It is affect sim lock when I change rom?
Because I wanna change cause of lag heat up fast drain battery fast I wanna downgrade and change rom

I'm buying an M2 aqua. I've been in forum looking for rom and more stuff. But i'm confused. m2 and m2 aqua are almost the same phones. but rom's are only for m2. will be a problem to install m2 rom's on m2 aqua? like aosp build by myself from binaries or the freeXperia project? Could anyone explain differences and so one?

If you buy with it locked to Vodafone the bootloader will probably be locked permanently meaning you won't be able to unlock it ever. If you wanna buy a phone with bootloader unlock allowed yes buy network unlocked sim free phones is the network that locks them down not Sony

mine from Vodafone Germany and its allowed to unlock bootloader, but u have to check before you buy anyway.
hey there, i have an xperia z3 sol26 d6653 , it is running kitkat and there is no software update button on my settings
and that may be because au kddi still hasnt released lollipop for this phone and that sucks to me
so my question is can i download and install a stock lollipop firmware for the regular d6653 on my phone ?(after all both of them carry the same model no.)
or will i have to sit tight and wait? and can cyanogen mod be the substitute for this?
you can use that d6653 ftf but u will lose 32gb to 16gb and nfc is not working.

Rather install Resurrection Remix. If you like customization on your rom.
If you want perfomrnce and themes (substratum) install OmniRom 7.1.2

If you are worried you may lose DRM then you should root with this https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-m2/general/rootxperia-toolkit-2015-09-26-how-to-t3217541 here and then backup your TA partition here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598 before unlocking your bootloader.

Hi everyone! Just bought Xperia 5 ii Single sim softbank version. Is there anyway to remove bloatwares of japanese apps? Can I install dual sim firmware in a single sim version or any customization in single sim firmware to remove bloatwares?
You can try to turn off using ADB AppControl, for example.
I recommend to download new stock firmware, without Providers' apps.
