Is it possible to downgrade from A.22 to A.20 on the Rmx2075 version - Realme X50 Pro Questions & Answers

Like the title says, is it possible to rollback to an earlier firmware. I seem to be having an issue with A.22. It keeps rebooting while I'm connected to my car on Bluetooth...
I have factory reset and it still does it..
I've had the phone 3 days. Out of the box was version A.18 and immediately it updated itself to A.22
I had no time at all to use it with A.18 so I don't know if the phone or firmware is at fault.
I am trying to see if one of the apps I have installed is causing the issue. But I was thinking it may just be quicker to rollback to an earlier firmware...
Is there any program, like Samsung's Odin for example, that I can use along with the A.20 firmware I have.
I have looked all over Web and can't find anything.
Or failing that, sucking it up and waiting for next firmware release. How quickly do Realme release firmware.? Coming from Honor Note 10 and that was often at all..... Lol

Well after a few days of extensive trial and error, it seems its not the Bluetooth that's causing the phone to reboot, but using the GPS.
Every time I use tomtom, Google maps, sygic etc the phone reboots..
So I'm gonna have to wait to see if its a hardware issue or firmware... Waiting for next firmware update. If it still does it I may have to return the device.....

I'm also having an issue where the phone locks up, screen goes off and phone reboots, When I force my phone to 3G or 2G only then it doesn't happen. So I think Realme has messed up 4G. I hope they fix it in the next update.

What I don't get is why mine only randomly reboots while using GPS sat nav apps.
Does yours do it whenever? Or only in the car?
How do you force 3G only. As I don't have that in my settings..... Only have 2 choices
5G/4G/3G/2G/ OR 4G/3G/2G.
I have mine on the latter and have also turned off 'Smart 5G' option.
My next trips to work I will turn off mobile data, thus only having 2G, and see if this helps...
And yes let's hope this gets fixed in the next firmware update.

You can use an app called Radio switcher in the play store, mine only reboots when I'm getting a 4G signal, when I'm forced to 3G only I never get a problem.

I've received no fix yet, maybe when the next security patch update comes through..... I'm still on May security patch.
So far my phone only reboots when using a GPS app. Tomtom or Google maps for example. Otherwise don't have an issue. Haven't actually had a Chance to try radio switcher workaround yet.
Yes everything is in English when selected during first set up.... Not come across any Chinese.
From what I understand RMX2075 is the Global Rom, RMX2076PU is Indian Rom, RMX2076EU is the European Rom and RMX2071 is the Chinese Rom. But I may be mistaken.

yeah i just restored my phone from bamf back to stock, but its still rooted, its already got the updated radio from here, oh well we will see, shame its put my phone in 1X while its downloading, better plug this on charge lol

Maybe the delay was because they were patching up the issues many were having with the leaked version. Lets hope so anyway.

+1 I also heard (rumor) that they also pulled it because of the LTE/eHRPD issues and now that they've supposedly fixed them they're comfortable pushing this RUU back out. Of course it's all speculation unless they actually make a statement.

If they pulled it to make changes to the radio it would not be released with the same version number, which this one appears to be. Also, there is no way a new radio version would make it through VZW's QC group that quickly.
Looks like I'm already have the update according to the baseband and other stuff a few posts back??

Pull the update.zip from /cache before you apply it.
Then upload it so we can rip it apart. You can also run a logcat and just get the link for us.

They were making changes to the software that the cell sites (BSSs) use. The new radio firmware for the phone wasn't happy with some BSSs. That's why some people had reboots, and others were fine - it depended on the local BSS (probably related to who made it - Nortel, Motorola, Lucent, etc.). The new radio worked fine for me at home, but when I traveled to another city, I had frequent reboots.
That's why they disabled eHRPD for a while - until they could get all the problem sites updated with newer software. eHRPD is back on now, and they're restarting the phone radio rollout.
The reboot problem was caused by software in the cell sites, not the phone.

Makes sense mike...thanks. I figured it had to be site issues when I had problems at home but not at work hitting LTE after the outage (where before I could hit LTE at both with no problems.) The site at work would affect way more customers than the site near my home.
Shouldn't apply update if rooted.

