According to this post you will have to flash SuperSu. But that was for the Mi3. Sometimes it is as easy as turning it on in Developer Options.
At any rate, please create an account so you can post in other forums. Can then ask this question in the > Xiaomi Mi 4 > Mi 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum. Your device experts can be found there.

hi ive just updated my lenovo k3 note to android 6 , now i wanna root it , but i dont have the suitable recovery fo that ive tried installing old recovery that was for the previous android i think and i bricked my phone but i recovered my phone and now its having new update android 6 please help me about the custom recovery fo that so i can root my phone

I have Coolpad note 5 specifications wise same as moto g4 plus.
I have try almost all available rooting method ( without pc, with pc ) but nothing worked for me.
Please help developers.
I don't have twrp or any custom recovery. I have only stock recovery IMG.
