I have a tempered glass screen protector on my S5 Active. I was thinking about buying an anti-glare protector to put on top of it. Has anyone ever stacked screen protectors like this before?
Thanks
Is the screen on the Pixel 3 flat or does it have rounded edges like the Pixel 2?
I would bet most screens will have the 2.5D curved edges these days. I miss the flat screens that could support edge to edge glass screen protectors.

i was just looking at detailed pictures of the phone on cnet and it appears to have the same type of screen setup as the pixel2.
like you, i miss a flat screen that can support edge to edge screen protection.
Whitestone dome screen protectors protect edge to edge enough for me but they do seem to crack easy.

Oh yes.. that 2.5D screen protector on my flat Nexus 5 was the best protection ever. It gave me that curved glass while protecting 99% of the screen.
I managed to order these before they ran out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FTCHPWY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They make mention of curved edges and that the protector doesn't wrap around them:
"Please Note: Google Pixel 3 screens has curved edges that our screen protectors do not cover 100%, as they would peel over time causing customer frustration. We designed our screen protectors so you will have maximum coverage on your device with ease of installation and durability. For more complete protection, we recommend pairing the screen protector of your choice with a Google Pixel 3"
They are arriving tomorrow along side my Spigen case. That should give me an idea of just how curved the edges are. From the pictures, I think it's probably a little less curved than the 2XL was.
I looked at Best Buy's demo models today, 3xl right next to my 2xl and a 2xl on display next to it, and the 3xl glass does seem to be quite flat compared to the 2xl! I tried to take a picture but the 2xl and 3xl displays weren't close enough.. I might go back with a second phone to take pictures with so I can compare to my 2xl.
Specifically, the 2xl seems to have it's glass start to curve just beyond the underlying display, but on the 3xl it seems to be flat to the edge of the glass.
I talked to the BB employee and he said he noticed the same thing but they didn't have screen protectors yet so he's not sure if they're going to try to wrap around to the side of the device or not.. but we both seemed to feel that they shouldn't need to.
Anyway, can't say for sure yet but I really think it is flat and I'm very excited by these possibility!
I got my case and screen protectors today. There does seem to be very little gap between the lip of the case vs the edges of the screen protector.
Also, these have adhesive on the entire screen as apposed to just the edges like most glass 2 XL protectors.
Goods signs so far.
I have received this screen protector and though I would share my thoughts on this product for anyone who may be interested in this product or brand.
First off, installation is easy with little room for error as there are 2 glass screen protectors included, and 4 adhesive bottles. Once installed, the screen protector has a really nice natural glass feel. It is compatible with any Samsung protective cases (I currently have the Samsung leather case) however, any other case my or may not be compatible.
The screen protector is responsive and compatible with the fingerprint touch ID, and results with little to minor smears.
A minor setback for me personally is the screen doesn't cover the whole display (vertically). There is about an inch or so of excess room on the bottom of the display which really annoyed me when I swipe up from the bottom of the display.
Overall, this glass screen protector is a better alternative to the more expensive glass screen protectors out there and gets the job done.
Anyone know of a screen protector that doesn't affect the colors? I bought a supershieldz edge to edge protector, but I could notice right away the colors are degraded with the coating on the screen protector. Right after I took it off, I could notice how bad it was.
Any good protectors that don't affect the image quality/contrast of the colors?
skinomi screen protector looks ok to me. it's a thin protector and is wet application. only issue i have is finger oils/prints are rather noticeable compared to others i've used in the past.
As most of the protectors out there have notches, and don't cover the upper area of the top speaker, I searched for a product with holes instead of notches. I found
[3 Stück] Panzerglasfolie Schutzfolie für Google Pixel 3A,Tempered Glass 9H
for 4.99€ on amazon.de .
After I installed, it felt a bit sticky. But after using it for a couple of minutes, it felt great.
I am using ArmorSuit MilitaryShield
It's film, not glass but it's perfect with Spigen cace.
Probably this will be odd question. All the borderless screen protectors glasses for mi a2 are smaller than the same one but with borders. Does anyone know/find borderless glass from other smartphones that by size as the one with borders ?
