https://ibb.co/86gQMc3 This is the same photo. The thumbnail shows the image as taken from the viewfinder but when I actually open the photo it is some milliseconds before pressing the button. This is a major problem and it needs to be fixed! Any idea on what might cause this?

I cant open the picture or screenshots you gave.
Yeah, because you don't have ois, even when you press the shutter button, you make the phone move a little. I get the same thing with the front cam

I just got the 4.4.2 update, but I am still unable to take a picture of text on paper and get a readable image.
I see the crosshair in the camera app rotate and lock on, but there is no apparent change in focus.
Is there something I can do to reset the camera hardware? Is it possible there's something wrong with the hardware?

go to the phones main settings, apps, all, camera.. not press the clear data button. now try it again.

I leave to you the last application that I've done. It's an application that makes pictures really fast, without having to open the camera application (it takes time to open). You simply touch the icon and make a photo with focus and flash in automatic mode. It's up to 3 times faster than the camera application preinstalled!

quick photos, understandable regarding quality.
but ive noticed everytime I take a pic where the view finder is shown, as soon as the pics taken it's like the pics been squashed.. kinda like zoomed in..
also go to gallery button shows FC

I used to get a lot of camera shots with my A2 but now I noticed that all pics has a very slim and long green line at the most left part of the photo.....is it related to software? "I mean I haven't faced or *noticed* that issue in stock ICS before" now I'm on SlimKat for 3 months and use it every day (that's why I flashed it over the stock rom in system1) or is it a hardware problem? someone face that issue also or I'm alone with that

Note: that line doesn't appear while talking picture "in viewfinder" it appears only after talking pic and saving it..I also tried other 3 party camera apps and got same line...I tried to change settings from 8MP to 5MP and the line was reduced but not vanished...anyone having this issue please confirm.

I'm having some trouble with my brand new S7's camera. I went out to try it yesterday and I somehow cannot get it to focus correctly; when it does so, it focuses only partially, leaving part of the image blurred. I took these pictures on Auto mode without changing any parameters (double-click on home button, point, let it focus, shoot). I tried resetting the camera settings to default and switching stabilisation on and off without much difference. It sure does not compare with all the amazing pictures you can see posted in this forum. Any help?

Look like bad len and sensor alignment or just a bad len.
In short, it's faulty/damaged camera. Get a replacement

hey there!no7p has 2 camera in the back: f 1.8 and f2.6 for tele camera,but how can i activate this tele camera function?
i already know if you take a shot enough light and press the button 2x then the canmera tele would activate! then i have tried some shot!all of this photo are taken in daylight,at 12 am,verry bright also! but when i look the info of these pic,all of them are f1.8(i also try to turn camera to the sun light but nothing change)

You have to press in the 1X circle that is up the shotting button. Put it in 2X. I think if you just zoom it is not going to work .
Second Cam using for Bokhe effect (Live Bokhe) mostly
Cover the second Cam and click the 2x button. That second camera is pretty useless
