First of all, i apologize for my bad english.
this method will help you to unbrick your Mi Mix 2s!
from :
1. The system has been destroyed
2. "This MIUI can't be installed on this device"
3. Locked Bootloader in global/ china ROM
4. Etc
how to do :
1. Remove the back panel of the phone
2. Do test point #below the rear camera
3. Flash it with MiFlash2018-5-28-0
*before you flash, go to MiFlash2018 Folder -> Mi -> account_auth.exe
login with Authorized Mi Account (thanks for redmi note 5/pro ARP cases)
4. do flash
5. wait for done
6. enjoy ur mi mix 2s again!!!
Basically everyone on the official Xiaomi Support Threads for the Mix 2S says this does not work. Not almost everybody--every single person that has tried it and left a comment about their experience. All you will do if you follow these instructions is permanently destroy your phone and if that is your intention smashing it repeatedly with a hammer is faster and easier.
Sorry, I did for my phone, and it's works
And now I am replying from my mix 2s,
It was bricked XE model with locked bootloader in global rom. Just flash with China rom, and the key is mi flash 2018 with authorized mi account which we posted in miui Russia forum to get authorized for bricked arp redmi note 5 pro

I bought this bricked phone from someone, XE model, he flashed to global rom and forgot to choose Clear All, he check Clear and Lock in Mi Flash,
Then the phone is bootloop for a month, he tried to flash, etc with any methods, flash recovery, etc
That's how his phone system destroyed
Sorry for my bad english
If your system says it got destroyed it isn't destroyed it only locked the bootloader and that means you have to unlock it again to access the rom.
@jhs39 and ryan mixed: You´re absolutely right: Due to a failed flash to Android P, my Mix2s got hardbricked -
only showing 'The system is destroyed' - the bootloader was re-locked - only Fastboot was working.
I was able to re-unlock the bootloader by using the latest MiUnlockTool ( the older ones got stuck at 50%... )
- after that, the phone was booting again and everything was OK. My experience is: forget all workarounds with
deepflash cables, testpoint aso - the possibility to damage the hardware of the phone is excessive and they won´t
lead to success. The only way to get it working again is to unlock the bootloader! And this is working not depending
if usb debugging is enabled or you got ´find my phone´ enabled in your mi.account,....

Hm, maybe we´re going to be a bit OT - I read the mentioned thread - who needs five mi accounts?
I have only one for my three registered Mi´s. I did the re-unlock of my Mix2s two weeks ago and
I checked it again before writing this - it still has permission. So, maybe there are other reasons why
Xiaomi has revoked some people´s accounts permission? Maybe depending on the age of the
account, the region, or they reglement the number? IDK. Only Xiaomi knows...

For backup, cause of hardbrick of redmi note 5 anti rollback, no fastboot, no recovery, etc, the only way is to flash in edl for ubl devices, otherwise for non ubl devices we do test point, not permission to unlock, but permission to flash in edl mode.
Try miflash 2018,go to "mi" folder, login with your account, see unauthorized or authorized.
OK, arb can be a bad trap for owners of redmi note 5, but is it also
applicable to the Mix2s? As I wrote, I used the 'old' miflash_unlock
( ver. 3.3.525.23 ) and after that I flashed from failed Android P to
global dev. and then again to Android P using XiaoMiFlash
( ver. 2017.4.25.0 ). And honestly, I´m a bit scared of trying a new

I mean the flashing method, not about ARB.
I used that method for my bricked mi mix 2s,
XE model with Locked BL in global rom,
Just fastboot and recovery,
Bootloop,
Everytime i flash with MI PC Suite 3.0 beta, it's detected as Global or XA model, when i flashed, phone bricked again.
I do try unlock BL again, and got message "this account is not bound to device or something like that" in Mi Unlock
So i downloaded MiFlash 2018 + borrow authorized mi account,
Do test point by opening rear side,
Then flashed China Stable or Developer Rom & my phone is up again
I guess your phone is XA, not XE
Sorry, but @Pfofeldix is right. I have the XE model and once I locked the bootloader while being on Global ROM. Phone went softbricked of course, but I used Mi Unlock to unlock it and it went back to life again. Then I've done the whole procedure multiple times and during every single one of them I was able to "revive" my phone.
There's no point in destroying the phone when you can achieve the same outcome with the phone intact, left alone that some people say that the testpoint method doesn't work.
I don't know why some people can't relock and unlock again, but it definitely is possible if you did everything right in the first place.

