For me rom reboots after i had put sim card in phone. Screen starts flickering like it was trying to get me to enter pin for sim to unlock but after a few flickers it restarts over and over untill i remove sim

Sorry for the issues, people reporting that they having problems with sim, i will try to fix that, if need something else join telegram group!

Hello, look again requirements to boot this rom, you need to be on Q bootloader atleast to boot.

Finally at 2nd attempt have managed to get it working, nice and quick as hell !
Although there is one BUT - I have found out that setting up your fingerprint/passcode (don't know which exactly because you can't set fingerprint without PIN) messes it all up, screen after 1st unlock becomes black with only notification bar and back button - it gets to blank black from this every 2 seconds until it eventually reboots to TWRP.
This is now 3rd time when I flash it and I'll leave it as it is.
Anyone else with the same problem?
Anyway, I give 1000 thanks to el0xren for this awesome ROM.

Do not update SVoice to the latest .115 update. It uses S7 location sensor and won't work. The SVoice in the ROM is perfect.
Do not update any of Camera modes from the Galaxy Store because it will give you FC to camera due to S7 camera modules.
If you want to fix Youtube 1080P 60FPS lag, you have to change your device model from SM-G935F to SM-G903F. If you do that, you will lose the option to download S7 theme or update S7 apps & Edge apps.

Hmm... I guess it's a permission thing where switching to an app "focuses" the audio to that app instead of whatever apps are currently playing audio. So in Pokemon Go's case, it pauses all music as soon as you switch back to the app. Very irritating.
Apparently there are some music players that have some kind of audio focus override built-in, but I'm using Spotify, which doesn't. On CM-based builds, there is a setting in Privacy -> Privacy Guard -> Advanced -> Media -> Pokemon Go, and you have the option to untick "Audio Focus".

This looks like a great ROM to try!
Just want to make sure I have got this all straight before I flash.
I have a SM-900V, PB1 Baseband running CM13.0 snapshot and TWRP 3.0.2-2-klte installed.
Questions:
1. Looks like I need to downgrade TWRP to 3.0 or less
2. I need to find G900VVRU2DPF4_BL_G900VVRU2DPF4_MODEM_LTE.tar and flash with TWRP or Odin depending on what style file I find?
3. Then in TWRP – install
a. Phoenix rom
b. Jrkruse_modified_ROM_patch
c. And my Update.zip from Titanium Backup.4. I am no longer with VZW and using this phone on GSM only. Do I need to install the Jrkruse_modified_ROM_patch? Not sure if the patch is just to setup the vzw radios?Anyway – if you can help me with a link to the PF4 file and any other tips or mistakes I am making I would appreciate it!

No, you have to also be on a mm bootloader, pd1,pf4, or pg2. here is a link to update to pf4 bootloader. If your phone is a 900v then yes you would have to flash the way instructions are set to get it running on your phone, you may just have to set your apn's manually. Let me know when you've upgraded to pf4 bootloader and I can help you further. @wantpizza

I am not going to fiddle any more tonight. But I have downloaded the BF4 bootloader and rom. It is .zip file = so it is a TWRP flashing file. I have no problem setting my APN's manually.
Good question is - do I have to downgrade TWRP to 3.0 to flash the Phoenix zips?

To flash Phoenix zips yes you must downgrade to 3.0.0-0 because its aroma installer, i would even suggest using philz custom recovery but only if it doesnt flash correctly with 3.0 twrp the first time. Reason being 3.0.2 twrp doesnt do aroma installers correctly. Also be sure to follow the instructions on updating your bootloader to mm as it must say Samsung official on your download screen before you can flash bootloaders.

