Hello, we are waiting for some who can make twrp. So anyone can help with the twrp for A30s. I know for Android 10 it's a bit complicated. But can someone tell that how time it takes to build twrp. Like how many days, weeks, months, etc... And if anyone can help us then it would be a great pleasure for us.

Hello to all, I am relatively new to the world of rooting, have succesfully rooted/unlocked galaxy tabs (various models), HTC AMAZE 4G. so i have a tad bit of experience to say the least. However, my UG007B will not connect to the pc, have scoured the web and xda developers forum for drivers, but even that and holding the reset button down don't work (which maybe broken). Anyways, is there a pre-rooted firmware I could update via ClockworkMod 'ROM MANAGER' App, by downloading the .zip file from the sd card. OR via the TERMINAL (please provide link to scripts, Posted Instructions, thx)
Is there a way I can root it without pc connection, or should I just return it? If this can be done, any links to some good custom rooted firmwares or ROMS. (CAN you even flash Custom ROMS without Root. As far as I know, you can't. but then again im still a NOOB.)
Last Questionpurchase decision advice, $50 at stake) I shelled out Fifty Bucks for this tab and would like to GET ALL THE FEATURES I CAN FROM IT. Am I really missing anything by NOT Rooting the device? I mean I mainly just use it for High Res. 720p/1080p playback, along with games, and web browsing.
Any help would be more than appreciated, as information relayed to me, will in turn allow me to contribute to the Site Forums :good:

Sound curiously, I would try
Hope you enjoy!
Anyway to play streams with mx player or chromecast?
I tried the 14.2 and it keeps failing on final install I'll try to redownload the apk and see if its just a bad down load
Works decently so far. Don't have a tv that I can stream it to right now so I can't say anything about that. Easy to use. Like it.
Is there a theme that works for handsets since its hard typing
Absolutely love this!
I do have one irritating problem though...
I can't get movie info from any channels with this version.
It works on Windows, no problem.
I've been searching the internet for a solution but keep getting hit by suggestions regarding local files. Those actually work already. Any help appreciated!
/Manko
TVMC already has its own thread on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/release-tvmc-custom-build-xbmc-android-t2904878

I'm having the exact same problem. Anyone know what I can do?
I am installing this on galaxy tab running android 5.0.2 lollipop (non-root). I am unable to make the pathsubstitution of thumbnail works. I think most probably because of the external sdcard restriction. Other apps will ask for permission to access sdcard by TVMC does not. Any plan to make TVMC works with external card?
Getting a 404, file not found for the file host of the APK.

Hi all,
I really hope this is not a re-post, but I was unable to find help anywhere on the Google or the XDA.
I have just taken up guitar and would really like to practice in silence through my phone and headphones. I understand that the Samsung Professional Audio Framework will let me do this, but for the life of me I cannot find a positive statement anywhere to the effect that it is supported. Even Samsung does not explain this in any technical documents I could find.
Does anyone know for sure that they have Professional Audio support on their S7? If not, does anyone running Android 7.0 have this support and can they show us where the settings are, so we can try to rule it out (or in) on the stock S7?
My device is not rooted. It's the Canadian version.
Thanks!
I visited a local music store and finally got the answer. I loaded a Samsung Professional Audio-compatible app, and got a notification about Professional Audio. Opening the notification took me to an otherwise-hidden settings screen for Professional audio.
Internet, we have our answer: Galaxy S7 does indeed have Pro Audio support. I took a screenshot, but am nut sure how to upload an image to xda.

