Bug reports
No support will be given for problems caused by Xposed, MicroGMS, other kernels, Substratum themes, different TWRP, different firmware, other tweaks (build.prop, etc).

1.ROM is based on?
* Roms is Based was AOSP-CAF now its fully rebased to pure CAF with few lineage elements.
2.Supports 4k Video Recording?
* Yes , use SnapCam included in the Project Build.

3. Does VertexOS work with other GApps, TWRPs, firmwares, SU, kernels, tweaks, Viper4Android, etc?
- Please feel free to try, but I may not give support for issues caused.
4. Deep sleep issues?
- Reboot or clean flash.
5. Mobile network issues?
- Toggle airplane mode to see if it fixes the problem. Please check your APN and Preferred Network Type in Mobile Network Settings. If your APN is missing, please share the APN you want me to add.
6. Why is the security patch in "About phone" outdated?
This ROM tracks CAF, which lags behind AOSP by a bit. However, you shouldn't be worried about this because CAF brings in the latest security commits even when the stated security patch level in "About phone" is outdated. Trust me, I've compared the commits of our CAF tag with the latest AOSP branch commits, and also with the Android Security Bulletin. Please just wait patiently for CAF to update the security patch string. I can easily change it and 'cheat' you guys, but I'm never going to do such a thing. So please be patient and know that your device has the security patches.
7. Facing odd drains and issues with apps (message notifications not showing)?
* Stop restoring them with Titanium Backup
* Stop using hacky tweaks
8. Google Play Services drains?
* Clean flash
* Stop restoring everything with Titanium Backup
9. Losing Magisk root?
* Don't enable the BusyBox option
10.Can I dirty flash over previous builds?
* Yes but you may face some issues.
11.Is it Pre-rooted?
* NO.
12.What about Google Assistant?
* Its in the Project by Default.

Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.

1. Battery charging LED not working (no option?)
2. Right side status bar notch area not optimized for icons.
3. Fingerprint vibration feedback is very low and sometimes doesn't recognize?
Although looks more stable and cleaner than other beta ROMs.

I suggest to try havoc Os on last update. Many customisation, tweaks. Battery is also good, but not best(compare with arrow last update) gcam port work front and rear with flash. The issue is general like the others rom, ghost touch. And the cpu clock speed can set up max.up to 2,4ghz which is amazing for me since the others rom can be set max.only up top 1,95ghz. I already try pixel experience almost all arow os, Crdroid, and last this Havoc Os

Note: best arrow os for this phone is arrow 20th February verasion.

For now i am busy in my job . and yes those files are from stock pie stable . The only bug is bt headset audio everything else is working like stock rom . I need time to fix that issue .

First u need to unlock bootloader. Then install a custom recovery like twrp or pitch black etc. There are many tutorial available on YouTube. Then proceed the instruction given on the thread to install the rom.

Can u confirm with double tap to wake. Turn it on. Exit from settings and check whether it's working or not.

Got a bootloop
Clean wipe, flash rom file and then gaaps. (just like usual). Phone successfully boot up and android setup is showed up
I try to login to my google account, but suddenly screen is freezing and my phone is rebooting. unfortunately it's stuck on boot logo after that.
Already tried to wipe cache/dalvik and dirty flash rom file but still not boot up. Anyone facing same issue?

Sorry man i switched rom after that. You know the ambient notification is a must feature right? Also the double tap to wake had a little bit low response. But other than that you work is great. It was very snappy. I pray you'll have a great build next time.

i usually dont encrypt data in custom roms
so i didnt test it yet

I am currently on bootleggers pie sishufied build. I am absolutely loving it.
Will the android 10 will also be shishufied?

I tried latest build and noticed 2 weird things:
1. GSM signal is very low for some reason (on every other 10 rom works just fine)
2. Damn pixel launcer FC like crazy as soon as i enable gesture navigation. On 2 and 3 button navigation works fine.
Didn't managed to get logs this time because i needed fully functional phone and flashed EvoX.
When i get time i will pull out logs.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

Hey there! I've used this ROM for the past couple of days and I can assure you that most things work with no issues. The only one that I've encountered was my banking app (BT Pay) that doesn't work no matter what I do (but, to me, it's alright if I can't install it because it's not a necessity). You might have issues with the camera too, depending if you want to use MIUI camera or Gcam, but you can find more info on that in the buffer fix thread.

This is the smoothest Rom I have used so far.
However I do have a bit of an issue.
Whenever I plug in headphones (with mic and without) the sound cuts out and the phone resets or the headphones make a static noise.
I did a clean flash.
Same thing happened with Evolution on the latest update.
Edit: also, the stereo mod does not work.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply (I've been on a holiday). The ROM has the Live Display option available. And if I recall correctly, the kernel has both of those.

Working well, thanks for your work.
I just have a little problem with rise to wake up. That turns the the phone on at 90 °, it's a bit inconfortable
Édit :After a week of using the rom, I have a random reebok almost every day.
The fod is really bad.
And the phone is waking up in my pocket and doing sh*t

This is the best rom, but until the latest update (0922) the double tap to wake is dead for me.
Update: 20200924 The double tap to wake is perfect.

This problem "plug in headphones" was fixed in this rom ?

The headphones works perfect for me.
