Did anyone switch from OB17 to the latest stable? Did you lose your internal storage? Updater tells me I won't

[Q] Internal Storage Partitions mixed

After flashing the new eaglesblood 2.3.7 update, my internal Storage is 1.48GB and the unusable additional storage is 5.22GB when it should be the other way around. Can someone please help? I can't even restore my backups updates because it just says MD5 mismatch. (I'm also sort of new to this so the only thing I know how to do is flashing properly)
You need to fix md5 files using adb

[Q] Rom question.

I've had issues with my internal storage being full. That being said, I was wondering if I can remove the rom (Beans Build 10) from my internal storage. Reminder, I have already flashed the rom and need to clear up storage, I have always been curious if I can remove the rom from storage after i have flashed it. Will there be any issues regarding performance/ stability by removing the rom from storage, or is the rom only needed on the device to flash?

You need a file manager like root explorer and navigate to storage/sdcard0/download and delete it. Well not affect performance but you won't have a fallback ROM to flash if something screws up.

No issues deleting it after you flashed. You should keep a copy of your ROM and a backup on external storage, microSD cards are dirt cheap and they can save your butt. It also allows you to do a full wipe which is recommended by many ROMs.

Lineage OS 14.1- Feb 13Th '17- Issue with Internal Storage

Hi Everyones,
After Clean flashing the ROM, Everything works flawlessly but my Internal memory has now become internal shared storage and I'm not able to access my old music files and few other files on my computer which were previously there before Lineage OS. But I can see them on my file manager. What do I do? Kindly help
Also, Camera HRD and Phone Gestures dont work, I'm assuming they'll fix that issue in the further OTA updates.

Clean-Flashing a new ROM

Hi, After using sultan's 6.0CMod ROM for quite a while I'm looking for something newer (perhaps RR's or something similar)
I want to completely delete my internal storage before installing and since int's been a long time since the last time I installed a new ROM from scratch I wanted to ask:
After deleting internal storage through TWRP's recovery, will my phone unroot/return to Cyanogen recovery?
If not: do I simply delete internal storage --> put the ROM file & GApps on the SD card --> go to recovery- wipe system, data etc --> install the ROM ?
or am I missing something
thanks

Why you want to clean internal storage?
Clean flashing doesn't needs cleaning of internal storage.

New ROM and internal storage

Hi there,
Just a small question: When I install a custom ROM, does it keep my data on the internal storage? I'm asking because of the encryption and I thought it could happen, that the new/custom ROM is not able to decrypt this part of the data.
Thanks
I haven't done enough flashing on my Pixel to say with certainty one way or another, but I believe it does keep the internal storage data between ROM flashes just fine. However, I don't fool with anything but PureNexus as far as custom ROMs, so it might depend on what ROM you're coming from and going to. I never flash anything major without backing up internal storage, anyway, and that's what I would suggest. After all, for every rule there's always an exception and it's better not to regret. Good luck!

You should stick to stock.