Because you can unlock it before, when it unlocked, of course you can flash to any rom.
The problem was my phone Locked in hardbrick state,
Mi account not bound to device.
that's why i do test point, i didn't suggest people to destroy their phone, i do for my phone and it back to life. It's ok, i just want to share.

That's a different situation. The person who posted that had 5 accounts. I've used the same MI Account to unlock the bootloader on all 4 of the Xiaomi devices that I've owned. If you got caught using multiple accounts to request bootloader unlock I think Xiaomi always deauthorized the accounts.

hi all,
anyone ever use mi mix 2s global rom with 5 digits version of miui ? example 9.5.4.0.0 . is it the real global stable rom ? i checked the phone was unlocked shown on the bottom when i turned on the phone. Can i just flash to other rom with miflash tool ??? seem the phone bootloader is unlocked.
thank you for the attention.
That and the fact it came unlocked sounds fishy. You can miflash a rom for sure. You'll want to find out if it's truly a global model as well because if its a China model you will brick the phone if you relock the bootloader with a global rom.

seem its china model because the phone was unlocked...so how could i flash the rom if i want a global stable rom like the real global version of mix 2s ??? TWRP is the last method???
You can use miflash to flash global stable ROMs, they will work just fine, just DO NOT AT ALL attempt to relock the bootloader unless you are back on China stable.
Also watch miflash... Down the bottom right you have the flash, clean and flash, flash and lock etc. Absolutely make sure it is not on a lock option. It's easy to do there by accident if you don't check.

Immediately try to flash official global stable !!!!!!
Like it was said DO NOT lock bootloader until you do get on official rom
You phone came with 3rd party FAKE miui (yes thats the name of this rom) it may contain malware and all kind of bullsh*t
My first Mi 5 came with it, I studied it so trust me. Flash global stable!!
You can flash twrp via fastboot and then flash miui eu weekly, that a way to get rid of this nasty fake crap!!!

Dude don't tell him to lock the bootloader.
Chinese versions of the phone only work on global with the bootloader unlocked, If he locks it the phone won't boot and he won't have any way of installing the chinese rom because the mi account isn't bound. So he'll end up with a hardbrick that could only be fixed with a special mi account and EDL mode.
Tl;Dr DO NOT LOCK THE BOOTLOADER YOUR PHONE WILL BRICK

Tell us the whats on the back of the phone, the model ?
I have a Redmi 6 (China version) that was sold to me as a Global edition. So when i updated the ROM much later and didn't unselect Lock Bootloader' it bricked the device.
Ive been reading up for weeks and trying to get it up and running again. I was planning on getting a Chinese ROM onto it then using the official xiaomi tool to unlock the bootloader once i signed into my xiaomi account on the phone.
I pursued the EDL method for sometime before realising it was a Mediatek phone. This week i have been trying to use the Mediatek Bypass to flash an official Chinese rom onto the phone but am getting the following error (see attached screenshot).
Just to clarify im just trying to flash a rom not unlock the bootloader with the mediatek bypass.
Is this possible?
If not are there any other methods i have not seen?
If not i can just give up which will be welcome
Thanks!

The tool is saying you that the firmware you are trying to flash doesn´t match with your device cause the name product was changed by the seller, it doesn´t hurt a try with that firmware.
Also you can try again with the Chinese firmware without flashing vbmeta.

