You need to turn off the Google Assistent in the Google App settings.

Google talk voice call issue on 2.3.4 gingerbread

Has anybody noticed this??? ... when you dial a video call on gtalk its fine that it uses speaker phone as you are "video conferencing " so you need the call on speaker phone but when you are dialing a voice call it goes to speaker phone as well and I couldn't find an option to direct the voice on the headset so that I can listen to the call like a normal phone call???

Google Hangouts Video Call No Microphone

Google Hangouts has video call capabilities. When I am in speaker mode, no one is able to hear me. If I switch to handset earpiece, people can hear me.
This only happens in Google Hangouts. Recording video and saying "Ok Google" works.
Anyone else experiencing this?

[Q] Hangouts Recorder?

I don't have a SIM card but I can make calls VoIP with Google Hangouts Voice. Is there an app that can record my calls? I know they exist for non-VoIP apps but none I tried work with Hangouts.
I tried a screen recorder that can record internal sound and microphone, but I get an error that says:
"Microphone Busy, Only one app can use microphone at a time. This is an android limitation. Close other app using the microphone (e.g. Google Now or Skype) or continue recording without audio"

Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it

Google Voice issue - switching between speakerphone and earpiece

Just noticed that while I CAN switch between earpiece and speakerphone in HANGOUTS .... I can't do the same in Google VOICE. Software switching button won't respond as it should. Also... noticed that if I switch from one to the other while listening to my voicemail....the VOICE program switches to whichever I last listened to and won't change unless I switch earpiece/speakerphone while listening to more voicemail. No such issues with VOICE and my trusty Note 1.
Tried the NEWEST version of Google VOICE courtesy of apkmirror but no success for me and my Oreo Mate 9.
EDIT: Downloaded an older Feb 2019 version of VOICE...and now everything returned to working as it should. A pity the newer versions broke the ability to switch to and from Speakerphone. Google????
Any solutions out there? Thank you.

Question Problem with sound in voice calls in messengers after upgrade to Android 13

I have Samsung galaxy A32 5g ,model sm-a326u. A 2-3 weeks ago it received OTA upgrade to Android 13 Tiramisu. And after that upgrade i can't use any voice calls via WhatsApp ,Viber, Google voice, skype, Signal, etc. - anything that uses microphone and internet calls. The other side hears very distorted voice, not recognizable at all. When I use test calls on Skype I hear the same, totally unrecognizable voice (can't test in WhatsApp or Viber, there are no test call options). I thought that is a mic problem, but no, video or audio recording from camera works without problems, online mic tests are passed too. Regular phone calls are fine, but no Google Voice calls. Also, if i use any Bluetooth headphones (I tested 3 different), there is no sound coming from me in internet calls to other side.
Please help
Looks like people have all kinds of sound problems after Android update, reported here Samsung Community forum and here, and here
I tried a few things to fix this issue: clear the cache partition of the phone (doesn't help at all), reset all network settings (doesn't help at all). Only Factory data reset seems to fix it. But it is not the best solution, a lot of apps and data can't be easy restored after that.
I had same issue on various Android 13 roms. Trying different roms did NOT fix the problem.
The FIX is to
Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload
Now all the messenger app's audio works perfectly!
Enjoy!
