Hi, which version of the application are you currently using?
Has anyone found a working version? I found that GCam 8.0 by BSG (MGC_8.0.0.18_A9_V0e) is working, but not switching between lenses. Could someone help with that?
https://1-dontsharethislink.celsoaz...7.3.018_Urnyx05-v2.1_Wichaya_V3.0_snapcam.apk
Thank you! Lenses are working well, but there is no EIS (( I mean it does not work.
The last Wichaya port works almost perfectly, switching between lenses works OK, however the ultrawide lens has a wider range in the original camera than in the gcam port, therefore there is an ugly black area below the picture. Probably there is some disproportion between setting of the gcam and the actual sensor.
Did you find any gcam with working astrophotography?
Someone please provide link for gcam with all working lenses on realme x50 pro running on android 11, i tried almost all gcams but while switching bw lenses igcam keeps on crashing.

I making this thread for Realme X2 Gcam 7+ because the settings and tweaking are a bit different from the the 6.2 and 6.3 Here
This is to avoid confusion as I won't have time to do tweaks on both 6+ and 7+ so, that it.
After trying over 25 different Gcam ports, I finally got a Gcam 7.2 that works for Realme X2 but you have to tweak the settings like I did to get the best.
The full tutorial is on YouTube Here:
I will drop some camera samples and the screenshot of my settings here incase you don't have time to watch the tutorial.
While you are there, you can also watch Adobe photoshot camera for Realme X2 too. I was surprised it worked fine.
It blew away the stock cam in Night sight there is no need to talk about the Astrophotography and I didn't bother uploading the samples comparisons between Night scape and Astrophotography - it's not a fair fight. But you can see it in the video.
Low noise, more details, close to real life color reproduction, and ability to tweak makes this 7.2 a thing of joy.
Still no 4k video but 1080p 30/60fps works fine.
No slow motion and wide angle lens too.
Apart from these, everyother thing works fine.
Great credits to @Urnyx05 who ported the camera for ( several devices) of which realme-x2 isn't one of.
I added a new seperate Youtube video tutorial Mastering Gcam v7.2 Advanced Settings for Realme X2
So you can watch that if you want to get the best images from your Gcam.
I am adding the direct link of the of the Gcam 7.2 by Unryx05 I used to be sure some people don't download the wrong one and have other issues I didn't experience. As I said in the video, I've tested over 25 different Gcam ports so make sure you are using the exact one I am using so as to Easy replicate the issues you are experiencing with my device. And talking about devices mine is Realme X2 EU Version (8/128G) RMX1993.

Turn off motion pictures and make sure your
Google photos is up to date.
Clearing app data might help.
Also let me know what operation you carry out before it crashes.
Hmmm Curious, when I toggle on, enable 2nd and 3rd lenses, I cant even open the app. I have to reinstall.
Added additional screenshots of my settings and tweaks. When I am less busy I'll write the full details here but until then, you can watch the video tutorial for now.
Interesting......
I grabbed the lastest from celsoazevedo, and I was using the latest Urnyx: Urnyx05: GCam_7.2.010_Urnyx05-v1.5.apk
but yours is v1.4.
v1.4 works.
I wonder what the small change is....(rhetorical)

Hi, thank you so much for the detailed guide and feedback, I'm waiting/looking for a version with slow motion and wide lens working, but still had no success. Please let we know if you find something.:fingers-crossed:
For those who are looking for a working Gcam, I am working on one with the great devs for Gcam including Urnyx05. The problem with Realme and BBK devices are they do not have correct color for gcam to process. Arnova helped greatly to fix it, and Cstark's apk works somewhat now. Also we will never be able to access the ultrawide lens or any other lens as Realme did not grant camera2 ID or access to them. Potentially root could work, but I am rooted but nothing works. We really need a kernel dev for our devices.

I almost gave up on Gcam because of that 'annoying' color processing from realme. But once I learnt to tweak it, I got a higher saturation with Gcam more than the stock cam, I knew that the Realme X2 has a great future with custom Roms. We just have to wait at least for Indian lunch on 17th Dec and maybe the customization will bloom.

