so, i have a huawei g300 it was constantly freezing and restarting so i rooted, unlocked bootloader and also zeroed my imei so i could downgrade to gb. after successfully downgrading it started acting up again like before, so i upgraded back to a non branded ics firmware. after awhile it started acting up again after a couple of restarts it never came back on again, it doesn't respond to anything at all recovery mode nothing. but all the lights on the phone flash for a second when i insert the battery and sometimes when i connect the phone to the pc it says unknown device. am no noob so i have tried almost all the known tricks. fastboot, recovery, cwm all that stuff they don't work. even opened the phone and took out the small battery to erase the bios(whatever it's called) memory.
so no one here can help me? cmon someone! anybody!

how do i hard wipe? is it the same as factory data reset in recovery menu? my phone doesn't turn on at all... when i insert the battery all the keys and charging led flashes for a sec that's all i get from this phone. i noticed when i insert the usb cable into the pc i get the unkown device message. makes me wonder what state it's in wether (bootloader mode or something else) and Softwares that operate in bootloader mode cant find the phone either. am really confused, never experienced such a brick before. or maybe it''s a hardware problem cos all evidence points to that.
Hello everyone, im here asking for help. i have a huawei g730-u00 that was stuck on huawei logo, i have tried factory resetting with recovery and nothing, so ive flashed using sp flash tools and everything was ok, the process completed fine. but after putting back the battery and trying to turn it on the phone only vibrated once and nothing happens then it vibrated again and nothing and if i let it, it continues vibrating after some seconds but nothing more. it never showed the huawei logo again nor boot to recovery or anything else. i have flashed many times succesfully but the problem still remains.
what can i do to bring it back to life? the pc detects it fine, the screen is not broken, i just dont know what to do.
if anyone can help me i will be thankful!

Make sure you have the latest SP Flash Tools version 5.1532
Download Link to firmware: Huawei G730-U00 Firmware File
While flashing, try both the downloading modes 'Download All' and 'Firmware Upgrade' one by one, and check if it works..

