Description : This a a All in one tool for asus zenfone 5 kitkat or jellybean. This is a batch script tool.​

How To Use :
Download the All-in-One Tool for Zenfone 5.7z from the download link.
Extract it with 7zip Zip manager.
Run the ROOT.bat in your PC.
Reboot your Zenfone 5 into Bootloader. To do this, power off your device first. Then press Power Button + Volume Up Button together.
Connect your Zenfone 5 to your PC with a USB Cable.
Follow the Onscreen Instructions on the ROOT.bat to Root, Unroot or whatever you want to do. Go to the HELP menu to know more about the tool.

Useful Tips :
Press IMG Flasher(No. 5) to go to the flashing menu.
To flash BOOT or RECOVERY, Unlock Bootloader first if the bootloader is locked. Otherwise the flashing will be failed.
To flash BOOT.img, rename the .img file without space and place it in the 'BOOT' folder.
To flash RECOVERY.img, rename the .img file without space and place it in the 'RECOVERY' folder
You will find BOOT & RECOVERY folder in the same directory of the ROOT.bat file .

TEST/INSTALL:
REMINDER: The following steps probably will destroy all data on your Forge. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Unlock your bootloader
1) Type "adb reboot bootloader"
2) Once in the bootloader (black screen with Razer logo only):
3) Type "fastboot oem unlock" and "fastboot reboot bootloader" (or just reboot if you want to back to Android Tv)
Testing the recovery
1) First of all, reboot to bootloader, type "adb reboot bootloader"
2) Once in the bootloader (black screen with Razer logo only):
3) Put the downloaded recovery in the adb/fastboot folder (windows) or open a terminal in the recovery directory (Linux), and type: "fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-0-pearlyn.img"
4) Wait a little, and the forge will reboot into TWRP.
Flashing the recovery
If you test it, and you like it you can flash it permanently on your device.
1) Type "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-pearlyn.img"
2) That's it!

hello, does any one can help? I have installed lineage os 14.0 on my forge tv, now I want to upgrade to 16.0, but my laptop do not recognize the drivers, I have installed adb universal drivers, my forge is usb tethering enabled too, I connected without hdmi, I been trying everything but still can't connect forge to laptop, device manager shows an unknown device connected
never mind, I find the way to install drivers...

WHAT IS TWRP?
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.
Notice1:
U Pro has A/B partitions. to prevent issues its good to flash it in both slot, because i/we can not know on which partition you are

INSTALLATION
if you use the old 20180227 Base you have to use Qfil Flashtools , because fastboot commands dont work in that Build.

if you are on 20180423 Base and newer you can use fastboot commands
required : ADB and fastboot
enable usb debugging in developer settings.

And for your problem it's because you are coming from stock rom and that's for the meantime not working because of data encrypted

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL] Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 for Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2 + TWRP 3.2.1.0

First of all, sorry for not posting this to the development section, I am currently unable to do so, if a moderator could move this to the phone's topic/thread/forum, that'd be great.
I recently managed to port both the rom and TWRP for this device, these are my first ever manually done ports. So I do not know much about that.
Also, the rom also has SuperSU root access.
Installation:
- Get SP Flash Tools (I used version 5.1512.0)
- Download the Resurrection ROM - https://mega.nz/#!Qhsi2ATa!2w45GlSMZHIxNRD-ocrDcvyeEzVkcVKOqaI4n-eaa1o
- Download TWRP - https://mega.nz/#!BosSiaAJ!apwPAEuNkWq0A6qKtadVQAkkjzZm4ka6gA5MUDT6r1c
- Download Gapps (ARM 7.1 Micro/Nano/Other) - http://opengapps.org/
- Flash the recovery through SP Flash Tools
- Boot to recovery (Power+Volume UP while the device is turned off)
- Required - Wipe system, cache, data, dalvik cache
- Flash ROM and Gapps
- Reboot.
- Wait for it to boot
IMPORTANT
This rom and TWRP are NOT bugless. Here are the issues:
Rom:
- Camera is not working
- No audio, only with earphones/headphones
TWRP:
- In TWRP, in the reboot menu, all options to reboot to specific mode just shut down the device instead. So for example, if you click reboot to recovery, it just shuts the device off. You have to reboot to recovery manually instead with hardware buttons, and so on.
About the ROM:
I tried fixing the issues by replacing the appropriate lib files, but no luck. It either bootlooped afterwards, or nothing changed at all. Not sure what use will it be of this rom if main features are not working. But I decided to do this just for fun and to share it with you, I don't think I can fix these problems myself, plus I will get rid of this device soon anyway. In case anything goes wrong, I am not responsible for the damages that may occur. Make sure you get the stock rom and flash it if you want to go back to the original.

FLASHING
Android 10 shipped devices have fastboot like we know it and its pretty much useless. and they have the new fastbootd (google it).
Get into fastbootd.
option a) from old fastboot, type: fastboot reboot fastboot (funny eh ?) another google miracle to not name it fastbootd.
option b) if you have a running os with adb: adb reboot fastboot
You should see a recovery like screen with a red "fastbood" message
(PLEASE DONT USE THE TWRP TO FLASH THE BUILDS, BUT YOU CAN USE IT TO FLASH MAGISK.)
Download the file and extract it and flash the images using the commands given below:-
fastboot -w (warning : this will wipe all your data)
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash product product.img
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot reboot
