How to root sony xperia U
Friend recently i buyed sony xperia U phone,iam entirely new to android rooting i have two doubts regarding my device :
1) How to update android ginger bread(2.3) to icecream sandwich(4.0)..?
recently i buyed sony xperia U phone on which android version ginger bread is installed...
i want to upgrade to icecream sandwich(4.0)...so can i know the complete procedure to upgrade my phn android software to iceream sandwich..
is all phones have a common procedure to upgrade..?
2) How to root my device..?
I wil be very thankfull to u if u can solve my problem bro.....
i searched this all over internet and on many sites but now of them were able to answer my questions..im completly hoping u can..
please do reply ur valuable advices and suggestions to this email..

TIPO DUAL ( experienced Users Plzz Help)

Hello !! To all... Presently i on samsung galaxy y5360.But in 3-4 days i wll gt tipo dual..
So basically i m noob in this xperia forum. So I wanted to knw some info about dual(only for dual)
I knw there r many threads regarding my questions bt there is no thread which is only for tipo dual. Can some one Give me all stuff of tipo dual in this thread??
Like :- How to root tipo dual , bootloader ,fully Working customrom for dual , themes etc.
All stuff which is only for dual. I think this kind of thrad help many noobs like me...
So i m w8tng for some experienced tipo dual user who can help me :thumbup: :thumbup:

There are threads specifically about rooting the Dual, unlocking bootloader works like every other xperia (especially in this range). For now there are only themes that replace stock ones, except the themes in Miui or CM10 based ROMs. There are no 100% stable ROMs yet. There are some which are quite stable, but main thing is there are almost no (good) ROMs for the Dual version of the Tipo yet.
The best option is still using the search function. Good luck!

I knw dude there a many threads bt my req is i want all things in one place... Like for tipo and miro have seprate thread.

[Q] How to Root Sony ericsson Xperia Neo with Android Version 4.0.4

i tried to root my sony ericsson xperia neo of android version 4.0.4 using different tools but i was unsuccessful where in the superuser app is not appearing..then i came to know their is a different procedure to root the 4.0.4 version phone..can anyone plse help me with this ...so that am planning to install CyanogenMod 10 on my phone .....
plse help me with the steps of how do i carry out this entire process untill i get cynogenmod 10 installed..

Try this Software!
If u r on any stock ROM try this software Eroot 1.3.4 (Google it and you will get dev hosted download link )
Connect your cell with MSC and Debugging ON and press root button. Your cell will be rooted in few minutes.
If you are not on stock ROM , then mostly all custom ROMs are pre-rooted . Even if they aren't search superuser.zip and flash via CWM your cell will be rooted in no time

[Q] Can I use a SS baseband on my Xperia E Dual

Good Night everybody,
I'm new at the forum and i didn't found anything abaout my "problem".
I have a Xperia E Dual, C1604 with Stock JB [4.1.1]
I used to use both Sim card's, but now i only use one.
I want to put CM in my phone becouse it's so much better, but last time i've tried, i got a bug that desctivate both card's.
My doubt is: Can i install a baseband for SS in my phone and it will work normally with one sim or am i condemned to use DS BB for ever?
If it's possible, wich one you guys recomend me to use with CM10

Xperia J 11.2.A.0.21 upgraded to KIT KAT w/ CM11 but No Mobile Network..

Hi, dear experts here, I'm new here, I tried to do unlock bootloader, rooting & finally today i upgraded it to kit kat 4.4.4 w/ CM11 on my old Xperia J, most of it, I do able to do it bcoz i watch & learn from urs posts, thanks!!
Everything seems okay but once it boot up after installed both CM11 ROM zip & Gapps zip, only to find that it has no mobile network, Mean cannot call or use mobile data at all..
Can anyone pls help me here??

If I remember correctly you need to have ics stock rom so the net will work (it was long ago so search for this through XJ forum)
Where did you get CM11 for XJ?
Isn't there instructions how to flash and what?