Managed to get android booting by just flashing one file at a time as suggested on another forum. The one part that wouldn't flash was the 'cust' part of the rom.
Thank you still for the suggestions.
Just having problems getting my sim to work in it again. No its n a china rom it wont use my sim.
Now magisk is much complicated for me now days and I don't want to root my phone
I have indian version poco X3 pro I flashed eu rom but saftynet failed. so can I lock bootloader with eu rom and this will fix saftynet failed issue fixed .
I don't want to root my phone and magisk method is looking complicated now days so that option is not my choice so plz help me with that
Locking the bootloader means phone gets forced to boot into ROM what was pre-installed.
I think eu rom should have resolved the safetynet, you should ask in the eu rom forums.
From my limitted knowledge, if you re-lock you must only flash the same ROM that your phone was sold with, or you'll have a brick...
Unless I'm mistaken, once re-locked even EDL will not be available, so it would be hard brick.
Don't do that unless you know exactly what you're doing.
Try at your own risk though, I heard new xiaomi devices don't allow people to lock their phone, even if you want to the fastboot will simply not let you do it. On slightly older xiaomi device, it does let you lock the phone but good chance that you are stuck with that rom because you can't unlock it.

This is a brand new China hardware GM1910 OnePlus 7 pro. 256g 12gig ram model.
No matter how precisely I follow directions it just gives buzzarre responses.
Clues anyone?
The first time it soft bricked a few days back was my fault.
I had android 11 OxygenOS and tried to flash pixel recovery and ROM.
Supposed to have OOS 12.1 which I had this time.
After I flash the pixel recovery it acts all bizzare and refuses to boot to the recovery.
Then it shows this?
I only have the picture. Fastboot mode. And power off.
Is it because it's Chinese? Off AliExpress.
I'm feeling like I've just bought a lemon?
From the OnePlus forums:
GM1910 is the Chinese variant OnePlus 7 Pro running HydrogenOS (with GM21 build tag).
It is possible to flash both GM21AA (global) and GM21BA (EU) OxygenOS firmware on top of the HydrogenOS using the Local Upgrade method.
Bootloader unlocking is not necessary for switching to OxygenOS.
After conversion, you'll get OTA update from the respective branch.
Have you considered trying this first and then maybe try flashing other ROMs after getting to know the device / reading more?

It does. I think I tried a similar tool to this one 2 days back and after trying various button combinations achieved a boot.
Do you know if this model can boot PE 12 or 13 or will I just get another brick?
The whole point of the purchase was to have an easy time with unlocking the bootloader an trying custom roms.
Was not expecting a nightmare?

I don't know. Just trying to help with the stuff I remember. I mean, you can try and as long as you don't do some crazy stuff and hardbrick it, you can always go back with the unbrick tool. Did that a lot of times when doing ROM hopping back then. The OnePlus devices have an easy to unlock BL, and that's good. But flashing them was a pita (for me). Now on the Pixels I had and have all is much more easier (IMO).
Follow this here (says GM1910 is supported by PE 13)
https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/guacamole/
There is some installation guide too.
Thanks for all the help I'll go see some options. It's very hard to find accurate I formation about this phone as it's reached legendary status. I really like it dispite it being power hungry.
I was just hoping for a few options besides the stock ones. Nothing too crazy.
It's a beautifully performing cellphone dispite being near 4 years old now.
I will keep Google pixel in mind. There are ones the same age as my OnePlus that are dirt cheap. If I find them as easy to work with as you have I might buy a more modern one.
I just wish I knew about the bootloader.
It seems to be permanently unlocked now which could make life difficult? No relocking guide works.
Thanks again

Also, using MSM tool should normally relock the bootloader. Are you sure your bootloader is actually unlocked when you use it?

Yes I tried that but still get the system destroyed message. It's bright and my little Oppo A96 4g did it's best.
Not sure if you can read it but it says internal system an recovery destroyed.
I did wonder if it's still locked but just saying unlocked because of all the different activities trying to revive it.
I just hope it's not unrecoverable as I just got it and waited a month. So that would be horrible
