I've pre ordered the Spigen GLAS t.R NANO SLIM Glass Screen protector from Spigen ebay. I have one on my Note 3 and it works really well.
i did not use any protect,maybe i should get one

I bought a Nillkin glass screen protector from taobao. It is smooth and easy to stick on screen. But it is not very well in anti-fingerprints.

Sweet, I didn't even know glass screen protectors exist.
I've discovered that pressing down on the center of the screen on my LG G Pro 2 will create pressure distortions on the screen itself so I'll definitely be getting one of these.

i believe you need to get "matte" type, instead of "clear"
just search on ebay, many and cheap as USD2 for 3x
but with matte the brightness will be reduced
Nilkin Glass Protect
I've been using my Honor 8 for the past 5 months now and I've never dropped my phone at all. I'm currently using a back cover that came with my phone and no screen protector and additional protection. If I drop my phone now will it survive a fall without damage? Also do need to buy a screen protector or the 2.5D gorilla glass is strong enough?

I have the same if not very similar case. I have dropped it and it really depends if you are lucky or not your phone cracks. Mine hasn't. No screen protector, some miniscule scratches though only seen if put into light like the sun.
Buy a tempered glass
screen protector or tempered glass wont protect the phone screen from cracking if the phone falls to its sides especially on the corner points. only a proper case can absorb the impact of a fall and usually cracking itself in the process if the force is too strong.
current smartphones normally equipped with scratch resistant screen. knife or keys wont scratch it at all but a tiny speck of sand trapped between the screen and another surface (desk, table etc) can easily does the job. if you always put your phone face down on the table then a screen protector is a must have.

Sometime, even with protection, it cracks from a small drop, it's about luck sometimes.

Yea my friend dropped his S7 Edge face down on tiles and it didn't break....

My friend had the opposite situation, he just hit a wall accidentally (light bump) and he found his S7 edge cracked from the back.
It depends on the angle of impact. The corners are usually the weakest point. Even worse for bezeless phones like the s8
Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up upgrading to a Spigen Rugged Armour case and a tempered glass screen protector. Unfortunately the screen protector I bought from a local market for 3 dollars doesn't cover up the entire screen.

Yea..... But anyway my new cover has a lip on the screen so I'm not really worried about breaking this phone now since if I drop it the case and the screen protector will take a beating not the phone itself.

I emailed them and got confirmation they don't have plans to do that
G-COLOR did a full adhesive one for the 7pro, I'll send an email to them and see if they will develop one for the 8pro

Has anyone seen any other tempered glass screen protectors for the Oneplus 8 Pro? Last phone I have is the Oneplus 6, where they sold the screen protectors themselves, but this time around, I don't see one. I also don't know how it would work with the waterfall edges this time.
There's UV glue tempered glass protectors on Aliexpress already.

I've already bought it. Won't be here for a while though. I bought similar ones from Aliexpress for the 7Pro and they were fine.

No idea but don't think so. Don't think it'll affect cam quality though if it doesnt. Do the Whitestone dome ones for other cut out phones? Don't think they do.

Whitestone Dome had cutout for note 10+ and S 20 line.

I would like to know too : I have a G-Color tempered glass on my Huawei P30 Pro and it's great!

Yep, they were the only glass protectors that worked for me on the 7Pro, the non UV glue ones were trash. The soft gel type ones also worked OK.
Just spoke with Whitestone direct they will be Stocking for the Oneplus 8 pro

What sites does Whitestone normally sell on? Did they provide you with an estimated time for when they would have it available?
So how many of you guys have removed it? I noticed the protector shades the screen colours a little. Also attracts dust more like static. I have just removed mine and the screen looks and feels so much better ?

does removing the protector remove the color shift? (Actually I am not sure if there's supposed to be but mine has it)
The stock screen protector is shocking. Scratches so easily. Couldn't wait to take it ogf

it was giving me weird sensation when using gestures and swiping
i have replaced the original with a h9 glassprotector and the fingerprint sensor works fine. ( every finger two times registered )

I'm using the OnePlus tempered glass screen protector. It is very easy to install with a perfect fit. It is the first time that I installed a screen protector without bubbles!
