And it'd be nice to have hardware keys backlit like in lineage with a timeout (when in use).
Led notification per app basis opens app notification manager only. Having on/off toggle and color per app would be lovely!
Also, is this slick rom available for OnePlus 6?

Great extra features! I was thinking that it was going to be antoher "alt version" of RR, crDroid... Hope the battery life will be good.
I notice lags with the notification panel especially when I open/close the panel or when I swipe notifications to remove them.

"Last app" feature for HW navigation doesn't seem to work. Could it be related to OnePlus recent apps? I think I'll remove it anyway.

awesome rom， decided to stay.
several problem found:
1. change resolution cause a wide status bar. zen config ui perform as following pictures.
2. button setting: double tap to last app not work, I guess maybe related to op launcher recent switcher.
3. ultra battery seems not ultra, I'll disable play service to see again.

with 应用控制器 to force doze, and froze play service, keep mobile signal, disable wifi and mobile data, finally I got a horizon line
the ZenX OS is the first and the only one pie rom can doze a horizon line on the condition, not the havoc, NOS, blissrom, msmextent, luis rc, I've been trying for a long time.... Thanks dev:silly:
I'll continue the test to make more satisfying outcome.
I've faced heavy heat without using any heavy app, just the launch and several messages sometime.
if wifi on there will be the heat after screen light on for 10mins(battery profile is same as balance profile)
I guess there may remain some problem with kernel govorn. with data on, idle drain is back even though I using force doze cmd to doze after screen blacked 5 mins. doze status are normal, no touch no wake.
another bug is charging current so little. any charging with a charger in socket will get 9-100ma，but It will raise to 1.5a when charging by my quick charge bank(5v3a or 9v2a）

Edit: I've tested several charger, I found some of them is normal, but some charger without quick charge function will run in low current(especially computer usb whether usb2.0 or usb3.0)

I have installed on my device over small EUI , clean falsh. ROM is smooth , all basic funcionality works perfect. I am not heavy user, using this as my daly driver.
But battery dain over night was nightmare. it was 52 % when I was going to sleep, morning it was 20%, do I need to wait for few more days to caliberate ? or any issue that can be fixed in furtther update.
My other concern is : My device is unrooted ( even checked with root checker now), but banking application says it is rooted device. I remember Pixelexperence can use financial applications right out of the box with out doing any magisk hide or any other actions.
Is there a way to skip this check for these apps ( I know it can be done from magisk, anything else with in this ROM) ??

I have installed this Rom and am really pleased to say that it supports dirty flashing. I dirty flashed it over Arrow OS and it picked up all the appropriate settings and booted properly.
Havoc OS as usual brings all sorts of customizations that you'll ever need and even more than you can imagine. The Rom seems slightly unstable as sometimes the phone hangs and makes the windows 10 default error sound. The lockscreen takes a second or two to load , so there is a slight delay in unlocking. Otherwise the rom is pretty good. There are quite a few bugs in Havoc OS settings (like colorfade not working and many more) and some OS bugs like when black theme is active , if you press and hold the spacebar in Gboard, The options are almost invisible. The bugs are not major.
Also, I would like to see an option to set any manually input color as theme accent color. Also, the power menu is not getting changed to theme color and is black and white, something that I would like to see being changed to black and theme color.
The battery life is terrible. Battery drops at a phenomenal rate while watching video or doing anything. Even while standby, the battery drops at a very high rate, unlike Arrow OS. Also, the battery percentage is not actively updated for battery level changes. It drops by 2-3 % at one go, instead of by one. Hoping to see these fixed in upcoming versions. I'll be using this Rom as a daily driver . Screen on time is about 3-4 hrs(mixed usage) compared to 6-7 hrs on Arrow OS. Also, for some reason CPU hotplugging option in Kernel adiutor is not present even on supported kernel. The battery level detection is way off. Simply rebooting the phone changes the battery percentage by as much as ±25%.
It even has three finger screen shot (The detection is a bit off and doesn't get detected or is often slow[It assumes I am trying to scroll and starts scrolling and then takes the screen shot so it's a bit finicky]) and gesture navigation! It's awesome. The smartbar navigation customizations are only working sometimes. And I am running into black screens quite frequently because the OS is a bit slow to load it.
The OS feels a bit laggy. Hope it gets snappier.
The battery capacity is showing as null mAh. Hope it gets fixed (screenshot attached).On activating After screen turns off settings (like drop to 2G and turn off GPS ) the phone takes a lot of time to wake up.