Cool -- I'm finding it works decently on S7. It is a bit unstable so it's better as a practice tool when you don't want to fuss with a PC. At least on my S7 with the iRig HD-A, it would not be good for anything like a jam session or performance.
Hello all,
my first time posting on XDA, apologies in advance in case the thread isn't in the right location... I did have a search for this issue without much luck, it was never my exact issue or it there was no real answers.
Please go easy on me
So, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1 / GT-P5110) which I'm using again after installing Lineage OS 13 custom rom to give it some new life. My issue is mainly with Netflix. The device is not rooted and I can find the Netflix app in Google Playstore. I am able to install it and it opens and runs ok as far as the menus and such are concerned. The problem is with video playback - It plays a video for some time (random) but finally it stops, and fades back to black, back out to the home menu. I did see sometimes an error message like 5.2, 5.8 or 5.10 ( and I followed advice for these from online, didn't help) but mostly it just fades to home menu like I described, with no error message.
I have been looking around for a solution to this problem but can't find one that works.
I have tried to install Magisk and Magisk Manager and then hide magisk, and it passed Safety Net, but the video problem still continues in Netflix.
Also, I've tried various other ROMs like Cyanogen Mod 11, Omni Rom, and SlimRom etc but all give the same issue
I realise this is an old device now but it's been well covered in terms of custom ROMs, even up to now.
I find it difficult to understand that there such a high-profile, very popular app like Netflix is giving this probem. There must be a solution, hopefully I just missed something.
Can you please help? Would appreciate any tips or advice!
Cheers
p.s. if @Android-Andi could take a look at my question and offer any advice, that would be great!
@Android-Andi maybe you might have some ideas about this? I'm hoping
Hi there,
Few months ago, I was told in XDA site that nowadays changing the ROM is not anymore the best way to de-google a device. Now it is better to de-bloat and tweak the device.
Do you agree with this statement?
Did you change the ROM in your device or only de-bloated it? Tell me your experience. Easy to install, need to root, unblock the bootloader, update, what is NOT working, speed, battery, ...?
I own a Samung Tablet S5e LTE few months old, under guaranty and would like to de-google it. I was thinking to change the ROM, is tit the best way?
What is your advice? If needed, what ROM to use? What way, software to de-bloat?
Many thanks

Fully agree with this.
Thank you for your fast answer.
Could you be more specific and tell me why, how (big picture) and if you have experience what tools did you use?
People most times use terms "De-google" and "De-bloat" not knowing what they are really speaking of.
The Vanilla Android ( read: AOSP - today often called GSI ) is totally free of apps developed by Google ( topic: GMS ) and the service ( GFS ) they need to run, this because NOBODY basically needs these to operate a phone. But the overwhelming majority of the users of mobile devices want an Android what is extended by features, so they can download & install more apps, play games, listen to music, watch porn videos. OEMs respect this wish - they want to sell their products - and therefore typically add GMS & GFS to their Android OS, so it in reality becomes a Custom ROM.
Resume: Vanilla Android - and all ROMS that are based on Vanilla Android ( like Lineage OS and many others ) must not get "De-googled".
Bloatware ( or Potentially Unwanted Programs - PUP ) is software users don’t want, that burdens and slows down a mobile device. It usually comes pre-installed by vendors, manufacturers or carriers. IMO "De-bloating" is the first thing a user should do when starting up a new device.
Bloatware typically is installed as system-app, hence phone's Android must got rooted before you can start "De-bloating".
As I am not very skilled in Android, I appreciate your post.
I installed LineageOS 17.1 on my Samsung S6, it working fine, I am happy for the usage but the only issue I have is that I can't update. This is another story in another XDA forum.
My need are usual plus
Read books, music sheets, social networks, Internet TV, news, training, conference (low bit-rate), email, messaging, GPS travel, basic pictures,
some specific app for music practice (tuner, metronome), veg gardening (I need to find one suitable for me).
but no game, no HD movie (download or stream), no large download
Backup locally (I need to learn more), no cloud usage.
As I run GNU/Linux for around 20 y, I hate to have to register for account in any app from GAFAM and I don't want as much as possible give them my data. I try to select the app without tracker, FOSS and I block the permissions as much as possible.
If I can de-google this is the best for my mindset.
I understand that de-google or de-bloat, I 'll have to root so break Knox. Right?
I don't know if I need GMS and/or GFS for my use. Could you tell me? For what app it is mandatory?
With my S5e I want to be more cautious, I need a way as secure as possible to not brick it.
With all these info, what do you advice?

For the Tab S5e de-googling it is next to impossible with stock samsung rom. LOS works great on it and not too difficult to install, CRDroid works well on it but is better with google installed, /e/ rom was being developed for it but I don't know if they are still working on it. I built an /e/ rom locally for my Tab S5e last year and it worked very well. If you want to get away from google you need to ditch the OneUI or whatever they are calling it.
