Hi XDA community
I've got a strange problem.
Since one week my screen displays a pink line from the top to the bottom of the screen, in the extreme right of the screen, where there is the curvature.
It seems to be superimposed over what should be displayed
It also appears when the aod is activated
What should I do?
Thanks

Either the screen or the flex cable connecting the screen is faulty. You can try to go to MIUI diagnostics mode and test the display with Red Green and Blue full screen colors. Repeat this for few times and see if the line disappears.
If it doesn't you have to return the phone for warranty claim as it can be hardware defect

My Mi Note 10 Pro started to display the pink line from yesterday and then I remembered this thread.
I will wait a week or two and then claim for warranty.
You should try some screen repair apps... I think it solved my problem.

Turn your screen off and you'll see that there are no lights. When I turn my screen back on I'll see the buttoms. It's just the lights aren't bright enough. Can someone else post a screen shot of theirs?

Simi Clock and Beautiful Widgets.
Those lights look REALLY faint too.
I cann't understand how is possible some phones to be defective (either is the not lighted back button, either is GPS issue etc) and some to work properly....???
Aren't all from the same company (Samsung)??? Don't all phones manufactured in the same production line???
What the [email protected] is going on??? I cann;t believe what i am reading in all Nexus S threads...
Isn't supposed to be all phones exactly the same ones????

Double rainbow?! What does this MEEEAAAAN?
In seriousness, no two things are identical. Some phones could have been damaged in shipping, or slipped through the quality assurance program. Just because a company mass produces a product doesn't mean that each one of them are exactly the same.

Then these pixels are very likely to be dead. They have this color even on the HTC-Bootscreen, right?
If yes, then there is nothing, you could do.

Hey all, i've waited the end of summer to take my htc to the shop where i've bought, but surprisingly the dead pixel disappeared
Sincerely i don't understand why my cellphone are alive and can repair itself  Lucy me!
Problem solved
I accidentally dropped my Sensation XE, got some small black lines in my screen. Then they grow large. So i played high defination games and make my screen hot, then the black line extended more. After it I cooled my phone under AC or in freezer. After 2 month they all are gone.
So happy about it. May be you guys try it if you have same problem.
I just woke up and my screen started shacking , everything is moving up and down randomly by 0.3 mm ( like in movies when a computer gets attacked by an alien virus )
It seems it happens more often when I touch the screen , but its also shacking on its own just les often.
I have 32 GB Nexus 5 everything is stock
Seems like a hardware failure(screen) to me... Try rebooting?? Post a pic if you can...

You can add dots/spaces between the url of the image to post!
something like : h t tp s: // www example. com/nexus5 .jpg
Rippling/shaking effect on screen means a hardware failure... However, just to be sure, we would like to look at it...
Last resort might be to factory reset it.. but I doubt if it's going to help.

This happens only in Google Now or everywhere? If yes, then it looks like a screen failure. RMA it asap.
However, I would suggest a factory reset first and see to confirm it.

Since your fully stock, there's no question of uninstalling Xposed framework or anything of that sort.
Backup your data and factory reset it. If that doesn't help, then it's obviously a hardware fault and the only thing you can do is send it to Google/LG! Good luck :good:

Yes, I'm under warranty but I've bought the phone from China and I'm from Italy, only the ship cost will be more than the repair.
There's no place to repair a china phone here, nobody even known the phone
But it's a problem that has a lot of OPO and the manufacturer said that, they're good enough and, even N% has yellow screens...
But I'm really not happy with this phone, not only for the yellow line.
There is no way to fix it, with usage and time it gets slightly better. 99% of phones have this, so you should not have bought the phone, if you think this is a deal breaker.

I didn't know that this kind of phone has this kind of screen. Obviously I never bought a phone with this defect.
I really never bought a phone even if I had known the state of Cyano 11s.
But it'd definitely my fault.
Thanks for the answers.