I am confused. With all those listed deficiencies, the ROM is pretty good?
Soooo ... if LOS 15.1 doesn't have any of those "minor bugs", then it must mean that LOS is PERFECT!

At the end of the day it is about what you end up with. Havoc Os pie has lots of customizations, which you won't find anywhere else. For some minor inconveniences, I don't wanna Miss out on functionality. If you prefer stability over features, LOS is the way to go. Btw, isn't LOS 15.1 Oreo?

Instead of mocking me and the devs, you should appreciate their hard work and time put into this. If reliability we're on the top of your list , why don't you just stick with the stock rom? The point of a custom OS is bringing more features to a device.
Update:
For some reason CPU hot plugging support is disabled in Havoc OS and cannot be activated even with a custom Kernel. The Rom is poorly optimized. It's heating up the phone a lot. Maximum brightness and Volume is lower than stock. All The CPU cores are constantly being kept online, which is using a lot of battery during standby. I might have to go back to Arrow OS if these issues are not fixed soon.

Perfect rom thanks dev..but few things missing from Havoc oreo like in livedisplay section the option to adjust colour,saturation and tint. It was the best settings which would make the display more vibrant. Request you to incorporate the same in next build

Viewing a video in watsapp not crashing the app anymore.
Jet Audio stop crashing if i receive or make a call while i listen to music.
Another bug i found: led doesn't blink when i have a message received, it works only on missed calls.
And also, it is possible to make the led to close when the phone is charged full? I have the same problem on Havoc on R5+ and it was never solved.

I used Havoc till yesterday and i recognized that apps opening slower and the random wifi disconnect. Dont know if its fixed on latest build. I used build from 12.01.2020.
Anyway... I tried different Kernels and found out that F1Xy Kernel and Havoc works perfect for me. No problems anymore.
Maybe it helps you too.

Where is this kernel thread I want to see some details about it?
The default camera for version 3.0 was gcam, but for version 3.1, it seems to be not the case. Please confirm if we need to install gcam separately.

3.0 was unofficial build.. Cannot include gcam for official builds so you need to install it seperately
I am facing connectivity issues on official 3.1. Several apps are not connecting to the Internet properly including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, vk, chrome. Several other apps that work upon steady Internet connection like clash of clans, clash royale etc. are working fine. Speed test by ookla gives a high speed rating (screenshot attached).
I have deleted my havoc 3.0 unofficial zip. Can you please share it with me? Would like to revert back for now.

The banking app connection bug was solved today by an update they made :victory:
Waiting for a solve regarding the led not blinking on receiving messages and the fact the led is not closing on full charge.

U can use open gapps I am using it currently...
And the screenshots are of the official rom coz official rom has faceunlock but no official hasnot

Can be fixed with a third party app.

Yeah everything is good. Battery backup is fantastic. Played few games with minor heating issues. But I think it's because of the hardware limitations.

I am using most of the usual UPI Apps with root access. I haven't not tried it without root access. But magisk hide is working so far. I am using Netflix as well after sideloading.

That's great thanks...on a usual case I'd try it out myself but this is for a relative who won't understand these things and I don't really have the flexibility to mess around as I do with my own devices...Anyways thanks this has been of great help

There Will Be Another Update With In 2-3 Days
Enabling Hardware keys disables Gestures, independent toggles for gestures and buttons would be great. I know it's clumsy but I'm used to having both gestures and hardware buttons. Honestly that's the only thing that bothers me, otherwise ROM is snappy with many unique customizations that make up a great experience. Great work Dev!

I tried to install it, but ended always in fastboot mode.
Firmware/Vendor 12.30 global, Data formatted, latest TWRP, decrypted.
Is it necessary to install Gapps or MicroG with the Rom?

try to flash in this order, and it will surely boot:
1-fw+vendor
2-rom
3-gapps
4-DFE
5-magisk 21.4 (only this version)
(or instead of 4&5, search for a file named "DISABLE FORCE ENCRYPTION TREBLE v21.4 - STABLE" on google and flash it)

Can you please remove the necessity of flashing DFE (or Magisk)?
