Hi All,
Did anyone notice screen not turning off for certain notifications? You have to manually remove the notification or lock the screen to turn off the screen. I have found some settings for sms app but still finding it on Boxer email application. If i get calendar invite at 1 AM for Boxer then the screen will be on for the whole night (battery drain) and the SOT will show 10 hours!!

This is the MOST annoying thing in the world to me.
When the Battery is Full the Screen Comes on and puts this little Notification down at the bottom of the lock Screen.. Screen stays on a few seconds then 5 mins later it does it again..
Ive gotten to the point where I just cover my phone up at night. But there has to be a hidden setting or something to where I can disable this? Can anyone help out here.
Side Note : Ive already disable the "Sound" Battery Notifications. But thats the only thing I can find in relation to battery notifications.
There's a "Power Plug" application installed, but if you disable it (freeze) you'll also have to disable Motorola Services.
My bad.
I am experience an issue (what I believe to be an issue) with the lock screen notifications not showing up when my screen is off. When I receive text messages or emails when my phone is off (AOD is disabled and lock screen notifications are enabled) the screen does not turn on and display any notifications (I could have sworn it did on my S6). Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to have it display my notifications when I receive them if my screen is off?

Unless it's built in to an app, the screen does not turn on for notifications. If there's a setting for that I could not find it.
I'd like that too, it works nicely on the iphone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with Verizon that I just bought and have the same issue - it won't show notifications on the lock screen (with AOD off). For examle, any Gmail notifications. The screen just stays blank and does not turn on to show the notifications, unlike every other smartphone today (my Nexus 5X did that). Am I missing something? I can't believe that this awesome phone would be missing such a fundamental feature (i.e. turn on the screen temporarily to show notifications). Other people also have this issue?
Hi,
any further tips on why Email notifications don't show on the locked screen?
It wouldn't normally be an issue but the LED is much smaller than my last phone (Nexus 5X).
hey, buddy. You need to turn on the notification option for email app in the settimgs. Defult option is turned off. Turn it on and the phone will show nofications when the mail comes.:good:
Not the default App, Gmail and Outlook for Android.
Edit
How to prevent notifications appearing in Lock Screen of Realme 5 Pro with Stock Rom and unlocked Bóotloader?±
Settings→notifications&status bar→allow notification bar in lockscreen(turn off).
Idk
I tried everyting - turn off batery saver, battery optimization, allow floating notifications, allow background apps, turn off app freeze, notification wake up just everything... and I can' t receive notifications on screen off. It' s so stuped!
What more I can do ?
My phone is a Realme Q
Have an iPhone 12 and on lock screen when a tweet comes in or text the screen lights up and I can read it without touching the phone
So have an 8 I haven't touched for a while did the 11 update and now its working on the 8 too but anyway to increase the time the lock screen stays on? its turning off a little to fast and is there also away to increase font size with out 3 party apps for lock screen messages?
This is how it looks on an iPhone