No update yet for me. That released leak is scarry. I really don't want to use anything other than.. 7cdma and 6lte radio combo. I'll wait until others report on this new ota before hbooting again.

If you're rooted, don't apply the update.
Or do we not have a choice if we are on stock root? Will it just force itself?

[Q] OPO flashed on CM11s - Mobile Data issues

[/ATTACH]Hello my friends,
I really need your help now. Since the Oneplus One is so new there are only few people having experience with the smartphone and it's Problems. I searched the whole Internet but dit not find anyone with the OPO who has the same Problem as me..
My OPO is the chinese Version and i flashed it without PC on CM11s.
But I found that my Smartphone has got no mobile Internet and also I am not able to call someone.
After I saw this I flashed the phone two more times, but with my PC and fastboot. I used the Images here: https: //cyngn.com /products /oneplusone/
Once I flashed my phone with PC and fastboot I got mobile data sometimes for about one or two minutes, after that it breaks down.
My APN's are the same with my Provider.
I tried to solve this Problem for the whole weekend, I now even consider selling the phone again..
It would be really really nice if someone is able to help me!

I had a similar problem. I had a sim card trimmed with scissors and was too loose.
I replaced the card with a new one.
A problem, however, remained. Sometimes I can not call, sometimes not the Internet. It looks like something crashed and helps only restart.
You tried to upload the "modem chack"?
I have the same problem. I hope it is not something with hardware.

I'm having the same problem, the phone was working just fine when i first used it on ColorOs with voice calls working on 4g. however, as soon as I flashed CM11 it stopped working and I can only use 2g to make phone calls even though 4g internet works fine. I have flashed ColorOs but a rooted one, CM11 and other roms the problem is still there. If some one can find a solution for us I would be grateful.

I have the same issue, after flashing to CM11s, its like the cell network is sick, turn on for a while, then off. when the phone is in the pocket (sleep) totally not network, and people cannot call in.
I flash back to Colour OS, more stable and 4G is working fine.

WiFi drop on 5.1?

It's a couple of times i unlock my phone and i notice the wifi has disconnected, then it riconnects itself. It also happened at first flash of 5.1, right after the setup wizard.
Any known WiFi drops bugs on 5.1?
I am using Cataclysm + EX.
I am not able to provide any adb logcat because it doesn't seem to happen all the times, sorry.
It's becoming a week known issue.
Seems to be a fault in the Wi-Fi settings where the phone is not keeping the Wi-Fi on when the phone sleeps (even though it's set to do that).
I would go back to an older version (5.0.1) until these retards rectify.

The real issue (at least for me) is that when the phone sleeps and the wifi drops, it enables data network, and I have not unlimited data plan...
How is possible nobody is talking about that wifi behavior ?!
Happened once or twice but that's it.
Someone on G+ that had our same issue said he turned off automatic wifi freq (wifi > advanced) and the drop never happened again.. yet.
That's not a proper fix but better than nothing.

Yeah, I read somewhere that the connection could be better if you keep just one band on, so I tried it. Still having the same problem

Question Stuttering Issues on Just-Recived Red Magic Pro 7

Fired the phone up to find even the simplest games (Candy Crush!) freeze for a second over and over (audio, also) while playing, never mind even trying to load Genshin Impact. Reset twice and still the same. It even affects YouTube vidoes, hell, ANY video. Red Magic US Canada site is wonky and very difficult to get hold of someone or even a return form. Anyone else having this problem?

