on moderate usage seems pretty good. Also I dont know how you are using your phone. But I get a day worth of charge and 8 hours +- SOT playing game and social media. So, I think it is okay.
Thanks.
I have MIUI 12.5.1.0 (RJUEUXM), and the device is the one with 8 GB of RAM.
I don't play games on this device, no facebook or twitter, only a little of reddit and tumblr. The screen bright is auto.
I charged it 17 hours ago to the 93%. And this is the status of battery now:

The graph looks fine.
100+ hours that is probably referring standby.
Your mobile signal is not quite good, so it will use more battery.

Looks okay to me. Nothing unusal. But if you are not satisfied try debloating it or maybe switching to a custom rom

I always wondered, does debloating help with battery and if yes, how much? For example, Xiaomi analytics eats 13% of my battery.

This is my first Xiami device. Which apps do you recommend debloat. In case of custom rom which one is better for my device.
I suggest to install ad blocker like Blokada. One of suggested list in Blokada has a filter for Xiaomi addresses. I got an impression, that battery drain decreased after activating Blokada, but I didn't test if for long. I already removed MIUI.

Xiaomi mi 11 gaming rom

Hi guys, excuse me if my English is a bit weird but I speak French so here it's google translate speaking. I recently bought a Xiaomi mi 11 and since I'm a call of duty mobile fan, I handed my phone over to a friend to do some touch ups on the phone to boost the power. He rooted the phone today, he says he is looking for a good rom for the phone, but I also decided to do some research on my side and ended up coming across your page. What do you think is the best xiaomi mi 11 rom, I need a powerful rom that can handle games well, won't consume too much power, but won't give me problems for online payments or other . Thanks a lot

Best rom for this would be a debloated stock rom. Stock rom usually have amazing stability and already running at great speeds. Debloat the rom using adb debloater, flash a custom kernel and root, use a app to overclock your phone and it should give you more fps in said game. Also, stock rom doesn't have a problem with safetynet or cts profile checks. Also, don't make the mistake of playing the game while it charges. That literally kills your battery life.
Okay i see, thank you so much. I will tell my friend to do what you said

Question xiaomi 13 8/256Gb

First impression.
Very friendly in size, screen, handling.
MIUI 14 Android 13.0.9 update. Interesting in many ways, but more difficult to discover the properties in the setup than MIUI 13.
Apparently the same problems in the older MIUI configuration. (Difficult to change the MIUI system launcher or cancel the apk download from unauthorized sources, for example)
Chinese apks almost all uninstallable.
Google play pre-installed, Chrome installable, Maps, Google One.
Fast wireless charging
A very good phone, a bit expensive, but much better than the xiaomi 12.
Unlock in 7 days.

An FHD+ screen on a device of this price is a bit of an overkill.
12 pro WQHD+, LTPO (Low Temperature PolySilicon oxide).

Oh, I see. Thanks.
I had the Xiaomi 12 and found that to be an excellent device with very few flaws in my eyes. The only thing I missed was a flat screen. Purchased my Xiaomi 13 12gb 256gb storage from china. Only issue I have found so far was that it has taken a bit of setting up to get the majority of google services on there and working. So far the only thing that does not work is google assistant via voice recognition.