So I ended up installing this ROM (v14.0) after doing a full wipe and am having an interesting issue - I can't seem to send any text messages. I can receive messages all day long, but always get a failure sending them. Here are some things I tried to do to fix the issue but with no avail:
- Clearing cache
- ROM reinstall (+another complete data wipe)
- Using different apps (default message app, signal, and verizon messages all get the same error)
- Modifying the selected APN (VZWINTERNET) to include an MMSC that points to http: //mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms and APN type to include mms
- Upgrading Phoenix ROM to 14.2 (from the original thread). It works fine, except again, not sending text messages.
The only other thing I can think of is I'm currently on the PD1 bootloader. I could try upgrading to PF4, but before I do, is there anything else that I might be missing that I could try? Not sure how much effect upgrading the bootloader would have.
EDIT: Updated bootloader to PG2 and still have the same issue. Also, when I roll back to 12.0, texts begin to work again.

Are you using Verizon service? Are you flashing the patch directly after flashing rom, in the same sequence?

- ROM only
- ROM, then reboot, then JrKruse international patch

Still a problem sending text messages. I've switched over to the stock PG2 ROM for now which is working for me.

Charging problems
Has anyone else had trouble charging the phone?
It makes the charging sound, and it does not show any animation, I turned it off, and off I put it to charge, but it did not charge until I turned it on.
I had to restart it several times until it took the normal charge. (That is, it shows charging animation, and you notice that the battery charge increases)
--Upgrade -
- Wipe cache
- Wipe dalvik
-wipe data
Reboot
- I set from 0
during the initial configuration I try to load it
-fail at first
I plug the cable back in and charge.
After a few minutes I plug the cable back in but the fault reappears
- I change the theme (Slimpak light) and the theme shows the loading animation, but not the system UI, nor does it show the charging led.

I have problems to be able to load the phone, it happens only with this ROM.
Before installing I had the firm MIUI 11 and never failed.
When plugging in the charger cable, sometimes the system recognizes that it is charging, sometimes not.
I have to reboot and try many times in a row to get it to load.
But only that mistake I had for the rest is a very beautiful Rom.

From my usage, I never faced this issue, might be some system inbuilt files got removed, you might need to flash firmware

Try with twrp recovery.

Take in mind that this ROM has a massive size. It has easily the double of size of any custom ROM+Gapps for this device. Would be normal if flashing procedure were taking a lot of time.
However, you could switch to TWRP and try again.

same thing happened with me my phn was freezed im on r11 (orange) and iwas getting error something like partition error but still i flashed again zip file and it was successful currently im using it as my daily driver and its pretty good though there lags in system animation i hope it will get fixed

1. First Important Step is to Backup (though depends on you if you wanna be safe or no )
2. extract the ROM.zip
3. extract the fastboot Rom installer zip (download link below)
4. take the payload.bin and copy it to input folder of payload_dumper-win64
5. run the payload_dumper.exe
6. take all the *.img files from output and paste it outer folder with adb, fastboot and etc files
For clean flash
7. reboot to fastboot, (sometimes it doesn't work from bootloader so try going 'fastboot' from recovery)
8. run ROMinstaller.bat (see NOTES below), if it get stuck try rebooting to fastboot again while script is on
9. factory reset from recovery
10. reboot
For update/dirty flash
7. authorize phone for adb while normally booted
8. run updateKEEPdata.bat (remove the flash recovery line from script or use new uploaded)
9. reboot
NOTES:
1) recovery from v2 zip seems working fine, so should not have any issues
2) If the script feels stuck or unresponsive, try pressing enter after clicking on the script window.
3) It does use pixel experience recovery for now so do not freak out
4) if dirty flash not works, clean flash should work

Installed on a OP8 Pro just to test out Visible (Verizon MVNO) carrier compatibility. Sim card is seen as "Visible" but Network Settings is grayed out and there's no other connection.
Posted mostly for the sake of others that are on the same quest as I to get off of stock rom and use Visible that may be curious.

well, this build is for oneplus 8, and not 8 pro or 8 t. I only tested it on op8 myself
Sorry, I wasn't trying to signal it wasn't going to work, but purely wanted to see if it had the Verizon / Visible compatibility included. I'm learning quite a bit about what goes into carrier configuration and realize that expecting a ROM to have compatibility with a carrier that (I believe) requires specific vendor files above and beyond the APN settings isn't really practical.
FWIW though, it did install and boot on OP8 Pro anyway, so there's that.

