Hello! Thank you for reading my post. POCO X2 is my first phone, I received it for getting good marks in recent exams . I have a few questions to ask regarding unlocking ther bootloader of POCO X2. They are as follows:
1. Do unlocking bootloader and installing custom roms void warranty?
2. For unlocking the bootloader, my Mi account has to be signed in the device for at least 7 days?
3. If you were to recommend me a ROM for daily driver (playing PUBGM, and normal daily stuff) what ROM would you suggest?
Also, I'm kind of new to this.. Can you please link a good guide that you followed for unlocking your bootloader?

The device is not bad at all although there are newer releases. Even though being able to update/upgrade it it's good for everyone.

Plese help me update my huawei ascend G730 to lolipop 5.0
Please help me flash the stock rom, I rooted the device, but I cannot proceed with flashing the stock rom or any custom rom. Phone works but some of the functionalities are missing, there are very few post regarding G730-U10 in the net and the Huawei site also has nothing much to offer.
I am waiting as well to upgrade my huawei to lollipop. I am certain many people are desiring the same but have not discovered this site.
i dont think Calingo has any concern about it anymore
People didn't vote but al least 10 post are asking to support this device! Me too i like to update the huawei ascend g730 with lollipop or kitkat and huawei is not releasing any update, and no cyanogenmod for this device.

Got it. I have been trying with an extra 6 in the middle. I have done the volume fix and its working fine.
My rom now is S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 is very good.

My phone lags a lot although i have just a couple of apps in it.
I want to try a new rom with better ram management ,better battery performance and it should be smooth.
I dont have any experience in rooting or roms or any other stuff.
Please suggest some roms for my phone also guide to the basic rooting and unlocking bootloader article or thread.
I also read something about losing Bravia Engine ,DRM keys, Gracenote integration if i root or unlock my bootloader.I'd like to know more about it.

are there any official custom roms that can be installed on this phone? and if not which are the non official ones?
hello, things are a bit sparse for the Redmi 6 but you can try the mi-globe tool to create a ROM and remove/add bits & bobs.

i spent the lasts interminabe 15 days waiting to unlock this phone and after waiting all these 360 hours with great patience came the great day but with big suprise i had another gift from this beloved chineese company... i tried yo unlock again with this ugly mi unlock program to finaly receive this rewarding gift: "Couldn't unlock"
and i thought "but why?!!?!???"
simple: trying keeping calm i saw that the reason was where? right there below the message... written how?? obviously in chineese language and it was this:
手机使用未达到指定时间，无法解锁.
and you think that anyone could make a copy and paste in a translator?? obviously not because the chineese reason is not copyable....
anyway the translation from simplyfied chineese is this: "The phone has not been used for the specified time and cannot be unlocked."
so the point is: specified were? do i have to use it since when before having xiaomi's permission? at this point will they ever give it or bother telling you that they will not? (i used the phone more for two days and tried again but answer is still the same, hope that tomorrow after the next 72h might unlock but not hoping really anything too soon before that i throw the phone in the wc and pour all my quite right anger upon it (or maybe wiser solution might be selling it quickly because it's brand new too)
can you give me a tip to shorten this time or have an idea if i have to wait other 14 days (that'll be a huge month of time)??
thanks for any unlocking tip suggestion - please help me even if at the moment i'm quite sure that i'll never buy a xiaomi phone again in my life!!, but at this point please help me to unlock it the same!!

you could give that a try and maybe the message will be more sensible (i think i tried before the time was up and it told me how long i had to wait).

I would love to test custom roms on my nokia 7.2 actually that's the reason i bought it but its a pain in the as* to unlock its bootloader so please help me and my friends those who want their bootloader to be unlocked as nokia has disabled it in the update and as per unlocking the bootloader is the first step for installing custom recoveries and roms or kernels so it is impossible to test any rom without an unlocked bootloader please help XDA.

I own an N7.2 with latest android 10 patch 12/2020. After reading on xda, I found out, bootloader unlocking don't work anymore or will mess with the OTA updates at least.
I am looking for a way to get rid of google services while I would like to have a saferope back to stock. This solution should also provide ota security patches without to much hassle. Do you think that's possible with a rom or should I aim for stock with root/magisk?
My 2nd choice would be to reactivate my previous phone, an Mi A1. I replaced it since there was no official update since last year. Also it became a bit sluggish over time.
I learned recently there is an official LOS version for this phone. Maybe that's an more promising approach to my goals than the N7.2? Especially since I am not so happy with the N7.2 bulky appearance, weak accu and lately (since I fiddle with the deactivating several sys apps) random restarts while opening ordinary apps like browser or messenger.
So I have bought one Poco X3 Pro Indian version recenlty and it arrives tomorrow. I just wanted to know what are the things I should do after getting the phone in hand. I have no past experiences with Xiaomi and I have always used Samsung till now. So MIUI is kinda new for me and I researched around a little bit here and there and found out MIUI is full of bugs and a really heavy android based skin.
I just want to get the most out of my device and get a clean, minimalistic good user experience. Also I will be gaming a bit as well. But dont really need any fancy overclocking that will put pressure on the device and hamper it in the long run.

If you want to stay with MIUI, then look in XDA for useful topics. Debloat, root, Magisk modules, battery health preserving or ask what you need, maybe someone has answer for it.

ROM opinion is subjective.
If you are not satisfy with the ROM you are using, can try custom ROMs or modify MIUI.
Many people said MIUI drains battery fast and has a lot of bugs, but some people did not encounter issues and are satisfy with MIUI.
Try and error, life is just like this.

first thing first!
request bootunlock! the time varies from 172 to 360 hours
atleast you get over this time even if you don'twana unlock your phone anytime soon
if you wana keep device locked then
1. debloat (ofcourse)
2. unversal copy pro is must (to extract text on screen and copy to clipboad)
3. firefox screenshot (similar to universal copy pro but it let u catagorize your screen shots)
4. camscanner (free version is also AMAZING! ) no need to buy
5. download the following for future
a. vendor + firmware for miui12.x
b. twrp recovery 3.5.2
c. fastboot image of your miui verison (5gb)
d. recover image of your miui version running on x3pro (2.7gb)
e. download @cepheus tool AIO All in one and install drivers (windows 10)
f. download xiaomi pc suite and install (windows10
g. download miui unlock tool and install (windows10)
h. download miui Flasher and install on your laptop for future , incase u wana flash FASTBOOT ROM or wana RELOCK your BOOTLOAD with FLASHING FASTBOOT ROM
6. for keyboard i use SwiftKey Beta! side by side Gboard (its amazing)
7.hmmmmm thats it for now if i think of anything else i will post