With gaming performance I don't have any issue and no stuttering at all. Are you running the game with game space switch on?
What is btw your software version here in Europe it's NX709J_EUcommon_V4.08
Yes, Game Space, everything. Even videos stall. I think I just got a bad one, but getting hold of soemone to return is a nightmare. Hmmm...my version is NX709J_UNcommon_V3.08 with no option to upgrade.

hmm kinda weird i hope they provide the full rom for Global version on the site. or maybe a update with some fixes but we already know that the software support on redmagic phones are bad.
I THINK I finally figured it out. Once you set everything up and update apps, there is ANOTHER prompt to Finish Setting Up Your RedMagic Pro 7. If you hit that, it really doesn't do anything other than says it's finishing up, and after it's done THAT's when the stuttering begins on videos and games. Unfortunately, the prompt keeps popping up daily, which you can dismiss but only for the day, as it rears its head the next day. Anyway, working fine now and I really like the phone. But beware, good luck getting anything other than canned responses from the Nubia support line. I kept insisting I wanted to return the phone and they kept asking additional questions about the make/model, etc. which was just going to continue until the 2-week return period was up. If anyone discovers a way to delete this prompt, please let me know.

Have you tried updating the phones the firmware on the site is newer version.
You can download the zip file on your phone and update the phone using the local software update mode.
Maybe you can clear the cache of the Google apps.
For me the Google play store system update is stuck on December update for now.
I've cleared the cache on just about everything. Stupid question, but where can I find the firmware version on my phone? I dont see it anywhere under About Phone

Go to system update and you will see the region and the version .
i had this same problem on my redmagic 7. I posted a youtube video that i had to show to the redmagic repair. I ended up sending it back for a refund and getting the redmagic 7 pro.
I finally figured it out, after the setup, it came back with a "Finish setting Up Your Phone" prompt, which caused the stuttering after reboot. There was nothing else to set up anyway, so I reinstalled, ignored the prompt and disabled the Android Set-Up function, buried somewhere deep. It worked and since the recent updates have had no problem whatsoever. Nubia help is awful they just keep repeating things and telling me they're working on it.

I've got the NX709J... running on
NX709J_UNCommon_V3.19 and I'm having same issue... Wasn't doing it on the previous version 3.17.. you can try updating using ADB.. work for me

I've been told that there's some incompatibility issues with the OS which could cause some apps to stop working. They believe at the moment that reinstalling the app will workaround the issue for now

The team have identified a few minor issues which can cause compatibility issues with some app which they wish to address. In response to this they have withdrawn the update from their side for UK region customers.
Other global customers can proceed with the update as they wish.

I'm running the final release (C.35) and for me it's been fine. Have asked for clarity on what the issue is but no response as yet

Yeah not encountered anything yet all the little annoyances from the beta seem fixed.
Though I still need to do a full wipe on my phone because of going up a major version of Android from 12 to Beta and Beta to Stable
Doesn't sound too critical a problem but hang fire if you can is the advice.

Ah ok nothing major then thankfully.
I'll be Factory Resetting so it should negate this issue anyways as I always manually re-install apps a fresh rather than bring data with them
If I see any issues, I will either factory reset or just try uninstalling and reinstalling the apps that crash!
Hello, I don't know if the same thing happens to someone else, but in the official version the button to activate the automatic brightness has disappeared, in the Beta it was there and now it isn't. The curious thing is that in Android 12 it wasn't there either, it appeared when installing the beta version of android 13.
I don't have the automatic brightness button either.
I guess it's incompatibility with some UK carrier apps or configs then.
I guess this is why I downloaded the 2.6gb update and then it disappeared into the ether when it asked me to install.

Could I ask where you downloaded this from ?
Version C.37 is now available -- i used a vpn and downloaded via france using phone update system
The Photos app has been crashing since the 13 update. I've been trying to delete a couple of photos and the app crashes each time, I can't reinstall it, as it's part of the OS. This is actually a major issue for me, it's one of my most-used apps. It might have been nice to get a heads-up not to install the update. Shutting down and restarting do not help.

Only got the device yesterday and upgraded to android 13 factory reset and transferred over. Just checked and can confirm no issues deleting from default gallery here.
I know it's a pita but maybe a reset and restore given the Android upgrade.

I've just stumbled on a fix - I'd tried a forced stop of the gallery app and that did nothing, so I thought I'd try deleting the pix with Google Photos. Same issue, repeatedly crashed. So I tried a forced stop on that app and bingo - THAT worked. Phew. Photos finally deleted and the default app is working normally.
