Hello everyone,
I have noticed, by changing the kernel with MiPa, battery life lost 6% (approximately 200mAh). On the other hand SOT it is more or less the same
Battery life percentage was calculated with Accubattery

I've been getting horrible battery life and have some bad wakelocks from System, OS and Play Services....but my question here what does the OS see as the battery size? I thought the S7 had a 3000 mAh battery. But when I look at my battery stats, I see 456 mAh calculated for Android System. If that has used up 25% of my consumed battery, that suggests that the OS thinks I've used 1824 mAh. And for the OS thinks I've got 13% remaining after using 1824 mAh, the OS must think I have a battery that's only 2096 mAh in capacity. When I do the same calculation for the other listed battery users, I keep getting a number roughly equivalent to 2100-2200 mAh capacity. So is it a 2100 mAh battery, or 3000 mAh?
See here for screenshots - that's with only 1hr 23min SOT. This is a Verizon S7 (not Edge), so it's SD820.
hello guys.i have a question.i bought second hand s6 edge plus.its actual battery capacity is 3000 mah.My battery downed from 100% to 20% in 4 hours. I have checked battery usage of screen wifi network apps.its total battery usage is 700 mah . i think my battery dead.Am i right?
Is it me or when screen is off this phone still drain noticable amount of battery like 5% in 3:30hrs. P. S. No app is running in background. The battery usage shows xiaomi service framework and google taking 20% of battery total.
Edit : just saw on standby mode - radio battery drain is using up my battery, any fix for this?
I was also getting a 7 - 8% overnight battery drain which was unacceptable, however, I used the adb debloat tools to remove most of the shady systen apps that xiaomi pre-installs on the device and after that the drain doesn't happen at all. My phone sleeps like a baby with only 1 - 2 % drain overnight.

Is there a way to determine which miui tools are the ones draining the battery?
Recently, I've come to know the concept of Battery Life Cycles.
I checked my Galaxy S9's which is 1560 and my battery lasts a day with minimal use having mobile data enabled all the time.
How can I know the official or ideal Battery Life Cycle Count of my phone's battery??

Battery Life and How To Improve It
Hi all,
My phone drained 14 percent battery yesterday while idle for 9 hours. The interesting thing is when i add the mAh usages that i see in battery and performance tab it only adds up to 6 percent battery usage. ( i calculated and confirmed with time that 40 mah is aproximately 1% battery)
Also this morning i am seeing an unusual drain as well while the screen is on, it drained 5% but it should have draned only 3% because it says it drained 138 mAh.
Does anyone have any idea about this problem?
This also happened 2 weeks ago and the only thing common both days were, i charged my phone slower (charged using usb on the car) instead of using fast charging.
I also leave the screen shots that shows the battery usage.
Put the phone into Airplane mode when idle: this may save some battery.

yes of course but the battery drain I explained sometimes happens I actually think its a battery indicator bug. Because it shouldn't be draining this much battery because it doesn't show any unusual drain on battery information screen contradicting the percentage lost (14% battery was drained but according to battery information screen it should be 6%)
