Hello
From begining i had Miui 12 installed on my phone. Looks like that most of the time i have issues with outgoing calls from time to time call drops or no sound from my phone for few seconds. Somrtimes all od fine for 15 minutes but sometimes the problem occure on the beginning. Im wonder ist that could be a software problem or od a hardware. Already did factory reset and chnge preffered network to LTE but no result.
Did you tried toggle for volte ?

I have same problem with the calls on poco f2 pro and miui 12.0.2 installed?
Ther other software would solve the problem or not?For example XEU miui 11 or another version of XEU miui 12?
The current version in the phone is miui 12.0.2 global.
My call problem seems to have been fixed with the new miui 12.0.3.0 update. I have been calling for 3 days since the update and they do not stop any calls.

I send mobile to the Xiaomi service and they exchange motherboard.
From that time all looks fine.

(On LTE). Doesn't work on 3G as well. On 2G, it's fine. But I'm not satisfied.
Current ROM- CM13.0 Unofficial by sultanxda.
But this problem has been there on every ROM I've tried. This problem was not there when I was using a 3G SIM. I've tried switching 4G SIMs but the problem persists. Please help! I want to use LTE and make calls together without changing the settings each time. The signals remain there the rest of the time but it gets disconnected as soon as I make a call. FUN FACT- SMSs work fine. Note- This isn't a ROM problem. I've called the technical support but they just don't know how to handle ****. This is very disappointing.
I'm using an Airtel SIM (India)
Thanks!

Where in India? I use Airtel 4G and never experienced this issue.

In Faridabad (NCR). I just don't know what's wrong. I've tried almost everything.

Airtel doesn't support voice over LTE. But your network should be automatically switching to 2g when a call is made and then back to 4g after the call. There will be no data access during the call except for WiFi.

Try going to a place with a good signal and doing a network scan and select airtel manually instead of automatic.
There's a tower right next to my place, so I always have full connectivity. And I've already tried selecting Airtel. The problem still persists.

If you know how to flash custom baseband/modems, maybe you can see if a different one can fix the problem.
If that doesn't work, then a factory reset is the last resort.
Nope, tried that as well. I perform factory reset every now and then.

Well, I forgot to mention that the issue got resolved automatically after a few days. I don't know what actually fixed it. Maybe jgcaap's ROM, or a complete wipe. But it was fixed. Weird issue.

my question is how to force this device to use 3g only in network mode ??, there is only (auto2g-3g) and when the 3g signal got weak the device is changes the mode to 2g automatically inspite of the availability of the 3g, that option is available in all 13 cellphone I use before but not available here , how can I solve this ? is there in trick to force the device to use 3g and not change the mode to 2g even if the signal is weak ??

You got any issue with VoLTE or Wifi-Calling?
I had this problem. Oddly what solved it was removing the sim and factory reseting then putting the sim back in. Volte finally worked after that. Seems like a bug in OxygenOS

You guys have stable Wifi-Calling connection?
Yes. I've had no issues with T-Mobile WiFi calling. Works fine.
@LandLockedPH T-Mobile US??
Quick update...
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the OP7 (non-Pro).
I'm using a T-Mobile SIM (Sim 1) and AT&T SIM (Sim 2).
I can confirm that I"m getting VOLTE on both SIM's and VOWiFi on the T-Mobile SIM.
Really happy with the device!
I know not band 71 but how about 66?
Vowifi doesn't work on vzw
Does firmware for gm1905 exist? I'm thinking this also opens bands 66 and 71.

I don't think however carrier aggregation works with the op7 and TMobile USA.
I ran a few ookla speed tests compared to my s10+ using mobile data only. Long story short the S10 would average download at approx 90mbps and the OP7 around 35mpbs.
The only way I could get the S10+ to attain similar figures to the OP7 was for me to disable LTE bands 2, 12 and 66 . In essence making it just use just band 4. Then the download speeds were similar.
On side a side note, having wifi calling enabled slowed the tests results further as you can see by the lower earlier results. Attached screen shot.

It would have been nice if there was a clear indicator that one was making a wifi calling is ready. Due to the notch I have disabled a few status bar icons including viofa and Volte. When placing a wifi call I have swipe down to check it it's wifi calling or not lolz

Hi.
Had my Poco F2 Pro for a week or so now but I cannot find the option to disable the wifi from auto-connecting to open networks in MIUI 12.
So, as I'm walking along I'm bombarded by notifications "You are connected to The Cloud", "You are connected to XYZ" etc and I'm repeatedly losing my 4G connection as it's switching to these wifi networks.
I had the same issue with my previous phone, a Umidigi F1 Play, running close to stock Android 9 - but there's an option in the wifi settings to turn it off, as there is on the other 2 even older phones.
Anyone know how to disable this auto-connection? It will drive me mad as the only way to stop it is to manually turn off wifi whenever I leave the house, which is obviously crazy and pretty much a showstopper issue for me.
Thanks!

Difficult to answer because the thread concerns the Poco f2. But this option now exists on the Poco f2. Settings-> Wifi settings-> Wifi assistant
No, there's no such option under assistant.

Has the problem been resolved? I sometimes wonder what the Xiaomi developers think when they disable essential security features.

This is not a problem just an option that no longer exists or not on your rom.
Very well. Is there a workaround?
Change rom.
Hi all,
I have a problem with my mi 10 ultra.
I can't unlock using my sim pin. As you can see in the photo. I have tried multiple sim cards in the MI 10 Ultra. Not one worked. It happened yesterday, before that it worked perfectly. I can fill in my sim code but I can't press on the check mark.

I have tried my sim card in other phones and there does the sim card works.
I have tried factory reset and wiped all my data. It still doesn't work. I've both tried EU rom + Global rom.
You guys think it's a hardware error?
I'm from the Netherlands btw. Using Tele2 as provider.
Thanks in advance
Exactly same issue as me ! Have you tried removing your PIN with another phone.
On top of this , I have network disconnect every 10sec , the phone is not useable
Please try to remove the PIN with another phone and let me know
( My phone also used to work flawlessly for 2/3 weeks and it happened suddenly )

Yeah I've tried that. Unfortunatly the same issue. It's really frustrating. The phone itself is perfect only it isn't useable right now... Don't know what to do atm.
I suspect hardware issue .... can't see why a software would do that and SIM related issues ...........
I've tried every possible ROM , every possible format , reinstall , flash etc........
TradingShenzhen asked me to ship the phone back to a guy in Germany. Lets see how it turns out
