I had posted a thread about the rom cm72-111115.0500-Milestone2-Final-v3.0-signed.zip by Endless7 and a possible bug. Now, after I install the rom cm7-111112-2157-NIGHTLY-Milestone2.zip by tezet, I have the same problem. USB MTP Device don't install. I really had readed in some place in Internet what say that this problem occur because there isn't MotoBLUR in these customized roms. This is a possible bug, I think. Is there a solution or a workaround for this? Please help me.
USB MTP Device don't install, but if I enter with the address 192.168.16.2:8080 in web browser the Phone Portal is function.
im running EOS JDQ39 nightly B202 rom with kat kernel
when i connect the tablet or tablet in the dock to pc it chargers but doesn't show up as a drive or as the transformer
any help would be great thanks

Does it give a message hat it failed to install a driver on the PC? If so, it is probably a bad USB cable.
Another thing to try is to to Settings - Storage - Menu key (top right) - USB connection - tick MTP. If that does not help, tick th PTP option.

thanks neither of those worked, if its the cable where's the best place for replacements they are not a common cable
I bought one off of amazon. I would recommend a genuine Asus cable.

I was wondering if usb otg works on android one.
But as i tested with cable..it isnt working..
So i installed a 'usb otg checker' app from market.
The test gave me a positive result..that means the phone suppprts usb host mode.
But is disabled in kernel.
So my question is can usb otg mode be enabled WITHOUT rooting and changing kernel.
Cause i dont want to root my phone as am satisfied with the features i am getting and also waiting for official android update.
Plz help me in this topic.. Otg check result attached in attachments.

Hi i can't access my files on my pc (it is unlocked) not even sync for music
also it appears as a audio device in devices and drives

The phone used to work with the same computer and USB cable?
If ur rooted install multirom and install cm13 as secondary os.. then connect to ur pc while ur in cm13 it will detect the driver after that unstall cm 13 and connect as u do normally

oh sorry for not sharing what i did to solve the problem! here is what i did!
1. connect phone to pc
2. unlock
3. swipe down and touch the notification that says "usb for charging touch for more options"
4. select the option you want

I recently updated to PD2 and now I'm having USB connectivity issues. When I plug my phone into my PC I'm told my device is not recognized and has stopped working while in the default charging mode. If I try to change it to file transfer mode I get the same message from my PC. Anyone else have a similar issue after updating to PD2?
*Update*
I tried plugging it into a different USB (a 2.0 instead of a 3.0) on my PC and was able to transfer files. Maybe my USB 3.0 driver needs to be updated.
