So today I wipe my data/factory reset cuz some apps didn't work for me cause it will pop-up "you have a rooted phone" (i have not) and now, my phone just loops the SAMSUNG logo 24/7, i did install TWRP in my phone and factory reset and wiped data, also tried to "repair" Internal Storage but it will pop up "invalid partition selection" also, after everything that i did it will always say "failed to mount /cpfes". And when i tried to flash with ODIN an original firmware just says error. And in my download mode says "device 9, binary 8" idk how to fix this, i tried to flash the firmware from TWRP by an SD-card but it will say error. I tried to just mount de AP in ODIN too but will say Device 6, binary 5.
please help me, i don't know what to do, and i have downloaded the last firmware too.

Hi all,
hope you can help me with this one...
I came from Beanstalk 4.4.240, rooted it way back, everything worked fine.
Now I wanted to get back to stock 2.3.6.... First I tried Heimdall, but its not detecting the phone, although Windows does (Sound at USB connection).
Therefore I switched to Odin as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1613523
I used the Option A, adhered to all the rules (including step 4 of wiping cache and data).
Odin flashed successfully.
After reboot though I get the following error in the red recovery mode (after the update package installed successfully):
"e: format_volume: rfs format failed on dev-block-stl10"
"wipe cache not successful"
I then did the cache wipe manually, and it does it successfully.
Upon rebooting though its stuck on the ATT logo loop...
When I then go into recovery mode, the following message appears:
"e:copy_dbdata_media: cant mount /dbdata your storage not prepared yet, please use UI menu for fomrat and reboot actions
Media files copy failed.
#Manual Mode#
...
Successfully applied multi-CSC"
Any ideas what to do here? I'm thinking it could be a partitioning problem...
I just want to make sure I flash the correct thing to fix this...
Oh and currently I moved on to Option B of the odin pack from above in the hope it could fix it - flash is successful, but error messages are completly the same...
Any help is highly appreciated!!!
Fixed
So I tried a different package with PIT, PDA & Phone (this buddy here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27286083)
...and it worked!! Im back at stock
The Wifi on my phone wasn't turning on, even after factory reset, so I reflashed stock ROM via Odin (v3.07)
I got stuck in a bootloop, and after factory reset via the stock recovery + wipe of cache partition, it was still stuck.
I then re-flashed the stock ROM. Still stuck.
Tried using Kies 3, with the firmware upgrade and installation tab. Said something about not supporting my phone when I was prompted to plug it in. (SM-G355H; Samsung Galaxy Core II Duos)
I then found an unofficial version of CWM v6 for my phone (there's no official support), and quickly flashed that (via Odin 3.09; which is what I use from this point on), forgetting that my phone was no longer rooted. I wiped davlik cache and data. Still stuck. Then I rooted my phone. Stuck.
Then I reflashed stock ROM (this time, I downloaded from another website) (to test my luck, I tried seeing if simply a factory reset and cache wipe would work. It did not) rooted my phone, and flashed CWM. Wiped davlik cache. Still stuck.
By the way, when I wipe davlik cache it says:
Warning: no file_contexts
E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
Davlik Cache wiped.
Any ideas on what to do now? I can't send it to a manufacturer / repair store where I live. I'm thinking maybe I should untick Auto Reboot and/or F. Reset Time when flashing, use an earlier version of Odin or the ROM itself, or maybe there is something I can do with ADB? I'm not very familiar with it, but I'm more than willing to learn. I just need some direction...
Update: Flashed with Auto Reboot unticked. Still in bootloop.
Flashed with same ROM, different country. Still in bootloop.
Alright, I fixed it by using Kies, via firmware upgrade and installation. You have to ignore where it says that your device is not supported, and just leave it to download. If you get stuck on the setup screen like I did, try cache wipe + factory reset. If it doesn't work flash an earlier version of the firmware. You might be using the wrong region (It's not always your country), use Kies to check. When it tells you what pda/ modem / csc it wants to update the region will be in parentheses ( eg ACR). Use all of them possible
Hi I am trying to fix a friend's tablet and it's stuck at the bootloader. I have tried to wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and already flashed a stock firmware via Odin (v3.07) without success and when I enter in recovery mode the following error appears:
"failed to compare 'system/csc/common/system/wallpaper/default_wallpaper/default_wallpaper.png' 'system/wallpaper/default_wallpaper/default_wallpaper.png' (No data available)"
It looks like the wallpaper default file was deleted. Maybe you can attach it to a PC and create a null default_wallpaper.png
Hi friends, my samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100), got soft bricked after an official software update. I tried to recover it by doing few processes that i found here on this forum, but none worked for me. Here is the list of procedures i did and their out come. please read them and lem me know what can i do further.
1. Tried to factory reset and clear cache partition and reboot: when i entered the android official recovery (Android system recovery<3e>, KOT49H.N7100XXUFNL1) it shows
E: failed to mount/cache (no such file or directory)
E: Can't mount/cache /last_recovery
E: failed to mount/data (no such file or directory)
E: Can't mount/data /log/recovery _log.txt
E: Can't mount/cache /last_install
etc.... in red scrolling and finallly shows rebbo system /wipe data/factory reset options , even after doing factory reset and or wiping cache partition it still unable to bootup, struck at samsung logo screen.
2. Tried to install custom recovery TWRP.. failed to install, i tried different versions of TWRP specified for my phone , and also with different versions of odin.. still unable to install
3. Tried to flash official rom downloaded from sammobile, via odin, but this also failed.
4. tried to root by CF-Autoroot through odin. but failed again.
Note: My phone was on official ROM and recovery when it was bricked, and was never touched to root or flash anything into it before. and i never activated developer options in my phone and the USB debugging mode is also never activated.
please suggest me how to trouble shoot this now. I am not a techie, i just learned above procedures from forums like this, so please try to give me detailed step by step procedures. thanks.

Greetings and welcome to assist. It sounds like you need to flash a pit file. The easiest way to recover your device is use kies/smart switch emergency firmware recovery. Unfortunately this will wipe all your data but should fix the phone
Good Luck

I have an old Samsung 5670 and decided to flash cyanogen 11. I successfully installed clockwork 6.0.4.5-beni and then i flashed cm-11-20140116-NIGHTLY-beni, wipe data, wiped cache and dalvik and everything worked just fine. And then, dissaster came: i tried to install gapps and since then (i got a message that flashing was successful) and since then, everytime i turn on my phone i can only enter into the os but the only thing i see is battery status and time on the upper right corner and the rest of the screen is black. I can swipe from the top (i can see the date and time and a "emergency calls only" message).
I tried wipe data/factory reset from recovery, wiped cache and dalvik, i even re-flashed cm 11 and i am still having the same issue. I tried to flash a different rom (miui 2.4.20) but im getting an "installation aborted" message. Even tried to flash the stock rom with odin but though i have installed the usb drivers odin can not "see" my device.
And yes, i was stupid enough not to take a nandroid backup
So now what? Is there a way to fix this?