I see, no problem, no guarantee but I'll keep an eye out for that
I am also having problems with my Verizon sim on my op8. I can receive calls actually, just can't call someone from my end. I can only send texts if I use the Verizon messages app. Idk if it's just certain sim cards but that's what's happening for me. Hopefully this can be fixed. But overall a great build!

So your on Verizon A11 and have data/signal on this build? If it's wompy you probably just need to add correct apn's.
HHi. It is one of the few ROMs that I have not been able to detect failures. The bluetooth works well with any android compatible device. Its operation is fluid, It connects well with the car through android auto (this is not easy to find with ROMs based on aosp or similar with android 11) the battery has very good performance and is compatible with magisk and Xposed framework. Congratulations on the development and I look forward to the next update. Brilliant work. When will it be published?

It's mandatory to be on the latest miui a11 official firmware of your region
Clean flash recommended
Always make a nandroid backup, be safe.
ROM uses O.S.S. vendor
* For those who don't want encryption, no need to flash any dfe zip as rom is already decrypted by default so please dont flash any dfe zips
* If users were encrypted on their previous roms they need to FORMAT DATA in recovery first
its FORMAT and not WIPE understand the difference, if you dont format data the rom will bootloop as you have previous rom encryption.
- Clean flash recommended
- Use the latest official orange fox recovery from here
- Format data if coming from encrypted rom
- Wipe all the following
* Dalvik / ART Cache
* Cache
* System
* Vendor
* Data
- Flash latest miui a11 firmware for your specific region
* Global | China | Europe Firmware
* India Firmware
- Flash VoltageOS + Gapps
- Do not reboot in between flash everything at once, also no need to flash any dfe zip the rom is already decrypted by default.
- Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache & Data
- Reboot
* For those who want to use rom with encryption
This rom comes with FBE V1 encryption so those who have come from fbe v2 roms need to compulsory FORMAT DATA else it will bootloop due to fbe version mismatch.
As decryption of internal storage is now fixed on a12 you will need different recovery to flash the rom and only this recovery can encrypt/decrypt rom, other recovery wont work.
Special thanks to @Pranav Talmale for making a12 decryption work with FBE v1 all credits goes to him for the recovery

I've just found a couple of bugs (not real bugs).
Vibration icon is not there on statusbar lockscreen, but it's showing on home screen. Also alarm icon is not there on homescreen nor on lockscreen, nomatter if you enable it or disable it...
And please make earspeaker more louder in calls...

They're not bugs but google features. On some other a13 roms you have the option to make vibrate & alarm icons always visible.

I think that in Nik site you have a slight explanation, anyway Nik core is/has the same things as MTG lite.

I never success use orangefox FBEv1 to flash the ROM except LOS 20. I don't know the reason.

Earpiece sound is adequate i dont feel to increase, maybe its your side issue, others might be aosp side bugs not sure, lets see if they can be fixed or not, no promises

This is android 13 your android 12 mtg wont even flash, read before flashing any package. I just confirmed it flashes without any issues if you use proper zip which is for a13

cant flash the zip on samsung a30s (sm-a307gn), (location argument to mount () cant be empty), idk why, and idk how to fix that bcuz the twrp doesn't say which partition can't be empty.
Can someone please share either the kernel or the process of actually changing the kernel.

A bit off topic, but does anyone know about the latest official software update for the a307fn with the october 2022 security patch? Since i updated,general performance and camera has been much worse since. Adding insult to injury, they changed the binary version to 3, meaning you cant down grade anymore.
Is this only specific to my device or did anyone else also facing the same issue? Please let me know.

For now sim don't work on g/gt version. I don't know why
