Now for me the first priority is auto sync and sync of pictures, but after that I'll surely implement a widget (but, maybe in pro version).
What do you like to include in such widget? A list of articles (for selected feed, category) or texts?

I've just implemented downloading of the images (view images offline). Do you want to try it?

It's not very stable, but you can try and write here what you think.
It can be switched on in account preferences screen.
Next things I would like to implement are:

- some improvements in sync process (speed, stability)
- possibility to stop sync process

What about Google Reader by Google?
What do you think about new Google Reader for Android released by Google?
Do you think they will implement full offline support?
Do you like this new app? Why?

Just downloaded market version, and a few quick thoughts (I'll have more later)
Sync settings:
Maximal age of the post should be Maximum
you list a bunch of numbers in that catergory. I'm assuming they are days, but weeks would also be a possibility. If you could put 1 (unit), 2 (unit), that'd be great.
Main feed page:
I use folders a LOT in google reader. Usually, I browse by the whole folder at once, rather than the individual source (example, I might have android police, Android Central, and XDA portal for android all in one folder). However, in this app, I can only view by individual feed. If you can place an option under the folder menu to view all at once, that'd be great! By this I mean, I might be viewing an Android central story, but the next story might be XDA portal.
Edit: Just found if you tap the numbers it does this. If you can make that a menu option, that'd be great. I only found it by accident.
Overall:
You have a setting for article screen theme. Any way you can make that universal throughout the app? I like black text on white. However, everything but the article is still white text on black.
Make it so that articles that are read in app are read everywhere.
That's all for now. Looks really good so far. Love the swipe to go to next page option. Google official reader needed that. For what I think of googles reader app, I really like it. Nice UI, but no offline caching.

I think a widget would be a great idea. I see you are planning to add it in the future and you were asking what to be included. I think the best way to do the widget would be to display "all items" that would link to your app when clicked. I also would like to see a mark all as read on the widget too if that can be done.

I'll implement widget for sure, but a little bit later. Now the main priority is stability.

I missed this post, sorry for a late reply...
Well, I appreciate your help but right now I'm not thinking about translations. It would probably help me and more people would probably use it...
But...
I have lots of features planned and lots of releases will come in the near future, it would be a pain to maintain translations done by other people. I would have to wait for them to finish their translation before being able to release a new version.
For now, I want to avoid that. When the app reaches a more mature state, I'll think about adding a couple more languages.

I will consider to add trakt functionality in the future.
I thought about adding TV series but they require more management with episodes and stuff, so I think they deserve a separate app.
There are some rare crashes (Currently 15 crushes for 5000+ installs), I will fix them very soon

IO Notes is a hipster kind of note-taking app. It's not a replacement for the popular note-taking app you're probably currently using.
IO Notes will always be a lean, minimalist, and extremely configurable note-taking app, and only for security and privacy minded people.
Notes created using IO Notes are secured using industry standard AES encryption, and stored inside a database file which is encrypted using the same standard.
Access to IO Notes is always password protected. Note that forgetting your password simply means losing access to your notes. There's no way to recover your password. Consider yourself warned!
Whether your notes contain sensitive information or not, it doesn't mean you should allow others to have their eyes on your notes easily.

Warning:
Alarm's message also duplicated on your device in plain text format, unencrypted. This is necessary to make sure alarms are set properly across device reboot. Exercise caution to not leak note's content in alarm's message.

Permission explanation:
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To set alarms across device reboot.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To list available backup file.
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To create backup file.
VIBRATE: To vibrate the device when an alarm sets off.
If you'd like to see a planned feature prioritized, or a feature not on the list, I encourage you to request it via Feedback menu from IO Notes app.
IO Notes only supports devices running Android v4.0+. It is tested on:

- Samsung Galaxy Note II (N7100, Stock/OmniROM, Android v4.4.2)
- Samsung Galaxy S (I9000, CyanogenMod, Android v4.4.2)

Well, the idea is to be able to encrypt all kind of data given to it, be it pictures, videos, or any other files. I plan to work on it after all items under `Next features` are off the list. But then again, if many people requested specific feature via Feedback menu, I'll prioritize it.
In the near future, the source will not be released to public. But there's always a possibility for that in the future, depending on various circumstances.

Just to give some feedback. It works great one the HTC One. (4.4.2).
I'm probably picky but maybe go with a sans serif font.

Been working on a similar app for a few weeks for a competition nice to see someone else had the same idea , Very nice looking app does what it says on the tin, Works on Nexus 5 (4.4.2)

It's working great so far on the Fairphone! Looking forward to see all planned features implemented..

Ah, nice to know you have the same idea, too. This idea sprung up over a year ago, but the execution just started since last January as weekend project. Would love to see yours out there, too. Anyhow, thank you for reporting.

works here (motorola razr i, jb4.1). very nice and lean app, with reminder would be perfect.

works perfectly on my note 3. I like the zen mode feature. I guess once the planned features added, this app can go to play store and ready to hit the trending lists, it's still too simple for now.

There's actually a bug for Zen Mode which I've realized after releasing it. I'll have it fixed along when I release the next version for alarm (reminder) feature. Anyhow, it's actually on Play Store already. It's not on the post because I couldn't put link to external content yet. It would be better if you could install it from Play Store. Thank you for the feedback.

Hey thanks for the feedback! By re-do the screenshots do you mean pictures of the card ui? As for the name I'll play it by ear for now :laugh:

I'm thinking more the content within the screenshots. They have bad language in them at the moment, which potentially breaks the Google Play T&Cs.