thanks for answering me, i have tried several u-00 firmwares but with no luck.
it does not let me "firmware upgrade" dont know why
i have used several flash tools and it is the same.
im about to try other g730 model firmware just to be shure
i have tried u-10 but it wont let me flash
ive been told that the emmc could be damaged, but how could it be if i can flash it normally?
well, any idea will be appreciated
Download Stock Rom Huawei G730 U00,just google it.
Extract it and copy dload folder to your SD card.
Press power button+volume up and volume down. It will automatically flash official rom.
Note: make sure you are using stock recovery, hawei does not allow to flash official rom from custom recovery.
Make sure you put "dload" folder in sdcard,
that's
Ive tested several and it works..
Thanks :good:
Hi,
Do you manage with the problem?
I got exacly the same issue.
Try all method in this post and nothing....
When I try to flash phone with SP flash i get error:
BROM ERROR : S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004)
Tested on 2 laptops with WIN7, 10 andeven on XP...
Download soft on this page and extract it by Huawei Update Extractor. Still phone only one vibrate...
I even find some chinese "unbricker" for G730 but have same problem with connection...
Do you have maybe any idea what next?
Hi, well it looks like i have probably hard bricked my phone. After updating to nougat i decided to do afresh clean install. I wanted my phone to as if i had just bought it and came with nougat/emui 5 installed. So i did a factory reset from within the settings menu. But then i thought i would completely erase everything and start from the latest build before nougat, so emui 4.1.2/ marshmallow. So after wiping all the partitions in twrp and then doing a volume up + power to do complete factory wipe followed by using the three button method to install the B130 UPDATE.APP in dload folder on my sdcard, all worked as expected. The update completed at 100% and then rebooted. So there i am waiting for my phone to boot to start the setup process as i have done dozens of times before...BUT...my phone will not boot to the initial setup wizard. It just stays stuck on the Honor logo pulsing animation for ever and ever and ever!!!!!!
So i do the volume up + power button to get to stock recovery and do factory wipe and cache wipe as well. It works as expected so i reboot and once again use the 3 button method to install the update.app on my sdcard. That works as expected and at 100% says its succeeded and reboots. Once again i wait for it to boot to the initial setup wizard but....ALAS...it stays on that DAMN pulsing Honor logo. Ive tried rebooting it several times, redoing the factory wipe and install several times, but nothing. Ive gone into fastboot mode (volume down + power) to try and flash the boot.img and system.img ive extracted from update.app but get the error message -- remote: command failed -- and the same if i try to unlock bootloader. Obviously its not going to work because my bootloader isnt unlocked and nor can i got in to developer settings to enable oem unlock and turn USB debugging on because my phone wont boot past that bloody honor logo.
The only thing i havent done yet is to use eRecovery but i dont have broadband and i doesnt seem to work over public wifi! So i will go to my friends tomorrow and use their broadband and hopefullly eRecovery will download/restore the latest firmware. The only other thing i can think of is to download the original nem-l51c432B102 that came with my phone when bought, extract the update.app file and replace the B130 i have on my sdcard dload folder at present.
Sorry for such a long post but i wanted to expalin evrything in detail to hopefully resolve my problem without going backwards and forwards with questions and answers and taking for ever.
So ANYONE and EVERYONE who managed to read the whole post, if you have even the slightest idea of how to get my phone working, please oh please share it with me. Also my phone is still under warranty so if i needed to send it to a huawei centre to get it fixed would they do it and do it for free??? because eseentialy all i did was a factory wipe/reset and install a frmware and it goes KAPUT!! thats not my fault right????!!???
Thank you to one and all for any wisdom you can share.
please....please.......help???
So sorry for my original long post people, i simply wanted to give as much detail and info as possible because being vague doesnt help anyone. It seems that might have worked against me.
Please, please any suggestions would be appreciated to the N'th degree! I have tried everything i can think of and i am truly desperate now. I dont understand why i cant get it to work...
I can go into stock recovery and wipe the cach and do factory reset and that works fine, no errors.
I can hold the 3 buttons down to install the firmware package(ive got update.app from B130 build) and that works fine, gets to 100% and says 'success' and then reboots, with no errors.
But either way the phone refuses to boot past the honor logo boot animation and ive left it for hours hoping, praying, it will work after the 32nd time...
I can access fastboot but that is useless because my bootloader is not unlocked and i cant get to developer options to enable 'usb debugging' and 'oem unlock'. So i just get error message 'remote: Command Failed' with any command i type.
But thats madness, i cant comprehend why it wont boot because everything seems to work!?!
There has to be a way to get my device functioning again.
I am pulling my hair out, i am at a complete loss, it doesn't make sense. PLEASE ANYONE ..... please help....
Thanks HONOR-able enthusiasts for any help, no matter how small!
I have a mate 9. MHA-L29C185.
Using firmware finder I downloaded and installed L29C636 OREO. When it installed it is stuck now in eErecovery mode. I did a wipe partition and cache. Full reset ,factory. Nothing still stuck at erecovery and i can enter fastboot eerything is locked. It is unrooted. It is under warranty. I took it to gsm service im not sure they will succeed. I called huawei service they said they will change the firmware for 20 dollars. What did I do? Is it fixable ? help me!. I offer an award if online fix is possible.
Your post is old, so I assume by now you fixed it one way or another.
We have no idea what you did, but it sounds fixable. If you're in erecovery hold the power button until the device turns off. In erecovery you should be able to issue ADB commands.
It hard bricked ,it still in service centre. i hope they can fix it.
I have an OP 9 LE 2115 Global in USA
I was on LOS 19.
I had some issues and wanted to revert back to stock OOS 11.
First I tried via Recovery to flash Stock ROM OOS 11, but I had an error regarding the system version being too old and it didn't complete. The phone would no longer boot to OS.
I got the MSMDownloadTool from here: https://onepluscommunityserver.com/list/Unbrick_Tools/OnePlus_9/Global_LE25AA/R/
I used the tool successfully and got my phone booting to OS again.
But now my power button IMMEDIATELY turns off the phone whenever pressed, and does this kind of CRT TV shutdown, where the screen phases out vertically with colors.
This happens in recovery/fastboot menus as well, most of the time, and makes booting into recovery/fastboot *almost* impossible, as when I let go of the power button it turns off, and when I select and option with the power button it shuts off.
Any information would be so helpful! Thank you fine knowledgeable people of XDA.
For anyone to help, we need to know which model you have and which version of msm tool did you use?
Updated my original post. My apologies for the lack of important details.
Also I got a TWRP recovery successfully installed, so I have a recovery again.
I found this article that explains how to install each part individually via fastboot
Do you think this would help with my errors of non-existent partitions?

I'm tempted to try, but if anyone could chime in first?
Still having this issue, has anyone ever even heard of this problem?

This sounds like a hardware problem. If just after msm the phone does this, hardware it is then.
Thank you for the reply.
Do you have any more information or an idea on how to fix it? Or are you implying I may have caused permanent damage?

Flash with msm again. If problem persist after first time setup, hardware problem.

I have flashed with MSM a couple more times and same thing.
But for example, I got it to boot without the issue again, and everything works as normal, but as soon as I turn the phone off or it dies, I will struggle to get a boot that works properly.
I end up fiddling with the holding the volume buttons and power buttons in different combinations and eventually it works. I'm not sure if that's just random, or if I'm actually causing it.
If I can have a completely working boot, where the power/sleep button functions as normal, it seems like it's a firmware, data issue. Could you elaborate?
Thank you!
Hoping to bump this and try to get some help. My GPS also has failed to get a fix in this kerfuffle. (this is one of the reasons I was originally resetting to stock from LineageOS 19). Any advice?
Hardware problem and the fact it is 100% repeatable is a sign of hardware problem.