Also, can confirm that Slow Motion and Selfie Portrait crash the app. (currently on OP7pro 10.3.0)

That's really odd about the settings, mine looks totally different. Are you using some magisk module or custom kernel?

Hmm, it must be some combination of Bliss Rom/kernel that is enabling a different menu and front Portrait. I'm on stock 10.3.0.
I read in another thread that the GCam app needs to be a system app (in the system/priv-app folder) to enable access to the aux cameras. I tried moving the app folder there, but it just moved itself back after a reboot. I'm seeing if I can move the app some other way. Not sure if any of those Magisk modules from your screenshot would help with the app settings.
Edit: successfully converted the app to a system app using the App Systemizer Magisk module. Made no difference for the settings (still don't see options for aux cams). Oh well, must be a rom/kernel issue. Thanks for you help!

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for the Parrot version, only the Urnyx. The colors on the Parrot version are pretty bad, and the selfie cam won't work (3/4 cameras not working) so I've switched to Urnyx, and have the tele/zoom/selfie lenses all working now, but lost Astrophotography. Oh well, I give up.

For me, the colors on the PMGC 7.2.014 were terrible (initially pale, unsaturated; improved a bit with saturation settings) but I just couldn't get the white balance right.
I've attached 4 pics: Stock 10.3.0 cam (default), Stock 10.3.0 HDR forced on, Urnyx05 7.2.010 (1.6), and PMGC 7.2.014.
(Note: It seems you can get different settings based on your rom/kernel, so your results may vary.)
I preferred the Urnyx05 7.2.010 (HDR always on) slightly over Stock with HDR (though, depending on how you like your shadows, you might even prefer stock). The color accuracy between these 2 was the same. Stock without HDR didn't handle shadows well, and PMGC needs settings adjusted before it's functional.

The above review and attached screenshots refer to the main camera. I just realized you were asking about the aux cams. I compared the Stock HDR vs Urnyx Gcam HDR (I suspect the PMGC will have similar results as the Urnyx after adjusting the color/saturation settings):
Telephoto (Zoom): Stock starts "3x", Urnyx Gcam is labelled "2x" but is showing only a slightly wider field of view than stock. Stock appears to be zooming/cropping some of the native image. Color accuracy is about the same. Default settings in Gcam make the picture undersaturated (like PMGC), but given the Lib Patcher settings, contrast & saturation can be boosted to match stock. About a tie here once you play with the Gcam settings.
Wide: Once again, Stock cam crops/zooms into the native image more, so the Urnyx Gcam has a wider image. However, Urnyx Gcam makes no lens correction and the edges are pretty distorted. The colors on this lens showed the most difference, with the stock being slightly more saturated with a much better HDR result, while the Urnyx Gcam is lighter/less saturated (likely adjustable in GCam's additional settings), but not a great HDR output. Stock cam wins here, with the significantly better HDR and lens correction. (Note: attached images are cropped for privacy; upper-right ~75% of the image is shown)

I tried Gcam and I am unable to change to the wide angle camera.
By mistake I deleted the camera application that came with the phone in error as it was in Chinese.
How and where can I get the original APK file for the latest stock camera?
Otherwise what other camera application can I use that will allow me to change camera, iso, etc.

I alternate between MWP-NoiC library and Matteo19 library depending upon the light. You can go to the telegram group Gcam Libs and try out various libraries yourself.
edit: this was a reply to berserker2702's question which was a separate thread, it has nothing to do with motion. IMO there was no need to consolidate because it is totally different even though it is related to gcam.

Yeah when you select the Pixel 6 UI the Motion modes appear but I haven't had much success using them. It takes the photo no problem but then it gets stuck with the notification... Good day fellow PX3PRO user.
I really like to stay on Pixel like custom rom for it's dynamic refresh rate and aesthetic of course but the problem is the camera. Even the very well lighted shot looks dark. The output result was very pale. I already tried and use gcam and tweaks the settings but same result. I tried to integrated MIUI Cam magisk module but it didn't work. The camera app won't open. PixyOs has this built in cam that output an okay result but lacks in features. Any help?
