Is there a way to hide the hole punch to make it look like the notch on LG phones? Or, even better, make the whole top a black status bar? On my OP6T I could hide the notch and the notifications and status bar would remain on each side; on Samsung phones it pushes everything down, which is stupid design choice.

That is not what I'm looking for. Those options do not even come close to the design I'm asking about.
I'm looking for something that does this: https://cnet3.cbsistatic.com/img/Q4...-41d3-9ab4-8038153cde29/lg-v60-thinq-9354.jpg

That isn't what I want. I thought I was pretty clear what I was looking for. I even mentioned the default setting in the OP and how dumb it is because it pushes the status bar and notifications down. Look at the pictures I posted above your comment.

I found an app that works. It's called Nacho Notch and it's pretty neat. You can black out the hole punch and keep the status bar and notifications on each side, and it can black out the navigation bar. It also lets you customise the corners. It's a pretty awesome app which so far is bug free. Not sure if it will drain battery or not as I just started using it 15 minutes ago.

When you said wall I thought you meant wallpaper. I know what you mean now.
I personally do not like pitch black themes, but prefer dark themes. I use Hex installer. I haven't tried substratum in a long time. Has it improved over the past year? The last time I used it i always had issues with certain things not theming properly. Hex Installer works really good and is pretty powerful when it comes to what you can do with it.

James, when you make the tabs for the flip clocks, you need to be as precise as possible or they will fall apart like that screeny. Especially for the landscape support. They need to be shaped like the whole tab behind it. So much that it looks like one solid image, till it flips.

hey man, awesome to see that you may have a fix for those first ones! i totally love the transparency bottom part of the clock (location, the temperature etc) like with the black one...any chance you could make ALL of those ones you have skinned with that transparent background too? i'm diggin the two new ones you did, but i love the transparent part. looking forward to using that black inverted one again once you get the kinks worked out!!
So, I have had some requests for my real icon themed camera to be a separate install. So, I decided, maybe more people would want it that werent really interested in my whole theme. It has been confirmed to work on Synergy and Bean but I suspect it should work on any TouchWiz Rom camera since it is the stock cam mod.

Exactly what you'd expect, a quick dissolving effect when you go to the home screen, switch between apps etc.
Ha ha ha lets turn off the animation efects and this will make the phone faster...This make phone more ugly because you torn off visual efects, and nothing about overall procesor and work speed.NOTHING!
Wrong. I prefer the look without the animations and it does in fact make the phone much more responsive which is all good because lag sucks and that fix along with killing the S-voice on the home key makes the phone a whole lot better to live with.
I prefer them off. Much snappier. Thanks.

I'm glad this guy figured it out.
What's really interesting is that despite the tons of other threads about disabling transitions in developer options, he someone managed to make his phone 10 times faster than all of those! And it's even quoted in the thread title like the absolutely factual factoid that it is! Win!
Plus, as an added bonus, rather than simply making a duplicate thread with text, that takes only a few seconds to disregard, this is a link to Youtube... Quality all around.

Stock auto brightness can be too dim/bright at times. This allows you to tweak the auto brightness to your liking.

You can customize what brightness levels your screen automatically sets for a given ambient light level (for example by default my screen is too bright at night or too dim during the day). But there are a lot more features than that there's a "Night Mode" which will adjust your screen color temperature to a warmer color temp at night (studies have shown exposure to blue light at night can mess with your circadian rhythm and ruin your sleep. There's also an "Astronomer mode" that puts a red overlay on your screen to preserve your night vision.

It also allows you to go lower than the lowest stock brightness (might require root?). I've found on many phones that the lowest brightness is still way too bright for certain environments.
Here are my current settings, it's going to take a while before I have then perfected but this is a start.

The broke part is not the time to live again, it is the simple fact that the clock or whatever widget is in the circle is black. To be specific the circle information needs to be on/displayed when the case is closed. I have had paid Lux across 3 phones and love it. Smart Window on Oppo works fine with Lux. Hope it can be fixed on G3.

I now have the case and see the issue, a workaround is to quickly open the case and close it again brightening it up.
I cannot see how it can be fixed though, the issue is the light sensor is being covered so it's keeping the display dark.
I suppose via a special setting we could set a default value for 0 lux?
Edit: I just emailed the Dev to see if there is anything he can do to help us.

Does it makes any difference with the battery backup?

Nope :good:
yeah this is a great app, i used to use with my OP3/3T and u r correct, its even better with the 5T
I actually just flashed 8.0 AOSP and am liking the non-rounded corners since it's showing the entire screen. Maybe I'll go back to rounded corners eventually, but nothing more rounded than stock.
I installed rounded corners the moment I got my hands on my 5T
Makes the phone look premium like S8 and Pixel
I have been using this app since quite some time

Where did you get that from? I would really love to run stock android 8, but haven't been able to find anything good yet?

could you take a picture of your actual phone with this mod? or a very short YouTube video so I can see what the whole phone actually looks like? I'm very curious!
thx,
vercetti.
For me the stock rounded look very premium. Not to round just a bit is great.

OmniRom. It's in the development section and works very well!
So much people praising this but no pictures to back it up (apart from one, but still).
Why would you want to do this to your 5T anyway?
