You need the Android 10 Recovery to Install this ROM.
You need to ask @Hal9k_ for the Recovery.
Then you can put the update.zip in your USB Stick and install this with his recovery.

Hi.
I did tests on two PX5 4gb and 2gb boards and everything went ok, but when I came back on PX5 4gb with A10 - A9 I was too impatient and I broke the equipment, but I managed to put it back on again.
Good luck with your fun.

I installed it, tried it, it works well!
Here are some screenshots.

I upgraded it to this ROM. I already had Android 10 from Witson’s ROM. I upgraded it to this one, but the equalizer didn’t look like this. I didn’t wipe the data, does it influence anything? Radio and Music Player were correct

Thanks. But I am gonna use Kies as its already started the download
Downloading this as we speak.
Sammy releases updates (fixes) once a fortnight. Great that they are trying to fix some of the issues -- and each update seems to improve performance.
However, this also speaks volumes as to how under-cooked the original firmware that shipped with the device truly was!

Updated mine through Kies. I do not see any changes excepts "new wife" feeling like we say "its smooth, fast, blah.. blah..."
But I see the RAM usage of S4 below 900MB for the first time. I am running on STOCK and NEVER rooted
OTA update failed! Download completed, got a failed message. Things work fine now, but the phone is still with previous firmware!

Mostly OTA fails for rooted phone. Are you rooted? Try Kies or PC Odin.
Interestingly Samsung used the same Odin mode when we update using Kies this time.

is mobile odin compatible with I9500?
Will I get OTA?
Hi guys
So I flashed the TML Bangladesh FW BMG1 FW on Monday, and now I see that BMG5 is available for both India and Bangladesh, my Q is, will I get the OTA Update, as I am running TML FW on a XFA I9500?
so we gotta flash this via odin......
the zip has all reqd files? or is it just a .tar file for PDA?
Also does everything have to be wiped
i read sumwhere that its a non wipe Update
Could anybody check that this ROM contains Persian (Farsi) (فارسی) keyboard?
many thanks.
guys please follow the template method when providing feedback and so that it will be useful to others
Indian owners thread for S4 is closed now
Why ?
Where can we continue our discussion now ?

And here is the check list for the feedback:
1. Has new camera firmware?
2. Any new applications?
3. How is the overall memory management?
4. How is the overall smoothness?
5. Any noticeable bugs?
6. Stock weather widget redraw fixed?
7. Are contact and phone app stay in cache and even put in cache from boot?
8. Gallery app lag gone?
I am using a custom ROM so I won't give a feedback this time
Why does MG5 with lower revision number has higher number in changlist rather than MG9?
MG5 = 1133023
MG9 = 1107849
MG9>MG5 but 1107849<1133023
confuse

i had rooted my phone and when i tried to update it, it wouldnt. so i unrooted it and its still saying device is custom whenn i try to update. what should i do?

What if a G8142 flashes a G8141 ROM?

Vice versa, what will happen? Just out of curiosity.
i think the only thing that wont work will be the 2nd sim card. I remember flashing XperiStock ROM and if im right that rom is for G8141

If you edit build prop? Like carbon rom default is for 8141. After edited the build prop, 2nd sim works perfectly. Maybe I'll have a try for the next update....
just change the lines in the build.prop, restart the device and you're fine to go.
remember to keep a backup of the clean build.prop of your device.
in case you've lost your clean Build.Prop, here's my build.prop for the G8142 Dual from the .75 fw:

Hi jamal! First, thank you for your downloading-link! I´ve some issues with this version (GPS needs sometimes five or more minutes before having access, all my sd-cards didn´t work correctly....). Is there a new version available? Or do you have a webside where I can look myself from time to time if there is a new one?
Error - cannot install
Hi guys, I might be doing something wrong, I don't know, but here is my device, and I tried installing all three of the PX6 versions downloaded from your website, but each one of them failed. Please, could you help me to make it work on my head unit? Thank you so much!

I tried also installing the Android 9 versions from your website, but it says cannot install rk3388 on rk3399 device. Is there a way to upgrade to Android 10 on my device? Where can I get the Android version that is suitable for my device? What codes should I look for? Thank you

Can recovery be used to install img? or is there a way to extract ota?
Hi.
Thanks for this nice ROM, I really like it.
Just one annoying thing.
Is it possible to change the default Music APP widget to Spotify widget?
And the bottom icons could be changed?
Because I never use Video and Music apps... I need other app icons there.
Thanks!

I think you are out of Luck when it comes to roms for Spreadtrum. It seems that the SoC is a Cortex A7 that is 32bit only. PX30, PX5 and PX6 are all 64bit SoCs. So my guess ist that there is not really a demand for custom roms for such a (objectively) cheap device. Sorry.

Hi, if everything works, you don't need to update the MCU. The latest GS update is here:

Thanks for the MCU, i will try and see how it goes.
Actually I was trying to get the radio back alive. Its an Isudar B59-VW0803 (PX5 rockchip 3368) - and in February the display went black.
Support from Isudar is not good, but probably people here know already.
Today I was able to recover it after many tries through the recovery menu, installing a very old image for this radio (hct4_px5_9.0(20200509)升级包).
Radio is currently with Android 9, does it work to install this Android 10 directly from recovery or do I need to do an extra step? like the one described in post #1.
Thanks in advance
