Developer options shows 11 GB - Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Questions & Answers

The developer options on my Note 20 Ultra reports 11 GB total memory while my old Note 10 Plus shows 12.GB. Can you guys please confirm that this is the case with the Note 20 Ultra and that I did not receive a defective phone? Thanks.

Would like this too.. but how did they do it on Mate 8, was it default like this or a mod?
I just tried this on my Mate 9 Pro, the SIM2 is 3G and SIM1 is 4G, make phone call on SIM2, but then data on SIM1 is not possible.. I thought maybe SIM2 would need to be connected on 2G only for it to allow 3G/4G data on SIM1, but we cannot use 2G on our phones here (they turned off the network) so cannot test at all..

Mate 8 was originally stock DSFA (dual sim full active 2 party conversation at the same time )
Mate 9 is originally DSSB (Dual sim stand by only 1 party conversations every time)
It's impossible to make a phone full active if it was not originally stock or if there isn't exactly the same model (deferent version) that handle it...

You need different hardware for dual SIM active.
Is there hardware can bulid to work
Doubt it, not something that a diy -er would be able to do anyway.

dude, can you please provide the exact answer from the xiaomi represantative? because there is nowhere on the internet the information you just said and spreading false information is not ok.
Unlocking a xiaomi bootloader has a duration between 72h and 360h but that min of 72h is never achieved....

This is only for the poco f1. Other phones will still take more time!
Sent from my Galaxy S7 using XDA Labs
Do you guys think they will release up to date and complete kernel sources within a very short period of time of release of the Mi Mix 3 ?
My new mi mix2s has 720hr waiting time, so likely to be the same
Wonder what it's going to be, 720hr would be a real killer. 72hr would be ok
Anyone has more information?
The time limit is to stop resellers taking the Chinese variant and putting global ROM then selling it as the global variant without the proper bands. Not sure why it's so long though a bit of a joke.

So, what happens if you just buy a Global Version from Amazon ? Shouldn't you be able to get Xiaomi to drop the waiting time a bit ?

What does where u buy it from have to do with anything?
so regardless of the version (china or global) you'd have to wait 720hr?

If I'm not buying a Chinese variant from a reseller, then this restriction would make no sense.

I believe it's changed now you have to join GitHub channel and you get instant unlock, unless that's just for old photos. I was helping someone get rid of vendor ROM which he'd had for 18 months, no updates, he unlocked instantly.

Any way to read the new battery usage on Note 10 - Android 10.0

Hi,
I've updated the Note 10 to Android 10 (One UI 2.0). Now the battery usage reader looks weird. I can't exactly tell how much SOT i've had.
Any idea how to read it?

I'm not sure what you are talking about here. I have the Note 10 (not 10+) and if you look under the "Jan 04" on the screen shot, you will see "Screen On Time: 58 m" in the image provided. Scrolling on my screen shows what apps are using the battery and the percentage of use

How to get Beta

Hi all,
Just picked up a Note 20 Ultra snapdragon and want to get the beta for android 11. Went to the members app, logged in, but am not seeing any options. Is it closed? Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Hi,
I have seen everywhere and it says 120Hz E4 AMOLED Display and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. But no where i can find it is 8 bit or 10 bit panel.
Can any one clarify this. How does the display quality compare to "Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G "
Hi I wanted to know how many software and security updates are supported for this phone?
